Before you speak your truth know yourself. People perceive what they perceive. My nature is not a deficiency. You are an oasis in a desert 🏜 of despair. I will listen to this again and again. Righteous conviction. Wow.
Insightful, important reminder!
Thank you 🙏🏽..I needed to get affirmation on this..Iv been fortunate to read my colleagues well and have learnt that speaking up also requires knowing in which setting to raise a matter. Often works well when your also self aware to avoid misunderstanding and ensure the message is heard.
This is so helpful and insightful!
… When you do speak up people judge you, don’t believe you and some try and make you look like you are a crazy person. When assaults, threats and bullying happens in a workplace nobody wants to know about it, deal with it and then they try and push you out.
When you need someone’s help and to back you up instead you find out that you are “the problem”.
We all know how hard it is to prove those things …
This!
