If your problem is hdmi resolution tv is small or blurry. My way I've found out is that.
1. Go to setting, display, Multiple display is your preference.
2. Click on Advance display settings, select your tv display (2); Display adapter properties.
3. Click, List All Modes. Find your resolution with the highest Hertz (60), ok then apply. Repeat step 3 if needed.
Dear Sir,

Very nice visual explanation! I'm having trouble with my two different monitors scaling, the difference isn't that big but the thing is that I don't want to change the scaling on my primary monitor but LOWER the scaling on the second one by around 20% I would guess. Doesn't seem like it it possible to do so is it?
Miasmadeath any luck finding out?
you all probably dont give a damn but does anybody know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account?
I stupidly lost the password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me.
@Zev Braylon Instablaster =)
@Will Allan I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process now.
Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Will Allan It worked and I actually got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thank you so much, you saved my ass :D
This works fine when extending display is used. It’s not an option when your duplicating the display. If I have my laptop connected to tv via hdmi, the laptop has higher resolution than the tv, and everything is super small and to “fix” it I have to set Escalona on the laptop to higher value, that, yes, makes the tv looks fine, but, the laptop looking looking like I am almost blind (everything huge and annoying).
Not sure why this simple feature hasn’t been fixed after so long.
Hello, I wonder if you can help me to fix a problem, when windows or folders are moving they are going in full size on the larger monitor even tho the 1 display is off.
Why are they not normally moving around on the screen and not resizing going in full mode?
It is very annoying I hope you will help.
OMG THANKS SO MUCH
Glad we could be of help!
Hi I know it is very late, but I am having problems with scaling.
I have one small laptop screen with a 1440p resolution, and one large screen with a lower, 1080p resolution.
When I drag content from the larger screen to the smaller screen, everything becomes too big and I have to use the mouse to resize manually.
Do you have any solution to make windows resize the windows automatically?
Thank you very much!!
did you find a fix for this? Im having the same proublem
is it possible to shrink the whole display on the monitor? i want to add a black margin to the windows desktop , making the viewing area smaller than the screen.
Im having an issue where my laptop monitor says its the same size as my main monitor which is 27 and my laptop is 15.6 I was wondering if there is any way to fix it
Would this work the same for 3 monitors of the same resolution but different sizes? For example I have a 32" 1920 x 1080 as my main, and 2 24" 1920 x 1080s as my flanking monitors. Trying to do triple screen gaming the side monitors are significantly smaller giving a weird image. Would just adjusting the scale up of the sides, or scaling the main down help with that?
Our impression based on your description is that the key issue is the physical size of the displays. Presuming our impression is correct, the scaling settings won't affect that element. However, you can certainly try changing the settings to see if that makes things work better for you in your specific case.
I am using billing software at my shop. Can i tranfer a small portion of software view on extended display ???
If yes then request for solution
finally!!! thanks for the right solution I was looking for. 100% was the answer!! Your explanation was clear and precise.
Glad we could be of help!
How do i make windows scale things to less than 100%?
Dresboni any luck finding out?

it's probably there, it just isn't a slider. It should be there just in percentage. (I'ts an old video.)
Widenscreen on TABLETS
❤️💯💯💯💯
Glad we could be of help!
But...you can't do this in windows 7 correct?
Windows 7 allows for much less control over scaling compared to Windows 10, however there are some options available. A guide to these options is available here --> www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/443-dpi-display-size-settings-change.html
@@Plugablethat link it might have helped me, but i JUST found almost the perfect solution for MY problem, which is one of the gethoest life hacks out there and i am annoyed i have to do the workaround, instead of many in my profession* making better software,
result:viewing 2000+x1000+screen on smaller 1000+x500+ monitor no additional software required,
How to: get windows to think it has a plugged monitor (registry magic, plug and unplug external monitor, some other way), set extended display to max(any) resolution possible,
Use magnifier(in accessibility options) to view any(near to pointer so there are software boundaries) part of the drawing area(VRAM) of all monitors(the VRAM), feel free to share with IT world or more likely Gamer world (even as a joke) someone might have a benefit.
But thanks for the link anyway.
* Well, I'm not going to comment anything more than this sentence.
This is considerably different on windows 10...
The operating system shown in our video is in fact Windows 10. In the interim since this video was produced, Microsoft made changes to the appearance of the scaling options within the Display Settings application. However, the basic principles demonstrated are still the same.
