Some guys just don't know how lucky they are to be in the same gym has these two absolute legends. I would stop my workout and just stay there, watching and trying to assimilate the most information I could.
theres nothing to learn, nothing jay is saying is groundbreaking or even interesting, and i dont understand why eddie is pretending he doesnt know that bodybuilding is about higher reps, shorter rest periods, lots of volume and mind muscle connection. add that to god like genetics and a boat load of gear and youve got a mr olympia.
I've been involved in bodybuilding and powerlifting for 51 years, managed gyms, and met and talked with many of the greats. Trust me when I say there is nothing new here to be learned, it's all just the same recycled exercises and techniques that have been around since the dawn of time.
i like this new journey Eddie is on. But i wish he would implement what someone like JC tells him. It still looked like Eddie was in "move the heavy weight quickly" mode much of the time, instead of move the lighter weight more slowly in a more difficult manner to exhaust the muscle. For instance, he wasn't moving the weight forward on the bent over dumbbell row like Jay said. Eddie's power and mindset are actually a slight hindrance at times. Still great content though.
the best thing about these videos is Eddie personality really, he's so down to earth you can go dirty jokes and banter like with your mates. Top bloke!
I find the use of straps very insightful as I have found that my forearms actually fatigue much faster than my lats on pull-down and even rowing movements, they get so pumped that it hurts and it really effects my top set
in my beginning times i did not really had muscle mind connection while training biceps so i ended up training more my forearms. what really helped was lowering the weights and focus on maximum control, stopping at the highest point and try to max contract the biceps at that point. after several weeks it was better and i can now really feel my biceps while training. mayby you have a similar problem with the lat
How humble is jay Cutler!..... one of the greatest bodybuilders to walk the earth and he has zero arrogance, walks and talks like your average joe. What an absolute legend!👊

I love the contrast between the two disciplines. Strong man is like how can I use my body to move the weight. Where as body building it's more like how can I use this weight to move my body. Very interesting stuff, keep up the good work!
This was incredibly informative and overall helpful to anyone looking to build independently. I really enjoyed this video! Eddie, you’re always an inspiration- you working out with Jay Cutler is NEXT LEVEL!! You both have done incredible things in the gym! Thank you BOTH for being such powerful and bright advocates for lifting and life!
1:13 look at Eddie's proud and self satisfied face when Jay said "your the man "
You're *
Two world class champions who are humbled by one another. Legends.
Jay is such a class act! A humble and kind behemoth!!! That was really cool
Get out of here
Some guys just don't know how lucky they are to be in the same gym has these two absolute legends. I would stop my workout and just stay there, watching and trying to assimilate the most information I could.
Looks like half the gym did exactly that, tbh it's a bit weird I think lol
Its not weird, many people wish to be in that situation lol
theres nothing to learn, nothing jay is saying is groundbreaking or even interesting, and i dont understand why eddie is pretending he doesnt know that bodybuilding is about higher reps, shorter rest periods, lots of volume and mind muscle connection. add that to god like genetics and a boat load of gear and youve got a mr olympia.
I've been involved in bodybuilding and powerlifting for 51 years, managed gyms, and met and talked with many of the greats. Trust me when I say there is nothing new here to be learned, it's all just the same recycled exercises and techniques that have been around since the dawn of time.
If i was them i would have for sure picked a less crowded gym lol, or a private gym
I love Jay's facial expression when Eddie says he's going to GAIN weight.
i like this new journey Eddie is on.
Old habits die hard.
the best thing about these videos is Eddie personality really, he's so down to earth you can go dirty jokes and banter like with your mates. Top bloke!
I think Jay must've been an inspiration/hero to Eddie, I literally have only seen Eddie give this kind of respect to Arnie and no one else
These side by side make each other look like a normal size it’s crazy
Finally somebody actually putting Eddie through some bodybuilding training
I can't!!!! Jay Cutler is my HERO!!!! Jay Cutler is the absolute GOAT he put on absolute perfection in the early 2000's before the Bubble Guts.
Why are there so many bubble guts now?
Really liked how serious you were when training with an absolute legend.
I love listening to Jay, what an honour to train with him. And he’s still in fantastic shape 🐐
Good damn I love Jay! Always been my favorite body builder! Growing up his pic from a magazine was in my weight room to motivate me!
Love the bodybuilding videos Eddie there so entertaining and the guest are awesome
Happy early 50 Jay Cutler! Been a big fan since the early 2000's. Keep on grinding!
How humble is jay Cutler!..... one of the greatest bodybuilders to walk the earth and he has zero arrogance, walks and talks like your average joe. What an absolute legend!👊
Watching Eddie vs Jay on those dumbbell lifts makes me realize how much of a difference form makes and how important it is to have a friend, trainer, or mirror to really see it.
Jay turns up the gym everybody just gathers round & watches, magnetized by his aura. Like satellites around a galaxy. They're being very respectful & not crowding in on him. But, you can see, they cannot look away
Jay like Yates was blessed with crazy genetics.! .... Jay has orange peel now and will soon shrink down just like Yates did.,
#
@@Old-Skool285 Orange peel haha! What's that, cellulite? Good that Dorian shrunk down though & changed his approach to fitness. If he'd tried to carry on into old age doing things the way he used to he'd probably be like ronnie coleman, or dead. Dorian looks healthy for sure
Forget Larry " the grim reaper " wheels - this is a phenomenal collab. Hopefully we get one with Terry Hollands soon as his transformation was legendary 💪💪
Y did he remove the vid with Larry wheels
Why did he take it down? They beefing again?
Shit boys I had no idea the vid had gone ? 👀
Two legends but Jay couldn't get over Eddies strength and did everything he could to be humble and pretend not to be impressed, Great video Eddie.
Love how humble Eddie is and how complimentary Jay is. Two ledgends coming together. Awesome videos.
You can see how much it meant to Eddie to train with Jay he really does admire him and respect him immensely. We all love to see the joking and funny Eddie, but he seemed just star struck to be there with Jay Cuter.
What’s most impressive and gives me hope is how alive and well Jay Cutler is after so many Mr Olympia titles and the most insane physique ever achieved
Also as an ex powerlifter myself it’s really tricky to switch from heavy weight training to low weight tons of reps with the proper contraction and pump
Jay was always big on injury avoidance. He got through his career pretty clean.
@@daveco1st I was referring to 10+ anabolic compounds he was on for such a long time. Damage to Liver, Kidneys enlarged heart and increased blood pressure and all the mental side effects
This is bloody fantastic!!!!! 👍🏻
this may be the best representation of Eddie I've ever seen. Knew he was kind and humble as this, but it's lovely to see.
Jay is arguably the coolest dude in the strength and fitness sphere. Chill. Humble. Knowledgeable.
