@@porchdaydreamer I’ve watched several other videos about painting countertops and decided to use the method you use because not only is it pretty straightforward with only a few steps but also because you share all the little things to watch out for and how to avoid/correct problems. I know I can trust your advice because you wouldn’t be putting so much effort into something you didn’t love and truly want to teach others how to do properly. 😁 I decided to start with my bathroom counter so I can practice marbling on a much smaller and less noticeable area in case I mess it up. 😂
Thanks for taking the time to share. You might want to paint from the furthest door and work backwards so you're not going to have to worry about dragging cords in wet paint. I'd also would have used a small roller for inside the house on the faceframes for a smoother finish after you used the brush
Agree, when I film I don't work the way I normally would so my behind is out of the way! I find using a roller on the face frames pushes the paint out on the roller causing drip. By using a brush, I have better control of the amount of paint I'm applying in such a small area. Thanks for your feedback and advice! It may help others.
I've worked in the paint industry and if you apply correctly you'll get a smooth finish. I do mention if you have areas that aren't smooth can can lightly sand them, but it isn't necessary to get the paint to adhere. Hope that helps!
Not a problem! Wait an hour and apply another coat. You may need to increase the power of the spray. Test on cardboard until you get the coverage right.
That's unfortunate you believe this. This is a hybrid enamel and dries to a hard finish. All of my cabinets are painted with this and look amazing years later - even my kitchen cabinets. I worked for the paint company that developed the technology.
I love how enthusiastic you are! It’s obvious how much you love painting.
Awww, thank you! I really am and love to teach too. Glad it comes through in my video 😁

Im curious why you didn’t sand after priming or between top coats?

Thx!
Is it ok to do 2 coats of paint with the sprayer?
Absolutely! Just wait 2 hours or more between coats when spraying.
@ they look awesome! Thank you so much. I guess I can’t share my photo!
@@kimmitchell3139 YAY!! So glad you are happy 🤩
Help! I think My primer was too thin on the 2nd side

@@passion.project I hope it works! I will try tomorrow. I had to use my brush because it was going to pool and drip. 🤦🏻♀️
It's a cabinet should have used a clear coat
