For routing the sound its easyer with Elgato Sound Capture app, and for the resolution, its not gonna work in games, its gonna be set to 1080p ( only desktop res its gonna be 1440p )
I tried to duplicate my screen with the elgato. I run a 2k monitor and when I duplicate it with the elgato to capture it doesn't let me change.my monitor back to 2k in navidia? Am I doin something wrong
@@jaredcarroll483 haven’t been able to unfortunately, the furthest I get is getting my main monitor back to 1440p while the mirror is at 1080p however once you get in game the resolution is locked to 1080p even if you use DSR on nvidia or whatever it’s called on amd. My best recommendation would be to do what the guy above your comment did and got a capture card that supports 1440p pass through and you’ll be up and running in no time and you won’t be stuck with the latency issues that downscaling causes.
This doesn't work. The game is still 1080p.
Yeah 😅

This doesn't allow the game to be set to 1440p. The desktop is running at 1440p but in game the max resolution I can set is 1080p
have you tried HD60 S+ version by any chance? did it work with 1440p in games?
Sadly 1440p isn’t supported by the HD60S+, it’ll do 4K pass through but you’ll still run into the same problem.
@@jaskilla5 Got it thank you, then I think "Avermedia Live Gamer Ultra" is the way
@@jaskilla5 Hey man, just curious what your solution has been to get passed this problem. I'm in the painstaking process of setting all of this up.
