I have experienced this so many times with interviews! I can knock it out of the park with recruiters and get moved on to speak to the hiring manager and I’ll sense this feeling that they are intimidated by my work experience, and the fact that I am young. They will even voice these things in subtle ways. I’ve learned to go with my instincts, I can almost tell when the manager feels a way about me in the interview and by then, I’ve already decided I don’t want the job anyway. There’ll be someone out there who will see your drive and see it as useful and not a threat to their position.
I just failed the panel interview and depressed myself. I really don’t know how they can find my values through panel interview where they just bombed me with non sense behavioral questions and needed examples on the fly. What a BS…and some members were rude…though I was too nervous to perform well but I feel very bad
Thank you so much Ginny for explaining the processes and rejection. I been to so many interviews in the past 12 months...often getting to the second and sometimes third round and still not being offered any position. You're right rejection is hard and it can wear on you. But like you said try not to take in personal. Thank you!
Thank you Ginny! Completely on point! Hoping for good news this week after being laid off with a company I have given nearly 23 years to. I’ve been struggling with all the applications and rejection so I will definitely be listening to your video again either way! Fingers crossed for a happy response this week!
Great video as I accidently landed on your channel! So much information and knowledge you have to offer your audience and your integrity is 2nd to none. Thank you!
Wow just wowww this is SO on POINT!!! 🎯💯 #6 was beautifully explained.. THANK YOU for this video. The hiring manager got stumped tongue tied and was an inexperienced interviewer. I have 30 years in the health care field. I am compassionate, experienced, was professional, courteous and very humble.
Thank you so much for sharing this. This was truly eye-opening. There were a few points that you mentioned that I had not thought of. Your insight and clarity have been a huge help to me. I really appreciate you!!
Thank you for sharing this. ❤💯 I have experienced a number of these points in my journey. And I can't thank you enough for offering a different perspective. I'm truly thankful for the bullets I have dodged, simply by not receiving the offer. Many🙏🏾🙌🏾 many thanks❤
Thank you Ginny. Your insight on this topic has been very helpful. I recently just experienced this scenario. Every thing you shared makes sense. Appreciate you!
On target! Nepotism is a significant issue. It could be better for interviewees nowadays. I agree with the statement I've included. "I believe everything happens for a reason. Learn from rejections and move on to an organization that values the competencies and attributes one brings." Remember: Neely Fuller Jr. remains us. Look up one of his famous quotes to assist with the context we must consider. 🤔
Very painful, my own team rejected me for the position. Just clear that the same team don’t believe in my capacity. I know when I step up to the interview, I was already judged. But I still threw myself out there. And finally, to be informed that I am rejected.. 😢 oh well
I have had some ridiculous interviews 🙄 they could not even explain what they needed or wanted me to do as a Registered Dietician-Nutritionist . They also did not know who the position they were interviewing for would report to. I am sick and tired of the arrogance of these companies and interviewers!
I thank God for every rejection.
Yes ma’am. You have to know something better is being created JUST FOR YOU!
yeaaap

Hard to hear but true.
"You're just too good" is probably 80% of rejections. Proof of way too much incompetence in management.
That stupid interview question of did u ever disagree or have a disagreement and how did you Handel it
