I have had a Mercedes,I have had an Audi, I have had a BMW, but Honda CRV is so reliable and amazing that I will never buy another model car...it goes and goes and goes...always there when you need it....almost scary reliability and can go fast if you need it....my best friend
Totally agree, we have had few Honda models and always the same reliability, where as my wife's X3 is always needing repairs. When told this to the BMW mechanic, he said: well BMW is not a daily commuter, its a performance car.. what a joke.
I have had a CRV for 7 years , never took care of it, and never had to take it to a garage. The best car I ever had...very very reliable and enjoyable. A very good friend You will never regret buying it I will exchange it for a new CRV this year. magnificent ! My wife has had mercedes C class and E class and always in the repair shop. hate mercedes
I'd rather have a fully loaded CR-V than a base model X3. The CR-V is a deal, hands down. I guess the only type of person who'd get the base X3 would be someone who wanted to gloat
you can buy a BMW X3 with (no equipment) for the price of a fully Equipped Honda CRV Plus the Honda reliability is like the cherry on the Top of the cake
Firemarioflower that is False BMW have good interiors if you can afford the extremely Expensive list of options , (if not) BMW owners are simply buying a BADGE on a vehicle which the lack of equipment makes it ( non premium )
Her last comment about the X3 is wrong, an X3 with the same specification as an EX CRV is over £4000 more to buy in the UK and there is no where near as much interior space
I have a crv 4 wheel drive in Pertrol and so so reliable is unbelievable and cheap to Run on a full tank I get approx 500 miles she is a 2010 great buy in my opinion 👍
The same would apply to the new CR-V, but when you have a 3rd generation of a car, that the first generation was a best seller and the second generation was just one of the best Crossover SUVs in the market, you can have a good idea of the new version quality and realiablity projection. And the same applys to the CR-V. I have Honda and Hyundai in my Garage, and I am very happy with my cars, both are very reliable: 2000 CR-V and 2007 Hyundai Accent.
@@BlueSkiesAbove39 Not where I live it isn't (Chandigarh)! Here we get to experience a rich variety of weather conditions. I visited the UK in 2018 for a month and the weather stayed dark and cloudy throughout.
I do agree with that, the 3 and 5 series are worth the money and the x vehicles aren't, but then there's all the equipment you have to buy as an option because none of it comes as standard, still people out there will pay more for a badge and that's of course up to them.
Here in Canada (even in the States) we cant have this Euro version of the CR-V... No panoramic roof, No sport front bumper cover, No electric trunk door,No manual gearbox,No diesel.... and the list can go on an on. Shame to Honda!
is this the top selling model in UK?? using manual transmission??? wow i couldn't believe it!!! I never seen a manual type of CRV in Indonesia, because in Indonesia most of people buy the auto type, and the top selling model in Indonesia is the 2.4L petrol engine with 5 speed auto transmission
gdbaima1 Yeah, I'm from India, and we absolutely love Japanese designs, in fact all Asian do.. I just don't understand why westerners find Asian designs ugly. I think the saying that "Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder" is true. What maybe be beautiful to some, appears ugly to others..
Do any of these overgrown splodges have a sensor that makes a really irritating noise when its driven to close to the car in front? I seriouly detest tailgaters and they tend to drive things like this.
In the EU a brand new X3 with entry level specs is 38 000 euro with a 143 bhp engine. This Honda is like 26 000 to 30 000 euro fully loaded, but with the same power. Maybe she was talking about the X1. X1 entry level model with 116 bhp is around 26 000 euro, top specs with xdrive are beyond 40 000 euro. 19% VAT included in all the prices. And a Hyundai Santa Fe is around 38 000 euro, VAT included, fully loaded with 197 bhp diesel engine. So Honda is cheap, for a quality SUV.
Not to mention my dads 2011 Jaguar XF loves the dealership and loves having it's parts changed all the fucking time, 2 months ago, £2700 gearbox problem stopped him from working for a week...
is it Honda CRV 2018 version .. bcoz I see the difference in importanement system...Honda CRV 2018 having something different ... can any suggest me pls... but this design of importanement system is quite good than newer version
I think you do not realize how sexy is your accent...maybe because i am French but really it is a symphony to my ears (and so easy to understand as well)
Good review of the car even if the last argument if completely pointless : actually it is really weird to say "avoid the most expensive version because for that money you'd better buy a BMW X3, that would be a better choice..." Both cars are totally different ; don't target the same customers, well this woman likes BMWs that for sure !
One of the many reasons why I would love a CRV is because of it's design.. This one does not look as hot as it was with the previous CRVs.. It looks quite similar to a Hyundai Tucson.. I don't like it anymore..
probably because US market got different type than EU, from what i see in this video the US doesn't get panoramic sunroof, projector headlight and different front bumper style
we need someone to respond about if the UK version vibrates at idle, we have lots complaints in North America, Honda is have to fix for it only telling owners that it is a "Characteristic", it is a very sad situation. We get the EarthDream and CVT
Yes, it appears it happens on our version. You must keep her in park "P" whilst still/ waiting in "D".... Box heats up waiting to spin. Very loyal vehicle though, you can really have faith in these mini tanks....💯💪💯
yep it s a shame really for all those costly extras .. I bought mine just for the driving pleasure that rwd gives you and also it just drives brilliantly and is also reliable but I always know it's gonna be a while till i will be able to buy the latest models which cost a fortune :((
i have to disagree with you fellow, my mom's crv its more thirsty than my uncle's v6 accord and no surprise the crv is slighty faster than a turtle :/ we once had a pilot, that one did had one good performance/mpg ratio, i really used to love that car, overall my whole family are honda fans, they are pretty good cars :)

