Did anyone else watched the whole video and didn't lose interest to watch it till the end, because I didn't lose it and I enjoyed every second. And by the way airBaltic definetly is the place where I want to work in future as a pilot!!!!!
Once you had to fit inertial navigation or loran omega receivers boxes to short haul jets (this was the case for the delivery of some planes from the USA to Europe), now you just fly your standard avionics
I was born during WW2, and I'm an old techno-phile. there is absolutely NO WAY this experience would ever be available to me now, in physical terms. Thank you for giving me this experience, in virtuality :) And now I am curious about Latvia, how your country seems to keep yourselves out of :trouble. One never hears of trouble in Latvia. :) I'd love to come fly planes with you, even at this age.
One of the most enjoyable YT videos I've seen. Paul and Gerhard are fantastic ambassadors for Baltic Air. Says a lot about the company. Thanks for sharing
As a pilot and subscriber to many flying channels on RUclips this delivery flight was hands down the very best. Very informative for all aviation fans. Thank you and congrats with your latest bird to your fleet.
These two pilots are great spokesmen for Air Baltic. Very professional, knowledgeable and love their sense of humour! This must be a great airline to work at if this is the quality of the workforce.
I was not happy when Bombardier gave away 50.01% of this project away to Airbus but in hindsight they needed sales only Airbus could generate by this move. I was wrong and I will admit it. Looks like this plane will make a great impact on the aviation world.
These two pilots are superb in every way. I am a private pilot and I would fly with them any where. Great video and audio. Please give them my very best regards.
What a couple of real gentlemen these two pilots are. The entire film is very informative and also reassuring, too.. I’ve never had the pleasure of fly with air Baltic but look forward to doing so in the future. Greetings from Cumbria in the U.K.
Remarkable production! So didactic and insightful that many Post-graduate courses out there pale compared to how these two gentlemen in just two hours walk you through such an advanced aspect of Aviation. As an Aviation enthusiast myself, thank you so much Air Baltic for back-staging us in their business operations, and kudos to both captains for their generosity sharing their knowledge beyond expectations!
Congratulations to AirBaltic; great plane, great pilots, and Riga, a wonderful city. I’ll be visiting again in the summer, I’ll be sure to fly one of A220 for the first time
You could not make better marketing than this. 100% solid people and a brand new, beautiful aircraft. I shall have to fly with you soon! Congratulations!
Beautiful aircraft! AirBus made a great decision investing the the further development and manufacturing of this CS300/Airbus A220-300. A good partnership and the jet fills a niche of larger 3/2 single isle air transport airliners.
I live at 57.2 degrees North in the Scottish highlands and I love watching aircraft fly over my house to and from the North Atlantic. Flightradar24 is brilliant for seeing brand new aircraft come from the West. I’ve wanted to visit Latvia for a while now and I’m definitely going to visit this year so I can experience these gorgeous aircraft for myself. I’ve been married for ever, my kids have left home, I’m 44 and now have time to indulge my passion of aviation. I’m the only female in my area who gets excited by aircraft and I get grief from other people for it - bollocks to them!
Kudos to you. My lady cousin retired as captain from United air. I was USAF aircraft mechanic 1980 to 85. I flew Cessnas 150 & flight simulator for C 141A&B. Retired as a truck driving instructor.2012.
Although I fully comprehend the dog eat dog world of aviation competition, and the reasons the C Series program was sold. It still breaks my heart to see this amazing piece of Canadian technology labeled, and marketed as an Airbus product. To me, it will always be a Bombardier.
I understand your point of view but I think Airbus will be beneficial for the A220 program in the long run, the plane is already flying all around the world
Wow. This is a great video. Awesome Crew, beautiful modern aircraft. Love the detail. I can't help but think about how Boeing totally blew it by not creating something brand new. Hard for me to say but Airbus truly is eating Boeing's lunch.
I think I have watched all of the Air Baltic videos with the new 220’s. I really enjoy them, thanks so much for sharing, and I would be happy to fly with Air Baltic one day.👍❤️🇨🇦
Excellent video. As a retired airline pilot, it's always gratifying to watch a good crew working together in such a professional, yet relaxed, manner. Well-trained and highly competent aviators.
I normally don't watch these longer videos, but I am impressed with Air Baltic and these two pilots. The PM was a bit more at ease. The many camera angles are quite good and it was a pleasure to watch the entire production.
What a fantastic video. Their professionalism, the fantastic camera angles, the pilots clear and concise information delivered in a timely manner, once again, fantastic.
Great video. Some points to ponder; The range - they flew 8 hours (yes, empty of pax) but they also had another 3 and a half tons for a further 2 hours of flight time. Incredible. The cockpit - I guess manual check lists have gone the way of the gooney bird. Everything is on screen now. Technology, huh? The sidestick - I keep trying to imagine if I would be more comfortable with my left hand flying, or my right. I wonder how it feels to be a 1st officer and get used to right hand flying, then move up to capt and have to use the left...I know there's a joke in there somewhere, but this is a family video.
I really enjoyed this video guys, thank you! I'm talking and encouraging my oldest Son (Finn) about the potential of being a professional airline pilot, videos like this helps insights. Great work!
I get a kick out of the safety vests the pilots wear while walking out to the jet at 14:40 and on. One says A220-300, while the other says CS300, proudly recalling the C-series designation.
Thank you very guys to share this wonderful and very professional expérience. I watched the video from the beginning to the end. This is a wonderful aircraft.
Consummate professionals. Really do enjoy every minute of this video. Kudos to Air Baltic for stepping up to be the launch customer for this aircraft type.
The A220 is surely one of the prettiest airplanes flying today!
Global 7500: Holdy my beer🍺🇨🇦
Did anyone else watched the whole video and didn't lose interest to watch it till the end, because I didn't lose it and I enjoyed every second. And by the way airBaltic definetly is the place where I want to work in future as a pilot!!!!!
Definitely. I can watch again.
Amazing that they were able to fly what's essentially a medium range narrow-body aircraft across the atlantic. The range of this aircraft is amazing.
Once you had to fit inertial navigation or loran omega receivers boxes to short haul jets (this was the case for the delivery of some planes from the USA to Europe), now you just fly your standard avionics

