Is there a specific kind of fabric that should be used?

Yes, some examples, ... if you take a flag off eBay it's made of a rayon nylons material which is brightly silk screened . .take your fore finger out spit on it and place it under the material.if it pregnates through the pores it will glass nicely. Iron the flag flat to get rid of the fold creases when posted in the mail. Silk is fine to use. Cotton, or any material that is thin flat natural cotton or synthetic, as long as it pregnates with water or spit test. Resin coat the foam first not like on this video. Spread another coat on top of cloth and spread it tight get rid of air bubbles. Use new sharp blade cut carefully watch out for missed braid single threads s pulling away.

Sadly some of the tools by Greenlight aren’t the best quality the 3D printed products break easily.

Guys I've done fabric glassing a few times I strongly advise you pullover half the cloth and pre lay resin on the foam underneath the cloth first then the other side .cloth pores are super tight so avoid air bubbles
