was pleasantly surprised to hear a jamaican accent + hear my hometown (kingston) brought up here! (the accent was a little off but that’s to be expected with TTS.) 🇯🇲
Even though I was born in Britain, I’m Jamaican! Seeing Jamaica going through an event like this in an EAS was so cool to see! It even made me a little bit emotional thinking about my family having to go through with a situation like this! Loving these, they all have a ridiculous amount of effort and thought put into them! As a suggestion, if you ever decide to do the UK or England again, the details you can include can be things like our counties and the tube or train lines (we have a system here called the TFL that sort of oversees all travel in London and a bit outside of it, they even release warnings when it’s snowing and when storms cause flooding on the tracks or cause a tree to blow over on them or any event like that). Keep doing what you’re doing!
Fun fact: If the sun actually just stopped existing, we wouldnt know for about 8 minutes, since nothing can travel faster than light, not even gravity. So everything would suddenly go dark with no warning. We would go from perfectly fine to apocolyptic scenario in the blink of an eye.
We wouldn't know the Sun disappeared "5 minutes ago" because the light takes 8 minutes to get to Earth. Since information can't travel faster than the speed of light, there's no way for anyone on Earth to know the Sun is gone before the last rays of light hit us.
@@aarnealplayzgames9580 no matter how advanced your technology is, things can't travel faster than the speed of light. If there was a probe by the sun that sent a signal that it went out, that signal could go no faster than light. So it would reach us at the same time as the last light of the sun.
A bit of constructive criticism: At 8:20 it is stated that water is less dense than ice. That is not the case; In-fact ice can be as much as 33% more voluminous than water. Sorry for the Mr.SmartAss moment.
Hey Mr smart-ass, go back and watch the video. They're saying snow is less dense than ice, not water, which is true. Both are frozen water, but a solid cubic inch of ice has a lot more water than a cubic inch of snow. Make sure you're actually right before hitting someone with the old "erm, achktually".
I find it strange how the announcer’s accent in the Emergency Alert in Jamaica goes from Patois/Creole to American by the end of the message. Which is the second time I’ve noticed this happen in one of these scenarios, first in the U.S. annexing Canada scenario, where the Loyalists of Canada’s alert announcer’s accent goes from British to American-sounding and back to British by the end of the alert.
The Cuban voiced sounded weird at the end too. It had a little English accent by the beginning but at the end the accent was really strong. Thought the voice actor gave up at the end but maybe it's an error from the AI?
This scenario is literally impossible EM waves move at the speed of light, so if the early warning detection system found out that the sun disappeared and broadcasted it, it would have taken the same exact time for the signal to reach Earth just at the same moment as we realized there’s no more sunshine lol
2:17 for those who don’t know: Airlines listed: JL = Japan airlines LH = Lufthansa AD = Azul Linhas Aereas AA = American Airlines MM = Peach airlines BA = British Airways VJ = Vietjet air KL = KLM royal dutch airlines AC = Air Canada Cities: Kagoshima, City in Japan Fukuoka, City in Japan Berlin, Capital of Germany Matsuyama, city in Japan New York, city in the U.S. Kumamoto, city in Japan London, Capital of UK Sapporo, City in Japan Ho Chi Minh aka Saigon, City in Vietnam Harbin, City in China Montreal, city in Canada
There are several big errors in this video, like the system being aware the Sun has disappeared while there are still 3 minutes of light left, so there's no way they could've realized yet. Or the Cuban announcement having a thick American accent(especially on the later half), or the part when he mentions "temperatures as severe as 40 degrees celsius", when that's a temperature you'd get in the Sahara desert during Summer. I guess he meant "minus 40 degrees celsius", which is something you could encounter in some parts of Siberia in winter. But nevertheless, it was a nice watch. Well-deserved Like.
What also confused me about the 40 degrees Celsius (despite the fact that it's very hot actually) is that the Emergency Broadcast was from the USA. A country that doesn't really use Celsius but Fahrenheit. 40 degree Fahrenheit would at least be cold (~ 4.44°C), but still not freezing yet.
do you know about ‘made in heaven’? I think it could be a good eas scenario. it is from JoJo’s bizarre adventure and it is time acceleration that effects everything except humans, so time moves much faster and animals move at normal speed for them but very fast for us, and other things happen like food rotting and car crashes. there is a lot of things to mention happening
If the Sun miraculously disappeared, the Earth (and all the other objects in the Solar System) would continue their forward motion in a straight line off into space, instead of following their almost-circular orbits. For the Earth this means it would head off towards the stars at about 30km/s (67,000mph).
Imagine boarding your flight to Berlin in Tokyo Narita and the tv just randomly says that the sun doesn’t exist anymore

