She is perfection. A goddess.
We were lucky to live in this time.
This is the most beautiful and powerful voices of the 20th century
Tears listening to Linda. How beautiful.
Two of the greatest entertainers of all times!!!👏👏👏👏
Well, if you count the last 50 years as "all times", yes...
After all these years, I still have a crush on Linda...beautiful voice and easy on the eyes !
WOW! WOW! WOW! Linda is awesome... It's too bad that the younger generation does not have anyone equivalent to Linda Ronstadt.
This was amazing…seeing her as a very young talent. Her style, vocals and emotion in her voice really show changes over the years. Knowing more about her Mexican heritage than I used to, I thought of that aspect regarding her music and the way she uses her voice. Viva, Linda. You’ll live forever.
I can listen to Linda sing all day...what a voice!
Linda Ronstadt...the indisputable best female vocalist of her generation. In reality, probably the best of any generation.
Listening to this fondly in 2020!!!
Linda Ronstadt can sing any style of songs and music.AWSOME
Linda could sing the phonebook, and make it wonderful.
@@JackStraw1961 As can Alison Krauss. I would have loved to hear them sing together. They can both harmonize like no one's business.
Linda had one the greatest Voices in Music. And Glen Campbell one of the greatest guitar players of all time.
Holy Crap. No Autotune, Live on TV, probably one rehearsal together. Amazing.
I'm 56 now, and fell in love with Linda Ronstadt as soon as I heard Blue Bayou.
But Karen Carpenter Blu By Her.
@@SuppressiveSquirrel What does Karen Carpenter have to do with Linda Ronstadt?
Linda looks beautiful here and of course just sounds great! She opens her mouth and the most amazing emotion & notes just flow out.
Dang, I was 16 when this came out, now I feel old. I am honored that I witnessed such beautiful music!!
We had the best music when we were kids.
Every time I listen to Linda Ronstadt, no matter my mood or the time of day, I’m overcome by a heat wave of good feeling!
Wow. That is absolutely beautiful. I got goosebumps.
I saw her at Radio City Music Hall singing classics and was fabulous, she could sing anything , what a surprise when, as her encore she sang Desperate, just her and a piano. She has earned the respect of even country as a member of the trio, Dolly, and Emmylou. We miss you Lynda,
Get chills every time I hear her sing this song...she is the best...
Linda. Beautiful forever. Inside and out. Thanks for making the music that made a teen in Missouri "think about things....". Ageless and timeless, darling, no matter what.
In like 10th grade we had to write a biography of a famous person, I wrote about Linda.
Hello 👋 Julie. How are you doing? Hope you are fine. I'm Mark Clifford and am from Denver Colorado, where are you from? You seem like a real country girl
We were blessed with such talent.
In about 1976 i went with a friend to see linda in concert...we were barely 18...anyway longstory short..we were drinkin and smokin and passed out just b4 the show...woke up as they were cleaning and breaking
down the stage...young and stupid...one of my big regrets in life...but it did teach me how to slow it down b4 concerts..lol
Linda Ronstadt by far the finest singer of my generation. Glen Campbell one of the best entertainers ever. So sad there voices are silent.
When I hear Linda sing Long, Long Time, I enter the world of magic 🌷
Same. And this is my favourite LR song.
Amen!
Me too.
Two of the greats. Weren't we lucky.......
The range, power, expression, accuracy, breath control ... stunning performer!
We’re so blessed to have this memory ❤️
Only 61 years old. Heard her songs when I was a teenager and loved listening to her for a long long time. Beautiful woman and amazing vocalist. I wish her all the best through the physical health challenges. ❤
Finally being recognized. Kennedy Center Honors... December of 2019. Watch for it...
The Last of Us aired this for the finally. Its open a younger generation to her music which is now flying off the shelves. This song DL over 4 million times in the last weeks.❤ 2/24
Now there's a pair! Two of the greatest musical talents that ever lived.
You got that right!
From an era when pop music had values and was worth listening to.
It's good to see that James Taylor's song "Going to Carolina" is part of the music history of the US.
I loved the Glen Campbell Show. What an excellent duet!!
My favorite singer. Linda is incredible
I love this women ...started listening in 67 and will continue forever
Linda looked down the barrel of the camera and I melted.
Her voice sends a splendid shiver down my spine
Two of my favorite voices of all time. I love you, Linda and Glen. Man, could he play that guitar or what?
What rarely gets mentioned about Linda was the fact she never tried to overpower whomever she sang with ... for such an insecure talent like her that's amazingly confident ... and humble.
CJS929 insecure how?
@@MiguelSouza-pe8dq It's well known that she didn't think of herself as a great vocalist or talent. This was even mentioned in the CNN documentary --- that although confident in her ideas, she lacked confidence in herself.
@@Whippets "insecure" may be a poor choice of word. Perhaps "modest" is more accurate??
@@UnderDog1911 Beg to differ, this is the same word a number of her friends and business associated used. She was not confident in her own vocal artistry.
@@Whippets no proof. Just your words. MODEST was Linda. Gorgeous her voice. You...off the mark.
"Time washes clean...loves wounds unseen" one of the greatest lines in popular music
wish that it were true
@stevewiley8409 was for me...took years but I don't care anymore
Omg...my ❤ cant handle this one. My fave song of Linda's. Love her and love Glen. Thanks for sharing this. My husband us in Heaven now but the ONLY man I'll love forever. I used to look like Linda back then too...shes still beautiful though. R.I.P.Glen and my husband. Gonna love you both and Linda forever.
What talent - they sing their harmonies with no trouble at all. This was beautiful to watch.
For some reason I can't tell if they're harmonizing on Carolina or singing in unison. And it sounds like harmony because of their different tones
One of my favorite songs from my youth.
Thank you Linda Rondstat, Glenn Campbell and orchestra.
I love Linda and Glenn what beautiful voices
Such a beautiful woman , with an incredible voice
When I was growing up the most popular poster I can remember is a headshot pose of Linda looking over shoulder. That was enough to make all the guys I know to be head over heels in love with Linda. What a combination of beauty and voice.
I was an American high schooler in Frankfurt in the mid-Seventies, and one night as I was riding my ten-speed home to the Drake-Edwards Housing Area, I noticed an advertising kiosk with a big poster for a Linda Ronstadt concert. And I had to stop. It was that picture of Linda. And it was really nice to see.
I dated her before Jerry brown, wowza!
Willie Nelson said it best: "There are two kinds of men; those with a crush on Linda Ronstadt, and those who have never heard of her."
