    I am in love with this 7'0 retro single fin, this outline was begging to get an inlay. when I found this fabric I was waiting for a special board and I am happy that it is finally the time to use it.
    Let me know in the comments what you think about it.

    Welcome to my channel
    My name is Koby and I am a surfboard shaper from Israel
    For the last 7 years, I shape and build surfboards in my small workshop and now I will expand for more great projects using Epoxy resin such as River tables, woodworking, and more. I will upload surfboard building tutorials, shaping tools reviews, and great tips about working with epoxy resin art.
    All my boards are made from EPS and epoxy resin and I like to go crazy with my resin! I will do swirls using tints and pigments, cloth inlays, weird shapes, and more.
    I can talk about surfboards all day, so feel free to ask me any questions you may have and I will do my very best to answer them in the best way possible

    Looks awesome, well done! What do you use for your stringer material, just plywood?

      In this case i used Paulownia wood, it is super light and easy to plane, this 12mm looks great and weighs less than plywood 🤙🏼

    Where did you get the tool for making the 2 inch marker..the blue tool ?

    Where'd you get the scribe tool? I like how you are able to place it on the deck so that it's not able to dip down and cause small wobbles on your tape line.

      This tool was made by my friend here but you can find similar online, any other simple tool will do just fine, it is super important to get a nice straight line 🤙🏼 if I manage to find link i will send it to you

    Any idea how this could be done on a resin tint? So every board I make for myself I do a specific percent of a pink resin tint, (just really love the color for my personal boards) but I wanna do a pink resin tint, and then have a small patch of a inlay on the deck, but I don’t want the inlay to get tinted.

    • @kobymaymonsurfboards7320
      @kobymaymonsurfboards7320  2 года назад

      You should tape the inlay area, do 2 separate hot cotes, one clear for the inlay, wait till fully cure and do the other area with tint 🤙🏼

      Has to be 100% cotton, especially if you do not have experience with fabric inlay 🤙🏼

    When you put the logo under the glass fiber. Is this also cloth? Or can it be printed on paper? Or is it a plastic,... ? Thanks!