WHAT DO MEAN ITS GONE
it’s just gone!!
was pleasantly surprised to hear a jamaican accent + hear my hometown (kingston) brought up here!
I love how this isn't "analog horror" it's just a guy trying to make unique emergencies with alerts.
This is one of the best eas scenarios, keep up the good work!

Fun fact: If the sun actually just stopped existing, we wouldnt know for about 8 minutes, since nothing can travel faster than light, not even gravity. So everything would suddenly go dark with no warning. We would go from perfectly fine to apocolyptic scenario in the blink of an eye.
Hey brother, love your videos
We wouldn't know the Sun disappeared "5 minutes ago" because the light takes 8 minutes to get to Earth. Since information can't travel faster than the speed of light, there's no way for anyone on Earth to know the Sun is gone before the last rays of light hit us.
Read the date on the first EAS it says 2037 tats in the future there prob is a way to detect this type,of stuff in that age
Maybe they noticed via a sun-orbiting satellite? Idk
@@LiamYankeethey don’t have satellites that watch the sun, it cna easily get burnt up if it’s near the sun

They're talking about snow compared to ice, not water compared to ice
@@nicrobe9443 oh if thats so ice is in fact denser than snow.

Thought the voice actor gave up at the end but maybe it's an error from the AI?
i was looking for some else to notice in the comments wild
Same with the Cuban one, I was like wait, wait he sounds like a Gringo!
awesome, Japan mentioned. Narita airport too 🎉 great video man
I don't think we could even know the sun was gone until the last light gets here anyway since it travels at the speed of light.
I'm pretty sure we have instruments that could detect just that, and if not, in this scenario.
@@HackerArmy03 the information those instruments depend on will still travel here slower than the light thats ending will
@@HackerArmy03 Information does not travel faster than light. We would know that the sun disappeared only when its already dark
@@TheToasterWaffleit was an inside job.
Unless the sun was showing some signs of going out prior to it actually happening there is no feasible way we would know until there was no light

glad to see you back!!! your videos always give me a good smile when i see them on my page!
Exceptional! i wore a blanket halfway thru the video for immersion
This scenario is literally impossible
EM waves move at the speed of light, so if the early warning detection system found out that the sun disappeared and broadcasted it, it would have taken the same exact time for the signal to reach Earth just at the same moment as we realized there’s no more sunshine lol
Yeah and there are also some other reasons.
That's what the Alert World universe does best, it makes physically impossible scenarios

7:11 who let KSI be the eas announcer
12:17 I’m pretty sure that said 40°C, as an Aussie, I’m loving it if that’s the case.
A cool day, comparatively speaking?

do you know about ‘made in heaven’? I think it could be a good eas scenario. it is from JoJo’s bizarre adventure and it is time acceleration that effects everything except humans, so time moves much faster and animals move at normal speed for them but very fast for us, and other things happen like food rotting and car crashes. there is a lot of things to mention happening
How did they know that the sun dissapeared, the light is still there

If the Sun miraculously disappeared, the Earth (and all the other objects in the Solar System) would continue their forward motion in a straight line off into space, instead of following their almost-circular orbits. For the Earth this means it would head off towards the stars at about 30km/s (67,000mph).
Notice how they didn't make any for Scotland, Canada, Russia and others. This is because they can continue like normal
