After I watched this video, i decided to do paperwork I've been delaying because of fear/stress for the past 3 months. I managed to finish it in only 2 hours, and now I feel relieved. Thank you :) I feel much better.
Me too. 4 years of taxes. My husband used to do it. He developed frontotemporal dementia and recently died. I simply didn't have the brain power or the courage to face that mess. I've been overwhelmed. I've been listening to these recordings for a several months now. I've listened to at least one lecture a day.. Sometimes many.. The taxes were my "elevator." To face my terror of the damn taxes. I started with simply opening the cardboard boxes of receipts. I'd just look inside and then close the box. Eventually I could take some out and really look at them. Then I could take a few out of the box and sort/categorize them. My courage grew exponentially. Two weeks ago I met with my accountant and got all 4 years filed. The relief I feel at finally having this frightening responsibility completed cannot be overstated. I credit J. Peterson for getting me through this.

My father was head of education at a teachers training college. He was the most brilliant and compassionate person I knew. His students called him Dad....Jordan reminds me so much if him and I am grateful for every speech of his that I can listen to .
Jordan Peterson reaffirms my hope in thoughtful educated people. He delivers his message with such clarity and compassion. What a good example of male role models in current society! ✌️ 💗 Love you JP
Do you mean conventional education? Or do you mean he's just super smart and reads a lot and engages other smart people and actually listens and has a great ability to understand and think. I am always impressed with his ability to understand and describe things. I also respect how sometimes he just flat out pauses to think about how he is going to speak his next sentence. Too many people try to fill the silence with fodder and loose my attention. I don't mind waiting a few seconds for a better statement.
I've never resonated with anything more : "You're too proud of who you think you are to notice what you're like, so that you can change properly. You don't want to sacrifice that part of yourself. It's probably associated with some delusion that helps you maintain a positive, although very fragile self image [...] in the absence of genuine effort."
Ive made some serious improvements in my life off of that exact notion from JP. Im glad it resonated with you too, that means you'll be a better person at some point in the future, or maybe even now.
@@Dany-zf9bk It means we take things about ourselves for granted, like thinking that you're a nice person, that you're honest and caring, without really questioning if we are as great as we think we are. A specific example for me would be confidence. As a big fish in a small pond, you would naturally feel very sure of yourself and confident. But as soon as you step out of your comfort zone and your "bubble", you might realize that your level of confidence was dependent on your environment being simple and stale. That's one of the things I realized about myself recently, I've grown too big for my fishbowl.
This man has taught me so much. I’m 77. And only now I’ve realised that I’m a people pleaser, afraid of abandonment. A result of being in an isolation hospital for 6 weeks without explanation. I thought I’d been given away. This has coloured my whole life. So now I know it what do I do. The fear is still there. I was three years old in that hospital. I remember everything.
God bless you and don't die without knowing why are you here in this life...if you have not figured that out at age of 77. I recommend you get a copy of Quran and become a Muslim before too late.
The fact that you’re still alive to type this means a lot of good can still happen in your life! Whatever has happened in your life can be useful for you if you channel all of you into God. He’s right there with you. He made you. Just turn to Him in your heart and connect with Him. Acknowledge Him and tell Him your fears and cares. Ask for His help and guidance. He’ll help you massively. 🙏

The tragedy of Professor Peterson is that...he has touched almost every person he as come into contact with in a positive way. And yet... his personal life isn't even the best, he has his issues and ignores them to help others, its selfless. He doesnt do it for attention or reputation, he does it because he sees problems and he wants to help us fix it. He has wisdom, knowledge, experience. Hes noble, humble, extraordinary. One day I wish to fill his shoes, I'm still trying...
Mohamed Amine Bourhil He's been suffering since he decided to self medicate in order to decrease his anxiety, and the result is that he almost died. As fas as I know he's in a rehab process in Russia
Kaushik Kurudi you're right. He didn't self medicate based on what his daughter said, I think I've read this somewhere but probably it was a wrong information. He struggles with the fact that his wife has cancer, it's been a long period together, and only God knows how difficult it is to him. Life is tough...
WOW! Yes, I would encourage everyone who is so motivated to continue praying for Dr Peterson AND His loved ones for complete recovery of their medical setbacks. I will. CMJ Canada
One of the most important things with growing is first choosing your center / foundation. Because you can try to learn who you are and try to grow, but unless you have a firm foundation upon which to build and a center upon which to lean on during the hard time, you'll likely see many of your efforts toppled. Additionally, a foundation / center isn't something someone "discovers" about themselves. It is indeed a conscious choice. And some foundations are stronger than others.

