*SIZE AND COMPLEXITY OF A PLANE SHOULD HAVE MORE THAN TWO PEOPLE FLYING THE PLANE. PLUS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SOULS ONBOARD. AFTER WATCHING ALL THE CRASH VIDEOS ON RUclips*
i have flown on numerous airlines all around the world. However, i point out that SAS is and has always been absolutely wonderful in their flight crews and over all experience. Love the Scandinavian people!
You can't have flown SK long-haul lately. Miserable quality of service in Economy: one free drink (no alcohol) served 30 minutes before your meal. 8-12hrs with one soda. Some of the most sour cabin crew I've met on any trans-Atlantic flight.
@@jameslovestokyoMy last flight over the Atlantic with SAS, they gave me countless beers when I asked. I think I had 6 during the course of the flight. They had no issue with it.
It is truly mind boggling the amount of knowledge that has to go right in order to make this 223 tons baby stay 7 miles above in an extreme environment for hours successfully, needless to mention carrying hundreds of humans inside it. I am even skipping the part that there are thousands of these in the air at a given time. As far as 340, 380 and 747 are concerned, enjoy four engines as they are not gonna last for long.
Yes, this must be a recycled video because Björn Pilot was probably forced to resign (fired) by SAS due to the youtube videos he posted where he filmed from the cockpit. So SAS thought it was idiotic to get free advertising that showed how professional their pilots are.
@@patweinberg4517No, this is true. BjornPilot even confirmed it himself on his socials. He more or less resigned due to SAS not budging on their policies. Remember that airlines have different rules and policies so what someone at a different airline does is irrelevant.
Even though the video posted 2 months ago, This plane was decommissioned in 2019 I believe. It would be great if we know @ dates of flights....at least the year. Just Planes by far the best educationist flights. Keep up. Over.
Very enjoyable video! Must say that the music at the end was wonderful. Music is magical, it adds a very large dimension of magic and emotion to the video. Thanks!
@@CaptainSazzmanYes it is true. He was not fired. He resigned by himself and then retired. You can Google it to check the facts. What is true is that Sas forbid him to continue record and upload social media
Airport conditions, weight of fuel needed. Cargo weights, number of passengers based on an average weight per passenger. Supplies for meals, soaps, water storage as well as an estimated weight for waste. There might be more items I may not have covered.
The co-pilot, first officer.....Is he really a captain too because of the big plane and long travel? I ask cause he is kind of old and still a first officer/co-pilot?
Was on this flight once or twice in the 2010's; still remember the on-board camera streaming of the tires hitting the runway where there were many streak marks. Sorry to see the A343 gone while LH continues to fly their A346s. I wonder if SAS also has their lavatories in the "basement"

*WHAT IS YOUR FAVORIT PLANE TO FLY?*
*DO YOU PREFER FLYING AN AIRBUS OR A BOEING OR A DC?*
The hand-drawn sketch of the sinking Titanic on the Atlantic crossing chart had me 🤣! 💙✈
Came here to say that too 🤣 So good.
What time was that? I missed that.

WOW.....Bjornpilot ❤✈!!!!! Thanks for posting JP and team 👍👍 Anyway......great pilots 💕 great flight!!!! Many greetings 🇳🇱🇺🇸 Xx............
Beautiful movie! Great Crew! Great plane! Just a pleasure to watch this!

Enjoyed hearing about the Stewart. Good flight.
very good crew discription of the flight. the best Ive seen..thanks
Video is an hour and forty minutes. I assumed half of that would be the take-off run with the famous A340 hairdryers for engines.
Har, har, every time. Did you miss the bit where the captain said it can fly 14 hours with a heavy load?
The A340 uses 4 hairdryers and the curvature of the earth for takeoff.

I doubt that this is true. For example, Guillaume Laffon makes these for Air France, and there are others.
These flights are usually very old. This one is from 2013.
@@patweinberg4517 do you think, that such videos was not agreed with company?
Bjorn really dissapeared from online :( his professionalism was literally iconic. Unfortunetally this happens almoust everywhere...

Thank you very much 🙏🙏
Pretty view clouds ,sunrise. Land.
IAD is the airport code for Washington Dulles International Airport, formerly DIA from 1962-1968
Last A340 flight by SAS was in 2020.
This was in 2014 or prior, the flight data said "valid until 2014" meaning it would be early 2014 or earlier.
The OFP says, Flight Date was June 1. 2014@@dubai_operator9250
the paper with the fuel data listed the flight's departure as 01JUN14
My dude just literally spotted Queen Mary 2 in Stavanger, the last ocean-liner built. Thats awesome!

How many years ago was this filmed because it is not recently because there is gates in Copenhagen that no longer exist

Is that Bjornpilot?
Yes it sure is!
is old video from 2014 .. he got fired because he made videos from cockpit many years ago .. really shame .. loved his channel
@@64sunda where is that information coming from?
Tailwinds force plane forward faster so takeoff may be quicker than planned do b1 vould be altered.
Are these recycled videos and not live flights? SAS has not flown A340 to Dulles in a long time.
an old video because the captain are retired
@@OKZZ320 not true. The captain got fired.
And the Aeroflot plane parked at the gate suggests the video was taken at least prior to February 2022.

The announcement of the refurbished interior, Aeroflot and ACA 767 suggests this is in 2014. I know CPH By heart.
"negative on the climb gradient" 🙂
42:02 why is that a ship sinking on the charts?
Why is v1 on the calculation not a set number but a variable ?

Can you fly a 340 under the Öresund bridge?

Love his videos!
only 2 pilots for more than 8 hs of flight?
When SAS leaves the Star Aliiance it is no longer an option to fly with.
🇮🇳💖🌹😃 hello hay aap log kaise hain Good night 🌃🌃🌃🌃
Believe the pilot in this video is retired, he provided the absolute best videos..

You should do a video on ANA A380 flight deck video and a Korean Air A380 flight deck video
Welcome back to youtube Björn

SAS is OK similar to most European carriers but they fall down on two fronts against the Asian carriers 1.the food and 2.Pretty young Asian girls
For me too many numbers, switches, light bulbs, voices... respect!
They are wearing the old uniforms and the cabin interior is the old one.
love to see bjorn
Depends on weight, runway length , speed. Slight variences. V1.
The A-340 was retired in 2020.....
Nå - det er jer der der lamer af hvælvet til når i tager på arbejde og kommer hjem ??
*GREAT VIDEO AND COMMENTARY*
this is not a new video, correct? I saw a russian plane in the background.
SAS hasn't flown A340s commercially for at least 4 years
Awesome 👍
SAS is a crappy company. KLM and Lufthansa is much better.
