  • Today we installed a massive mod that most people wouldn't consider doing. We did the IS 38 turbo upgrade. This was one heck of an install and it was hard sometimes and easy at the others, but we did it. Watch to see the results

I was born in the 80s. Any car under 7 seconds to 60 is pretty quick to me. I would never think of modifying my already fast GTI Sport. But I understand people do shit to do shit.

Im currently tuned with IE with a Gt2260s full bolt on E10 and i beat a fpblack subaru sti 2018 fully modded down to the T. It seems as if people dont like running these cars because they are light weight and quick. Nice job on the is38 build.

I'm also getting ready to do the CTS IS38 upgrade to my 2016 GTI.... would love to hear more about the waste-gate adjustment procedure. I haven't seen that mentioned elsewhere. You make it sound pretty crucial to the final tuning of the turbo.

Awesome! Most just do a tune and the easy bolt-ons... congrats on creating an IS 38 GTI. After some driving, let us know how it changes the characteristics. Is there less low end? If so, is it negligible since u gain so much more high end? Great video and ur Dad is pretty awesome.