It took me doing mushrooms to realize what this man is talking about. It wasn't fun. It was the most gut wrenching thing I've ever experienced. The reality of who I was up until that point was shameful. When it was over I was left humbled and appreciative of the people who have helped me in life.
Never have I heard such honesty, such clarity of thought, such raw, painful beauty about the struggle to live truthfully and completely. Thank you, Dr Peterson.
I have never heard of this man, Jordan, I am so glad I did. I was ready to give up. But it's on now. I use to be courageous in my youth. Now that I'm 53 I've allowed myself to become docile and weak. Time to get back up and do it again.
This helped me realize and give thanks for new colleagues in my life who were kind enough to present me with some truth about me. I resented it and ran the other way. But hearing Jordan I now know I have allowed fear to steer me in ways that have not been helpful. So much to learn yet about myself. At 55, I’ve taken the first step to begin honestly looking at who I truly am. It is humbling but wrapped in hope. Time to get real with myself. 🤔
What a lucky questioner to have received such an absolutely brilliant response directed personally at him. And how lucky we all are to have this clip uploaded so Dr. Peterson can address us directly, too. Thank you Dr. Peterson, and get well soon.
Brilliant beyond belief and it's just so unfortunate that most humans will never reach this level of understanding. Thank you Dr. Peterson. My relationship with my son has never been better because of your teachings. I pray for your continued health and that your teachings continue to motivate and move men, young and old!
THIS. This is exactly what I discovered for myself. This is what I did to find myself and get myself out of the whole that I dug up. I had a way of calling it: “Looking at yourself from an unbiased perspective.” I’m so glad that what I did for myself, that I didn’t read or hear from someone or some article or video, is something that actually works not just for me but for other people as well. Although I was in a lot of pain, being alone most of my life so far made it really easy to do this. I sometimes wonder if I am a special case of humble. I seem to shock the people around me and when people describe me one of the most common words is humble. Everyone around me says it’s so hard to be humble, but I don’t know I just feel like it’s second nature to me to the point where I don’t think I know what being humble really feels like. It’s just who I am. So in order to find your true self, I feel like being humble is the key. Jordan you’re amazing, keep being amazing.

To me, JP sounds like someone who wants the best for others and gives sound grounded experienced ideas to help others on their journey, and that by any standard, is a good thing. Contrasting that with the many critics and antagonistic interviewers he's dealt with, I'm aware that these people offer nothing to others, but rather they take, they attempt to destroy but give nothing in exchange. JP is a giver, and the offering is of great value.
I lost my husband 2 years ago . Now I'm a widow, I loved him so ,but now who am ? How do I feel again. How do I go on with out his love and support? Why I've been just pushing forward with a plastic smile on my face! I thought this is what a widow should do, just go on hold the pain back, and just die one day , when my time comes .. but that's not living, it's just sitting around waiting to die. Sooooo , after listening to this, fantastic heart wrenching talk. I'm going to look around my life, and find a reason to live again. Rickie j Your comment was the most ruthless comment I’ve seen lately.
Wait till this man rises fr his ashes like a phoenix, he’ll b back stronger and more driven by new experiences. I can’t wait to hear him again.
Aaron Boudreau I agree. If not, hundreds of thousands of people will rise up from the ashes via his message.
Aaron B. / I believe your words 100% ❣
That would be awesome!!
javier landry u mean it will be awesome ha😏 hey ur last name is Landry that’s French Acadian, mine is Boudreau (obviously🙄) my cousin’s last name is Landry, there’s lots down home in Cape Breton Nova Scotia Canada. Where do u live?
@@Muffin1980 Hey! Of course it will😆 Glad to know the coincidence... I'm from Spain and yes, my last name is french in this case from african father.
I am a young woman from Africa and I love this man's teachings for young people. Most adults dont give themselves time to play this role and the world certainly doesnt care. I am grateful to discover another daddy across the globe. God bless you JP💕
Jordan peterson is a blessing to many. I achieved success with the easy steps below.
Many need to know this. A known podcast in the US taught me how the rich seek the ideas of FinanciaI ConsuItants to help earn success. That’s the secret the rich don’t teach you. I took this step and my finance breathes so good now 🤑
Growth in finance is assured with the help of a FinanciaI consuItant. I engage in a lot with the ldeas of my consuItant and it yielded great returns. get in touch with her full name below

