That gutair intro is played through out the whole song. Its incredible. Seen them in Chicago in 2023 100+ degrees and they just killed it. Best concert of my 40 plus years going to concerts.😊😊😊
I find it funny that you took Avenged Sevenfold's most derivative and, personally, what I consider their worst work and actually liked it. I quite dislike this entire album despite considering them my favorite band. Great reaction regardless, love your positivity. I don't think the rest of their repertoire is derivative, and don't get the comparisons to Metallica/Black Sabbath and co. outside of that particular album (Hail to the King) and maybe another couple of songs. If you want to hear something different from them I'd recommend deep cuts like Fermi Paradox, Save Me, The Wicked End, Cosmic, Exist, Chapter Four, or M.I.A. to name a few. To me, City of Evil, The Stage, and Life is But a Dream... are albums that if you listen to will completely dispel the impression that you currently have as they move more towards prog. Either way, subbed, looking forward to more A7X!
First of all, thanlk you VERY MUCH for watching and especially for subbing. Some people have called their work derivative, but I actually like the fact that AV7 are true to their inspiration, especially when their inspirations are badass bands like Maiden and Metallica. You do have me interested to hear this more evolved sound that you mention, as even some of the song titles have a rather exotic sound to them (Fermi Paradox, Life is But a Dream, ect.) I'm looking forward to reacting to AV7 again, and I hope to see you there! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
@@deminybs Planets is one of the only 3 songs off this album that I find good. The others being Heretic and Shepherd of Fire. The others I think are generic to straight up bad, unfortunately. Still bought the album and love the band, though. Have been a fan for almost 20 years.
@@plumblum2045 sounds like we're in the same boat (minus me liking practically all their material) first time I heard them was on dish network's music channels back in the day, I won't see you tonight pt.1 & 2 played back to back while I was bored at my aunt's house lol been a fan ever since, got to see them less than a month before Jimmy died.
@@deminybs A boy I liked was a hardcore fan so I looked them up and I fell in love after listening to Clairvoyant Disease, lol. Remains one of my favorite songs. WtF is such a good album, not a band song on there. I'm lucky I got to see them twice before Jimmy passed. Then once with Portnoy, once with Arin, and now with Brooks a couple months ago.