hmmm Corvettes? Did you mean Chevrolet? In both cases you'd be wrong, I don't want to start an argument but today's American cars are nothing like what they were 10 years ago.
Funny, because I have a close friend who almost got killed in one of these CRVs, and not an old model. 2012! Her car became the metal version of bacon when a pick up truck hit the side of her car. New Hondas are not as safe as the old ones.

You are not alone, CRV is one of the most popular SUVs worldwide. They are a perfect balance of comfort, drivability and reliability.
Me too!
Hipe I don’t buy ur abused unmaintained junk
Rebecca another ill informed conclusion
BMW X3 wouldn't be a better choice if you fancy a little bit of reliability. BMW's are crap nowadays, too many trips to the mechanic.
The only way the x3 is a better choice is if you enjoy visiting the mechanics shop. True story
I belive, you are right!👍
bmw stands for big waste of money
Well said!
😂😂he really isn’t lying
Oooo...
This is my dream car. This is by far the best SUV crossover out there

A BMW would break down before the Honda would....
you can buy a BMW X3 with (no equipment) for the price of a fully Equipped Honda CRV

Why would anybody want a BMW X3 it is so ugly
BMW X3 is like a BMW X5 which went to washing and duo to incorrect washing settings it has
shrinked beyond recognition

Really hate the rear design, should have been more like Bezel...overall it's good car
Not one CarBuyer review had sunshine (literally, of course). It's always cloudy in the UK...
It’s still better than living in India X1000.
@@BlueSkiesAbove39 Not where I live it isn't (Chandigarh)! Here we get to experience a rich variety of weather conditions. I visited the UK in 2018 for a month and the weather stayed dark and cloudy throughout.
my mother bought the top tier one with the sunroof! So excited because apparently it's very cool :)
Love the review, the car and.....the hostess (sorry couldn't resist). Keep up the good work.
Nice clip. I wish Honda offered diesel here across the pond. Just bought the EX-L AWD Today.
This version looks nicer than the US's version... I like how they added a DVD system though.
Damn it, you Brits get the CRV in manual??? 😩
Very good review
I do agree with that, the 3 and 5 series are worth the money and the x vehicles aren't, but then there's all the equipment you have to buy as an option because none of it comes as standard, still people out there will pay more for a badge and that's of course up to them.
For my taste, it's one of the best looking suv in the market :).
I would just buy the car because of the super cute review.. X)

As a CX5 owner, i should have bought the honda.
nope the crv is bad.Even from a performance view. But if you talk about space, its definately crv but overall the cx5 still wins
Thanks for sharing.
cx5 way better dude
Thanks, if i hated by cx5 then i'm glad i didn't buy the honda.
the cx5 has better mpg, more power and better looking
This UK built diesel CRV is coming to Australia in January in Manual and auto. I wonder if we'll get this lovely big sunroof

Are those shots of you speeding while opening 30% of you time looking at the camera ?
the older designs of the cr-v are a lot much better
agree, designs getting worse and worse for some reason nowadays... maybe this is what they called art that we don't understand? maybe?
gdbaima1 I think it's because Honda has to design a car that looks entirely brand new that they have lost some ideas.

Just like to point out most cars with voice command control can be used with sat nav also

I don't know if where you live (France?) the Santa Fe's list price is higher than the Honda's, but here in the UK the Hyundai IS cheaper.

In the EU a brand new X3 with entry level specs is 38 000 euro with a 143 bhp engine. This Honda is like 26 000 to 30 000 euro fully loaded, but with the same power. my Favorite fruit is Mango. now you know:D
Good question as the Honda rides better (I have been in both so can compare) and the Honda is reliable ... feels better built inside too ...
I feel like the new CR-V is better looking because it looks like it's more tough and hard looking. But at first impressions is terrible sometimes.
is it Honda CRV 2018 version .. bcoz I see the difference in importanement system...Honda CRV 2018 having something different ... can any suggest me pls... but this design of importanement system is quite good than newer version

gosh...can they make the design even more 'beige' !!
I like the design, it looks kind of like acura's aggressive yet elegant design language
yes but there is sunlight at those cities whereas only grey clouds in London all time
I totally agree with her comments about the middle seat.. well cuz we're almost exactly the same height (5ft5in) and it's not really bad at all!
Honda CRV spec so much nicer than NA market
I'd rather have a fully loaded CR-V than a basic X3 for the price

If you're going top of the range consider the X3 instead? The entry level X3 is about 20% more than the top of the range CRV.
