Jay has no idea how many guys he's helping out with these detailed workouts. The pain in the gym is more endurable for me knowing that I'm doing Jay's workout. Thank you brother. The sharing is greatly appreciated.
I’m not sure why, but I haven’t watched Jay’s videos for quite some time. This video makes me feel like I’m back in the past; everything feels the same, just as familiar as before. I really miss it. Keep going, Mr. Cutler!
I did this exact routine for my shoulders this morning. Never saw this until now, but I've watched Jay's DVDs since the early 2000s and trained at the same Golds gyms he did. I remember the energy and fun we had anticipating Jay beating Ronnie every year! I'd see him train in person and was in awe. We're the same age and still getting after it.
Some things I love about this video: • More in-depth info on a full workout session. • Explaining the goals of each exercise. • No music to easily discern what Jay's saying. • Showing different facilities with somewhat different equipment(as you often do). The only thing it could use is chapters being established in the video to separate exercises, but the video already had a lot of work involved so that's very understandable.
Great intro! I paused mid way through, got my ass to the gym for an intense 3 hour session, and now I' m back to finish the video. Thanks for the inspiration Cut Man!
Keep em coming jay because of you my rear delts have strongly developed my striations and fibers are getting crazy. Now I train others and give back some of the knowledge I learned from jaycutletv
I do similar on a different hammer strength shoulder press machine. I do it standing in the reverse position with my thighs resting against the seat pad so it turns it into a Viking press. Feels so much better than its intended use
When you asked what was your best body part I agree with Jenn, those shoulders were virtually unmatched, to your point though the legs are still there in all freaky glory, they just don't give up.
Always a great share Jay! You will find that your strength is still hanging in there until your mid to late fifties. The body composition and cellular volume really drop off after 60 as does the strutural integrity. Keep rocking it and being an awesome role model for so many fitness fanatics 💪
What’s different is the champ is showing us .Bring it Jay I’m all ears Thanks for the video. I can check out the gym when I’m in Florida. I was at the in and out Berger in spring 2021 . Good food there.
100% on recovery aspects! LISTEN to your body; if your body tells you to rest more...REST. IF you are not as energy-filled, eat nutritious food and allow the body to use that food.
Always a pleasure to watch the Great Jay Cutler's shows, and it's Amazing how much he's evolved as a human being and public figure in just a few short years -from being an Totally devoted Master of his craft , a "Machine" (literally, I´ve watched his training videos from the competitive time😨😅 ) to now also being a brilliant television host and entertainer! 🤩👍👍
Jay, two things. First, my favorite way to do shoulder presses is exactly what you demonstrated facing the opposite way on the hammer machine. It feels so much better on my shoulders, then the standard way. Second, always love when you reminisce and just to say it again, I was so stoked when I got to meet you at the firehouse when you were walking out after a post workout meal back in our respective youths. Oh, to be in our 20s again!
That T-shirt makes you look GREAT! I love the training feature videos every week idea! Now that I see the shorts. Are these from your line?! Look perfect for cardio for me .... and sexy design! Man, Jay you have been into fitness fashion for sooo many years - you're really good at dressing now. and you managed to keep your chin/neck after retiring. You're legit looking good - not only feel good like you said. Checked the cutler shop - they are not on there. Must be from a local store. You are the real drip master. Also shutting off the music in the gym for the video is such a nice move. The fans love you more every week I think. 17:40 - yes! And they are actually visible now. As a natty - if you can get any muscle to actually stick out from the silhouette is a HUGE win. My rear delts are "too big" but as a natty that I will take any muscle I can get! I am still smol. But I carried some logs today and rested them on front delts - and for the first time there was a supportive muscle pad there! I carried stuff on my shoulders before - it was always skin on bone even when I was fat.
Love the videos Jay!!! As a trainer I always tell my clients go by feel when needed. Constant tension is great to have but if you ever lose your mind to muscle connection always reset and go by feel!!! Looking great Jay!!! 💪💪🦵🦵
Could you do a series that targets each muscle with dumbbells and barbell for people who can’t hit the gym or doesn’t have access to machines yet want to grow muscle through dumbbell and barbell work?
Jay & Dave . Great content as usual. I’ve had Achilles reconstructive surgery so gym training is limited to upper body machines to train safely. Any tips on keeping positive & active from injuries? Thanks again for the Channel. Robin in UK 🇬🇧
Jay wait to you hit 65 where I am now and the biggest thing is the Joints for sure. I take creatin 2 scoops daily and everyone should take this. Jay did you ever try Ephedrine.
Id prefer if gyms didn't play any music. Most everyone has their own music anyway and myself sometimes i just want no music, just the sound of the weights or machine
I dont know if anyone can help me But im a fat guy who has been going to the gym to start getting my but into gear.. i was diagnosed with diastasis recti which is a problem and i dont know what sort of excersizes i can do to try and sort of heal it over time.. anyone got any tips to try and help pull my abs and the issue back into place?
I love it. Jay walks into the gym: can we cut the music while I film? The gym: for you, of course. It's good to be a God I love your content, at 45 I'm getting into weight lifting, and I'm learning a lot. Thank you.
After 41 my joints pretty much hurt all the time. It sucks. Yes, i take glucosamine, cissus, fish oil, d3. Doesn't help. Elbows mostly are the worst. Knees are fine.
@@MarkLane-r5n been training since 13 years old. Always tried to have good form and not be stupid, but i go heavy here and there. Maintained 230 lean at 5"10 for years never took gear. Creatine really all i ever took. 215 not as lean the past year or so elbows demotivating me. Pull ups which never hurt before really suck now. The tendons in my biceps hurt as well.
43 had my colonoscopy n a biopsy last year at 42. It was necessary it wasn’t too bad didn’t take long 15mins was awake the whole time the sedatives etc didn’t kick in till after n I passed out for 2hrs after. I was gonna go train but got told not to & I found I was Bloody drowsy n staggering so that was shame
Thanks for cutting the music out. Much better watching without having to keep turning the volume off and back on. Maybe if it was metal I could have left the volume up though.
Every time I tell my gym to turn the music off, they just give me a weird look. Not because I’m blogging, I just don’t like the music. Perks of being Mr. O 😎
That's a great one, don't worry about repeating, like a good politician repeating will sink it in eventually... I just have to watch I don't flip off me chair trying to write sh.. down~

Love this content Jay. Cable laterals behind the body.. it's like a cut above 25 years on
JAY You are a true example and reference for all of us! Please continue giving us more advice on longevity! Thank you in advance!

The best thing in this video is the dude in the background reracking 10 or so plates. Real MVP right there.
It’s the rerack workout 😂 post exhaust 😅
@@TommyWrenn we’re here the lift weights for dates. Why people skip half the workout is beyond me.

Near the end, it would have been great to have "Glory Days" by Bruce Springsteen. There's a lot of discussion about yesteryear.
Are we doing the j challenge the bill shoulders now. Let's do this
Jay I remember when You came and guess post 3 times at the fres. No, you looked awesome with your gorilla shoulders.
Has Jay ever tried going to Next Level Fitness LV in Henderson- another bodybuilding style gym but more low key?
Jay looking good. Seems like you’re getting leaner. Lfg. Fits good in your age.
Interesting curious why the isolateral reverse shoulder press vs a standard seated should press machine
Id prefer if gyms didn't play any music. Most everyone has their own music anyway and myself sometimes i just want no music, just the sound of the weights or machine
I maintain it’s for the people who work there
At least better music than the pop tart shit. I want harder music when Im working out.

Jay Frank Zane no meat😂 ! Ha!
The funniest memory was Jay posing his ass to the fridge light