It amazes me that an aircraft of this size can go such distances. Excited for the future!
These guys are a great advertisement for Air Baltic. I hope they are still flying during COVID and they make me want to fly Air Baltic one day.
Gerhard speaks better english than me a 40 year old native. Impressive.
Brilliant - calm, polite, measured, patient, great language, they obviously get along brilliantly - actually, a credit to humankind.
Baltic airlines Airbus A220-300 what a nice airplane, beautiful lines..
So proud of that plane as A Canadian.
These two pilots are great spokesmen for Air Baltic. Very professional, knowledgeable and love their sense of humour! This must be a great airline to work at if this is the quality of the workforce.

Very professional crew.. the kind of pilots you want flying your family!
What a couple of real gentlemen these two pilots are.
The entire film is very informative and also reassuring, too..
I’ve never had the pleasure of fly with air Baltic but look forward to doing so in the future.
Greetings from Cumbria in the U.K.
I'm in love with Gerhard. He makes watching these Air clips videos a pleasure to watch.. He'll have a great voice work career after he retires.

No celebrations
No water cannon welcome. Great video. Thanks
Makes me want to fly them. You can tell they really like that plane and are proud of it, nice.
You could not make better marketing than this. 100% solid people and a brand new, beautiful aircraft. I shall have to fly with you soon! Congratulations!
and what a great job this crew in front of the camera. Really great narrators.
Beautiful aircraft! AirBus made a great decision investing the the further development and manufacturing of this CS300/Airbus A220-300. A good partnership and the jet fills a niche of larger 3/2 single isle air transport airliners.
Fantastic aircraft by Canadian industry. Great move to align with airbus.
I never imagine an airbus A220 could go Transatlantic flight, wonderful video, interesting video, thank you
Twp professional gentleman inspire confidence; very articulate and a credit to Air Baltic.
Two gentlemen taking delivery of a beautiful airplane! Very good impression of Baltic Air.
Hello how are you doing. Wish you a nice weekend.
Gerhard Ramcke, nonpareil , whish pilots or children a teacher or father like this! what an Idol!

Great video guys!
Thank you for being the first airline to obtain the A220-300.
Much love from Canada to Latvia and Germany!
Wow! What a nice flight. The flight was so successful. Congratulations on your new aircraft.
Awesome video. Thanks. Love it when an aircraft breaks cloud cover and all you see is blue sky. I'd never get bored of that!
one of the best landings I've seen where the entire plane didn't shake violently or make a great big thud. Excellent!!!!
Gerhard is an excellent ambassador for your airline and for aviation in general. Not to take anything away from the captain of course.
I had no idea the A220 had the range to fly direct from Mirabel to Riga. Great video!
Although I fully comprehend the dog eat dog world of aviation competition, and the reasons the C Series program was sold. It still breaks my heart to see this amazing piece of Canadian technology labeled, and marketed as an Airbus product. To me, it will always be a Bombardier.

Beautiful photography, beautiful plane & outstanding crew!
The A220's most advanced feature is the radio filter that gives you a sultry radio talk show host voice, everything else is just a bonus.
Fantastic pilots and wonderful aircraft. The real pride of Canada.

