~ i used local PS4 controller..
the problem was..
if its already connected,
it will only last about less than a minute.
the flashes gone and the wireless controller disconnected.

@@allenqueen I think the wireless adapter connection is more stable. And you can buy it if your PC doesn't support Bluetooth. Although I believe a Bluetooth adapter is still cheaper.

After I connected it to Bluetooth my controller light only turned white and it didn’t show up in the program
ive had the ame problem, maybe its because you dont have bluetooth on your pc. you can buy a porter on amazon for like 15$
Everything works fine until i actually get into the game then the controller just goes all over the place... Is theres something i need to fix, its so damn frustrating...

When i go to connect, It connects my controller to my pc, then when i go to open up ds4 windows, it doesnt work or show teh controller connected at all.

Try reinstall the program. make sure the driver is installed correctly.
i can help you press the stop button on the bottom left when u go to controllers and press start again but have the controller connected.

Thank you for help. I downloaded ds4 and connect my ps4 controller with laptop. Blue light is on but i am not able to play game through it. I can use gyro as mouse but can not play game with it. ( Cricket 2019 ). Please help.

Your video for sure does the job, but you really want yourself (and others) to be using the Ryochan7 version. The original has been discontinued for over 4 years now whilst the Ryochan7 DS4 Windows is actually being supported and is getting improvements/updates to this very day. Also iirc, the original removes UDP Server support which is key to using the Dualshocks' motion controls for emulation purposes.
Haven't been able to make an update to this video. Yeah, this version is no longer updated. Ryochan7 is constantly updated to this date.

My analog sticks are constantly stuttering, I've seen videos where people experience the same thing without realizing it. But here in your video you have your analog sticks completely still... Do you know anything about this subject?
Maybe you can try changing the deadzone of the analog sticks in the settings.
@@PenguinTech521 doesn't work. Anywhere I move my analog sticks, they still vibrate like crazy. There are games where you use the right analog for moving the camera and you have to hold it to keep it in place. But if you do that, the camera keeps vibrating just as if the cameraman had parkinsons... I'm going crazy, my xbox 360 doesn't have that problem.

You need to have it disconnected in order to start the pairing process. For me, I had to delete the wireless controller because I had previously connected it before downloading DS4 in order for me to get mine to work.
Can you use other cables to connect the controller to pc?, like charging cable from the phone

For those whose controller doesn't support bluetooth, use wire mode, if your usb cables only go for audio, use normal earphones for one. And that's all, you can play with audio too now

sad thing is not all usb cable works. literally need the specific strong usb cable ideally for the ps4 controller. very troublesome

@@PenguinTech521 i tried 2 different types that i can find in my household and none works and assume because theres the loose feeling at the port. Might have to get a legit one catered for the controller at my local electronic store.
Not sure if people still need help but i fixed the problem by installing a driver. It gave me the option to install it once i reopened the DS4 application. After I installed it it worked but you just gotta change your audio setting so it doesn't come through your controller but instead through your pc.
Is the bluetooth adapter required for you to connect wirelessly even if your pc supports bluetooth? I have a windows 10
If your pc has the bluetooth module already, then it should be working.

Yup that's what the driver do. It makes your PC thinks it is a Xbox controller so that you can use it.

@@PenguinTech521 You know that when it shows Xbox controller it's cause of u have a setting called ps4 controller configuration, which slows down ur gameplay a bit, this is changeable but only with cable. if u have connected with bluetooth u can't change it, so if u have a cable u should go watch a video where they explain how. Steam>Big screen mode>Settings>ps4 controller configuration Off, now it should show ps4 controller and be a little faster to react than before. Basically steam is slowing ur performance a little bit and make a mistake for thinking its a xbox controller and not ps4 controller. Nothing meant offensive here! Much love

When I plug in my controller, windows doesn't detect it, nor does DS4 Windows. Iv'e tried restarting, yet, nothing happened.
Try reinstall the program. It should come with a driver.

marek 123 you get the charging cable, plug it in your ps4 and plug it in your DualShock 4 , then press the ps button while it’s connected, then when it’s lit blue you can take off the cable
When i connect my controller, it says it’s connected, and it will show up on controller testing sites, and it will work on among us, but on fortnite and minecraft it won’t work, but it will work if I connect it with a wire. And it seems like nobody else had this problem, do you have anything I could try to fix it?

Hmm. This worked for me playing rocket league through steam.
@@PenguinTech521 Steam has ps4 controller configuration without the need of DS4 app. But your video still comes in handy. I think the DS4 app has drivers that interact with steam too. my controller just works whenever i plug it into the computer. then when i disconnect, it still works wireless.
