      Big size, large hips, stable on the ground.

      Something I noticed from this video is not just how damn big he is and how much muscle he has but how well he moves with it. He doesn't seem tired at all. Not doubting his skill but his size nimbleness sure would help vs Jon Jones even if his reach is lower. Still wish they would remove heavyweight weight limit in UFC.

      @@ChoJun69 Yeah it will probably be the 2nd fight because Jones only wants to fight a retired fighter and then never defend and retire himself. Meanwhile, Tom will be fed a lower ranked fighter just to keep him active despite him being more deserving than anyone of the HW title shot.

    Dude, I've trained BJJ for 15 years now, and I can tell you that, for as great a fighter as Tom is, he's going to be an even better coach when his fighting days are over. The way he was explaining things was really great. Seems like a legit nice guy as well. Credit to everyone involved in the video.

      Mate iam 41yr and wanting to get involved in martial art , there is a BJJ club close by , 15 years is long time so at my age novice but in shape go gym etc a good starter

      @@nltkb1 Hey man. My advice is to give it a while before deciding if it's for you. I don't care how in shape you are, nothing conditions you for BJJ like BJJ does. It's going to be hard. at first You're going to lose. A lot. Don't worry wins and losses or whether your cardio is good enough. Worry about how you feel after class. If you feel like you're exhausted but you can't wait to get back the next day, it's for you. Black belts are just white belts that never got tired of failing. Good luck man!

    This is the most wholesome combat flick I've ever seen. Class act and entertainment by both men, without effort. Tom didn't mention his only loss was by injury, that alone is other worldly. Hall didn't boast about all his records and accolades. Just 2 men getting down and becoming better friends in a combat sense and learning from each other. Tom being more the teacher lol but still. Class act. How could you not support and respect both of these men? Sheesh such prime examples of good humans. We need more Tom's and Eddie's in this world.

    Tom is 100% going to be UFC heavyweight champion in my opinion. He has the most rounded skill set and is super fast for a heavyweight. I'm not even being bias because I'm English, but he honestly could go on to be the heavyweight GOAT. Such a nice chap as well so Eddie might not have quite realised, you could lock Tom in a cage with pretty much any man on the planet and he could literally kill them within 3 minutes.

      I genuinely think non Americans should be dominating MMA Heavyweight division because athletically gifted big guys in the US will always be funneled into Basketball and Football.
      I know the UK has Rugby. But a guy Tom's size would have to play lock, and Rugby Locks are better if they're light on their feet.
      Rugby requires stamina and isn't optimized for huge, big boned athletes like American Football does.

      I said yes to a thigh leg kick. It was like in between golf club to the head or knee on trailer hitch levels of pain. Decent bruise. You must check kicks. You can't just eat them.

    Tom is such an amazing teacher, can imagine he's learnt it from his dad but the way he explains things in a couple of sentences, no over complex terms or being too fast and presumptuous with Eddie's understanding. Can tell he's gonna be a champ, so so intelligent.

    Thanks for the video Eddie👍Tom's point on "A lot of guys are great at being the hammer but they're crap at being the nail" was one of the best things that I've ever heard from a fighter that I can relate to. Growing up with a brother 10yrs senior than me and the amount of fights and beating that I got from him when I was a kid-teen later on made me to never have a fear against anybody no matter how big they are. Being "nail" sucks, but for sure will train you and give you a life lesson to never give up when you're getting hammered

      Jon Jones will crap his drawers even talking about fighting Tom. Gane has el-zilcho grappling exp, so it was setup for Jones to have an easy win, all he had to do was close the distance. Tom is a superb grappler. Jones avoids these guys. but wants to be called the heavyweight GOAT.

      honestly one of the most exciting up and coming mma fighters esepcially coming out of the uk was a shame about his injury against blaydes i'm pretty confident he could've won that fight and still been undefated in the ufc, would've been a tough fight though

      Hits like a heavyweight but moves like a middleweight, and is elite with the ground game. Unlucky he got injured in the Blaydes fight, but might’ve been good in the long run seeing as it forced him to get his knee fixed. Hope nothing but the best for him.

    Tom is exceptionally fast for a heavyweight. Won't be surprised if he's champion soon. His only loss in the UFC was an unlucky injury.

      Humble, not always, I saw him claiming he hit 6 to 8 times harder than pro heavyweight boxers. Put me off his vids for 6 months as it was such BS i could not cope with a follow up serving. Watched the Javelin etc and he was claiming distances he did not do, i do not like to see people especially world champs diminish what other champions have achieved.

    Most of the time when someone that looks like Eddie walks into the gym for the first time you know it's going to be a rough day. They'll come in just trying to muscle everything, get butt hurt that they can't just have their way with people and then try to hurt you when you're just showing them how to apply an arm lock. Seeing Eddie's humility and the awareness of his size and strength with the care that he uses when applying the guillotine just demonstrates what a good guy he is. You can see that he isn't trying to prove anything to anybody. He's just trying to learn the technique and get it right.

    Watching Eddie really apply and see the skill involved with the big boys throwing hands was great to see. I would love to see the strongman community, in the gym, learning the art of the fight and who knows. The heavy weight division could actually explode with the right fighters and trainers

He's done gymnastics moves, Ninja Warrior obstacles and other things that a guy his size shouldn't be able to do. There's people 1/3 of his size that aren't able to do those things. It's not about the numbers on the scale. It's about the size of the heart within. Think about it.

      Brian has been trained by Dustin Poirier back in 2021. He learnt some kinda of Walrus move. Where Shaw will lay on top of you, until you tap out from his weight crushing down on you. Regardless of who or how well you train Eddie and Shaw... in the end their just going to forget it and resort to chest bumping each other.

    love the experiment of WSM vs thing that isn’t WSM that Eddie has been displaying with these videos. Interesting to see how a freakishly strong man fairs against things most of us (including himself) don’t have much knowledge about, it really shows that technique and mastery of a craft is not necessarily something that can be brute forced, not even from brute forciest guy around.
