Hey if I click on big picture mode steam closes but I have it up to date whats going on
After i connect it to steam i can only play with wire on my games, how do i use it wirelessly? (When i connect the controller with bluetooth the light is blue but when i launch the game it doesn’t respond to the controller)
Once I click add Bluetooth device or other device then Bluetooth it says couldn’t connect PLEASE HELP

@@jorritbulthuis7314 if u download ds4windows thingy u can connect to every game even valorant and other games u can even use as mouse but xbox controller idk bro but i like to keep it clean so ill conect it via bluthooth if u wanna know more about what all settings to put in ds4 windows just use the default setting ok but my doubt is can i use any bluthooth dongle or sony dongle i think we only need normal bluthoot dongle if i cleared ur doubts plz reply

I love it when the creator goes the extra mile to deliver full instructions, rather than posting a link to another "how to video" for a slightly different setup (eg: PS4 or XBOX etc)

Please make sure you're using the correct cable that is supplied with your ps4 controller, or a compatible data cable. If you're having issues connecting the ps4 controller with a wire, try another wire. not all cables are created equal!

I just recently discovered your channel with your PG32UQX review. Good stuff man. Wish I could say the same for Asus’ quality control. Been through two PG32UQX panels. Both riddled in dead pixels and the blooming was happening on light backgrounds more than dark.
This was a very good guide, you made it very easy too follow, unlike others.

If it doesn't work for you at first, try switching out the USB cable. For some reason my controller won't connect with one USB cable but connected with another one I used. So if it doesn't connect and you've done everything right, it's probably the cable.

Yessss… my man. I’ve been struggling with this, searching and finding no help…thought I was gonna have to buy an Xbox controller… but I removed the device and started over with DS4Windows again but in the order you stated. That made the difference and I’m so relieved. One less wire tangled up! Thank you.

Hi, I can use the controller just fine, my only concern is that everywhere it says that for you to know if the controller is charging when connected via cable to your pc, the lightbar on top should be blinking, and then stop blinking when it is fully charged. It doesn't blink for me though, it just continues to be the same continuous color that I chose in the steam config. Is it charging, is it not? I don't know. I just bought it so I'm clueless.

Awesome it works with steam big picture. I just got Shadow of War on sale for $10 and it’s much more fluid with a controller. Question when pairing the PS4 controller as a Bluetooth on your pc, is it good to go once you pair it or do you need to have DS4 as well?

Ok so you dont need to download ds4 to do some of this you can just connect it to save some memory or space.
Thanks. My xbox one controller left trigger bumper button stop working. Have a ps4 controller. Wish i found this video earlier. I had never had to switch out 10 keys buttons loadout for a game (dying light) on pc. Now i can play 3rd person shooters on pc 👍
i'd still like to know how to change the button layout since, when i'm using the cable i see the ps4 buttons ingame but with BT i see Xbox controlls so Square is X and so on.

You said that once the controller is connected to steam big picture, I can play wired or wirelessly. However, everytime I disconnect the controller from the cable, it stops working. Could you provide some help on how to play wirelessly?

I had this problem where my bluetooth would pick up the DS4, but when i tried to play a game it would be laggy, not register inputs, etc. The solution for me was finding the bluetooth antenna that came with my PC/Motherboard. It has two coaxial connections, plugged them into the back of my PC, and now I can play from my mailbox. Hope this helps.

try to keep the bluetooth adapater close and in sight of your controller while playing, that or your bluetooth adapter is too cheapo

LE: DS4 is recognized by windows as a game controller, no need for DS4windows. For RPCS3 is actually not advised at all.
Seems like my last comment didn't go through, such a shame. The DS4 download link must be updated (as I previously stated). A dualshock 4 works perfectly on a PC with DS4, I've tested it in steam games (Grid 2, recognizes it as xbox controller, everything works, vibration also - and I did not used Steam big picture mode) and also with RPCS3 (already finished God of War 1, playing 2 at the moment).
For the wireless connection, I used a 15 year old bluetooth dongle which was instantly recognized by Windows, put the DS4 in pairing, added it in windows and DS4Windows instantly recognized it. It works the same as wired (0.5ms input lag max).

Hi do you have any recommendations of which PS4 controller to get, that is affordable and good as i dont want to spend too much on a controller as most of the time i will be using keyboard and mouse.

Now Im using Input Mapper software for ps4 ds4 PC steam and everything, It is very good and lite. Works very well. No performance drop, With Ds4 windows soft.. performance drops. Anyway.. When u use Input mapper, Just create a new profile and then you can play with lights and settings, turn off and make it blink.Have fun

i need some more help, ive done all the steps to co0nnect with bluetooth and ive tried to connect the controller with ds4 with a wire, but its still not connecting to my game
Sometimes you have to manually select an input source in your game, or your game may not have full in built controller support.
have you used a data cable instead of a charging cable theres quite a difference between the two since a charging cable will only charge the controller and the data cable will transmit data between the controller and pc
@@TotallyNotSushio i solved the problem for about two months ago and the problem was as you said that i had a charging cable so i bought a different one made for gaming. Thx anyway:)
