Hitler shaped a battered Germany into an economic superpower.
But war never changes.
In the 21st century, war was still waged over the resources that could be acquired. Only this time, the spoils of war were also its weapons: Petroleum and Uranium. For these resources, China would invade Alaska, the US would annex Canada, and the European Commonwealth would dissolve into quarreling, bickering nation-states, bent on controlling the last remaining resources on Earth.
In 2077, the storm of world war had come again. In two brief hours, most of the planet was reduced to cinders. And from the ashes of nuclear devastation, a new civilization would struggle to arise.
A few were able to reach the relative safety of the large underground Vaults. Your family was part of that group that entered Vault Thirteen. Imprisoned safely behind the large Vault door, under a mountain of stone, a generation has lived without knowledge of the outside world.
Life in the Vault is about to change.
War. War never changes.
The end of the world occurred pretty much as we had predicted. Too many humans, not enough space or resources to go around. The details are trivial and pointless, the reasons, as always, purely human ones.
The earth was nearly wiped clean of life. A great cleansing, an atomic spark struck by human hands, quickly raged out of control. Spears of nuclear fire rained from the skies. Continents were swallowed in flames and fell beneath the boiling oceans. Humanity was almost extinguished, their spirits becoming part of the background radiation that blanketed the earth.
A quiet darkness fell across the planet, lasting many years. Few survived the devastation. Some had been fortunate enough to reach safety, taking shelter in great underground vaults. When the great darkness passed, these vaults opened, and their inhabitants emerged to begin their lives again.
One of the northern tribes claims they are descended from one such Vault. They hold that their founder and ancestor, one known as the "Vault Dweller," once saved the world from a great evil. According to their legend, this evil arose in the far south. It corrupted all it touched, twisting men inside, turning them into beasts. Only through the bravery of this Vault Dweller was the evil destroyed. But in so doing, he lost many of his friends and suffered greatly, sacrificing much of himself to save the world.
When at last he returned to the home he had fought so hard to protect, he was cast out. Exiled. In confronting that which they feared, he had become something else in their eyes...and no longer their champion.
Forsaken by his people, he strode into the wasteland. He traveled far to the north, until he came to the great canyons. There, he founded a small village, Arroyo, where he lived out the rest of his years. And so, for a generation since its founding, Arroyo has lived in peace, its canyons sheltering it from the outside world. It is home. Your home.

- Con Canadians out of their life savings by only giving 1 USD per 800 CAD, making Canadians have to rely more on the U.S. and possibly generating profits for America
- Convince the public that this is not an effort made to gain an advantage on Russia or China, as well as make it seem like a positive change for the country
Or even
- Dramatize a smaller problem in order to generate hate for the Canadian government
It really gets you thinking, especially with how dystopian the U.S. government acts here with assimilation and forced destruction of culture
This basically happened to Newfoundland, they were well on their way to independence in the 20s/30s as a dominion of the UK, but their economy was wrecked in the depression and they were forced by circumstances to rejoin the UK (and eventually Canada)

I like the conversion rate $1 USD to $839 CAD. Since it's $1 to $1.35 right now this indicates a major collapse of the Canadian economy (which would explain their being open to being annexed as a way to resolve issues, assuming the US is very stable and strong in 2039. And given the very independent streak of those in Quebec, only such a major collapse would budge them in such a direction. Things would have to be very very bad for them to consider this and accept it in anyway. And then as the video goes on this shows up with the 76% gdp decline. Very well thought out scenario I congratulate whomever wrote this out.

It was never officially on the ballot, and the British shut down talks quickly. The majority of the province strongly wished to koin Canada thanks to campaigning by people like Joey Smallwood, who appealed to the poor by advertising welfare programs that Canada could offer to try and raise the local standard of living.
Also, this year is the 75th anniversary of NL joining Canada.

I’m thinking it was propaganda, it provides plenty of benefits to the U.S., such as:
- Stealing the life savings of every Canadian through currency conversion, making them rely much more on the U.S. and giving profit for the Americans
- Convincing foreign (excluding Canada) and American citizens that this annexation is done for a reason outside of territorial gain, profit, or getting a one-up on Russia or China, creating less resistance internationally and within the U.S.
- Making uninformed Canadians have a distaste for their government and an unwillingness to fight, giving them the belief that they are in shambles and will be saved
At that point, why tell the truth? The States in this scenario behave extremely like governments in dystopian media do, which is what leads me to believe they also lie for political gain.

As a canadian i would be truely upset that our sovereignty would be given up, my 2 great grandfathers fought in both world wars were 1 out of many that died for the idea and identity of being canadian, i love that we are close the USA but this would be not welcomed by many.

It’s not violating any amendments the military would simply just be entering the former Canadian territory just like there’s US bases spread around the country. Now there would be new bases popping up or repurposing Canadian bases.

Otherwise they would have to ban the language in Louisiana as well. Can you do an EAS of The Flood(Halo)?
Seemingly this may appear to the average person as a form of space zombie entity you could kill and stop, however once you peak into its intricacies you will come quick to the realization that it's an extremely terrifying foe. The Flood is more a biosphere terraforming engine commanded by an hyperintelligent eldrich horror known as the Gravemind. Rather than being a simple meager zombie virus examples being "The Last of us" or "Left for dead" which can be defeated or resisted by Modern day tools, no matter how many individual flood forms you kill they will recycle the dead corpses and at a celluar level corrupt everything it touches beyond recognition.
You can do an EAS where you drop a single flood spore in some niche country and watch as the Flood hijacks an aeroplane and catapulting it into the airspace of the US. Doesn't matter if they manage to shoot it down or not because individual flood cells are resilient to everything but vaporization and being reduced to carbon. I could link a video to give a good example of what this would entail it's an exciting EAS situation in my opinion! Chances of the USA and rest of the World surviving the parasite is nearly zero unless they manage to do nuclear saturation bombardment of ground zero of the outbreak within the first hour or less.