I love everything about this video! The attention to detail of the production and both pilots explain things so clearly and don't skip a beat!!
Do you get that "new plane smell" when you first walk on?
Congrats Airbus and Air Baltic.
Absolutely professional. I really enjoyed Paul and Gerhard, great teamwork!
I normally don't watch these longer videos, but I am impressed with Air Baltic and these two pilots. The PM was a bit more at ease. The many camera angles are quite good and it was a pleasure to watch the entire production.
Very articulate pilots. Thank you.
Great explanation from the flight captain for the parts of the plane, thanks to him
Best flight deck video I have seen! Thank you.
Thank you for a great video. Two very professional pilots. I will definitely fly with this airline.
That was wonderful. Completely professional bringing this beautiful bird home.
Thank you very much!
Detailed explanations about the aircraft as well as the procedures. Great video.
What a nice video. What a beautiful aircraft, too. I have not been on one yet, but look forward to it.
These guys are ASMR pilot experts. Very Chill....
What a fantastic video. Their professionalism, the fantastic camera angles, the pilots clear and concise information delivered in a timely manner, once again, fantastic.
When I saw this video I felt like flying in this flight, this Airbus is brand new, thanks to all those who made this video possible, thanks Captains
Very professionally job done!I will fly with Gerhard and Paul any where in the word .
Gerhard, what a really nice fella he is :)))
Great video, excellent and informative crew. Perhaps the best pre-flight walk around ever.
Wish Air Baltic would start ops on US east coast!
Absolutely loved this video and the Air Baltic flight crew as well. Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely love this aircraft and the great company operating :)
I fly so much for work, during lockdown i used youtube videos as white noise to sleep 😅. Great video, amazing to see professionals working.
super cool...love the livery of the airline and totally in love with the CS300/A220..
Best flight deck in commercial aviation!
Great video. Some points to ponder;

That's why pilots are offended when its referred to as a joy stick instead. No yoke.
Very nicely done, thank you! Completely agree on the fact that you should have a full tank on delivery (of your car!)
Makes me want to fly for Air Baltic! Loved the hand flying IMC in a beautiful aircraft.
Looking forward to flying on an A-220
i like the both of them...so friendly...
I really enjoyed this video guys, thank you! I'm talking and encouraging my oldest Son (Finn) about the potential of being a professional airline pilot, videos like this helps insights. Great work!
Been to Riga and Vilnius. Lovely cities especially the old towns.
Superb,...reminds me of my mentor- retired dad capt mike wakeford ex 747 300 fleet.
its hard to choose between A220 and E-2... But the A220 looks more gorgeous. The Canadians made a completely new plane from their previous flagships
Cheers from CYMX ATC Tower! it's always a pleasure to see you pick up your new planes and fly home :P
I get a kick out of the safety vests the pilots wear while walking out to the jet at 14:40 and on. One says A220-300, while the other says CS300, proudly recalling the C-series designation.
when the copilot is the real boss in the pilots department...
This is one of the best air clips videos i've watched! What a great airliner is this A220-300. Waiting for some action with E195E2. Best wishes!
I just whatched the whole 2h video and the ending just almost made me emotional! Very professional crew. And shoutout to Gerhard as well. :)
Thank you ! Nice video!
Hello Paulo how are you doing. Wish you a nice weekend.
Awesome video, the Air Baltic crew is terrific!
No one would ever believe such a small craft could now cross the ocean in a 737 or an A220.
chilled professionell lovely crew and nice video cut. thank you thank you airclips👍👍👍
Thank you very guys to share this wonderful and very professional expérience. I watched the video from the beginning to the end. This is a wonderful aircraft.
Very interesting. Thanks for the video. I have flown once to Latvia with Air Baltic and they were excellent.
Another excellent video with a very calm professional flight crew. Technical explanations superb, very clear and concise.
extremely talented and highly capable pilots and company reps! thanks for sharing!
Excellent professional pilots.
Bypass ratio 12:1? Very high! Incredible. It´s very quiet APU running. I never seen it before. I´ll continue watching this video.
Excellent film. Very insightful
Nice looking cockpit for sure. Up there with the 787 series.
AWSOME!!!!! Thank you gentlemen for the experience!!!
Consummate professionals. Really do enjoy every minute of this video. Kudos to Air Baltic for stepping up to be the launch customer for this aircraft type.
Excellent video and editing. Great audio and commentary. Lovely airplane with loads of space in the cockpit. Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely fascinating content by these pilots and good camera work. Hello from London, England : - )
Such a beautiful plane, love the cockpit
Great video, thank you. Best of luck YLAAR and all who fly in her!
Excellent video and commentary. Great insight into the effort that goes behind a delivery flight. I can’t wait to fly the A220/C-Series one day.
