    I've always boiled my water with my cinnamon sticks in it to draw it all out, but can see how with other teas you can just add to already hot water.
    I like the idea of adding the bay leaves, and am also going to try with some cloves.
    I've been having respritory issues as of late and have "discovered" the additional benefits of bay leaves, and cloves to my cinnamon tea, which I've used also as a vapor inhaler with the towel great info, thank you.

    If you let the water cool, why boil it?

    • @Foods4Health
      @Foods4Health  2 года назад +1

      That way once you let it cool for 10 minutes it will still be very warm (tea), and you won't have to boil the ingredients for up to 10 minutes either as explained in the video, compromising its important compounds. You could also "warm", "heat", "let simmer", "get hot" before as well, but "boiling/boil" is generally the preferred term in most recipes.
      Thank you and appreciate you watching Tim!

      When I was young my mom told me a joke about how Americans make tea-boil it to make it hot, add ice to cool it; use sugar to sweeten it, and lemon to flavor it. Crazy huh?🤷🏽‍♀️☺️