There’s no limit to what you can achieve in life (including success) if you put your mind to it.
Opportunity is a scarce commodity. I will partake in this. Luckily I stumble into this.
You deserve all the attention. I just reached out to the financiaI consuItant. I’m excited to partake in this awesome experience.
After I watched this video, i decided to do paperwork I've been delaying because of fear/stress for the past 3 months.
I managed to finish it in only 2 hours, and now I feel relieved.
Thank you :)
I feel much better.
Ørjan Trøber awesome!
@Josh Mkensie sarcasm ?
The taxes were my "elevator."
To face my terror of the damn taxes.
So proud of u !!!
@@KrisatWow Sorry for your loss😢
He is like a father to me. I have lost my dad a while back and now when I am lost or confused, I turn to Jordan P. Amen!
We are sorry for your lost, He's such an incredible men! We respect him so so much!, we actually just posted a new video on our channel about How to Know Yourself. Would love to hear your thoughts since you seem to be very like minded. ruclips.net/video/xqcejKCGY84/видео.html
sorry for your loss 💓 he is really such a sincere person that you can really trust and feel comfortable listening to
My father was head of education at a teachers training college. He was the most brilliant and compassionate person I knew. His students called him Dad....Jordan reminds me so much if him and I am grateful for every speech of his that I can listen to .
Yes yes
For me also
Jordan Peterson reaffirms my hope in thoughtful educated people. He delivers his message with such clarity and compassion.
What a good example of male role models in current society!
✌️ 💗
Love you JP
Do you mean conventional education? Or do you mean he's just super smart and reads a lot and engages other smart people and actually listens and has a great ability to understand and think. I am always impressed with his ability to understand and describe things. I also respect how sometimes he just flat out pauses to think about how he is going to speak his next sentence. Too many people try to fill the silence with fodder and loose my attention. I don't mind waiting a few seconds for a better statement.
Really?
I've never resonated with anything more :
"You're too proud of who you think you are to notice what you're like, so that you can change properly. You don't want to sacrifice that part of yourself. It's probably associated with some delusion that helps you maintain a positive, although very fragile self image [...] in the absence of genuine effort."
clickhead IKR, it’s like “ I like that about me” Reality - Not so fast.
Just one of the moments when Jordan makes me realise how stupid and naive I actually am, IV gotten quite accustomed to it at this point
Ive made some serious improvements in my life off of that exact notion from JP. Im glad it resonated with you too, that means you'll be a better person at some point in the future, or maybe even now.
But what does this means ? If you could simplify it for me please 😄 I think it is important but I didn’t get it . 🙃
❤️❤️
God bless you and don't die without knowing why are you here in this life...if you have not figured that out at age of 77. I recommend you get a copy of Quran and become a Muslim before too late.
god bless you
Really?
The fact that you’re still alive to type this means a lot of good can still happen in your life! Whatever has happened in your life can be useful for you if you channel all of you into God. He’s right there with you. He made you. Just turn to Him in your heart and connect with Him. Acknowledge Him and tell Him your fears and cares. Ask for His help and guidance. He’ll help you massively. 🙏
This man’s compassion is unsurpassed.
I passed all classes, one of the fassess!
Prayers for Dr. Peterson! So looking forward to your triumphant return
Gosh I wish I could meet this man... I'd thank him so much from the bottom of my heart for all that he's done for me & my life, as many as countless others...
We love you Mr Peterson! Get well soon, and may God bless you brother
A surgeon can't operate on himself. It is always easier to help others, I've learned.
I think we never stop discovering ourselves trough challenges that life presents to us.
The world has needed Jordan Peterson for such a long time. God bless him and his family.
Dr Peterson’s I pray in Jesus Christ name for a full recovery. You’ve been a blessing to so many. God bless you
Hey, what happened to him please ??
Mohamed Amine Bourhil He's been suffering since he decided to self medicate in order to decrease his anxiety, and the result is that he almost died. As fas as I know he's in a rehab process in Russia
Kaushik Kurudi you're right. He didn't self medicate based on what his daughter said, I think I've read this somewhere but probably it was a wrong information. He struggles with the fact that his wife has cancer, it's been a long period together, and only God knows how difficult it is to him. Life is tough...
He's sick from following that stupid carnivore diet he's been promoting. It was only a matter of time till it caught up with him.
He was sick from abusing prescription medications due to his severe depression. His meat diet made him feel better.
And some foundations are stronger than others.
jordan peterson is one of the smartest people alive idc what anyone says.
Jordan I hope you are doing BETTER. We ALL miss you so much...Get Well Soon Brother.
Dr. Peterson to me is about goodness, wisdom, truth, passion and love ... We all greately need someone like him today , tomorrow, and always ... His words have monumentally changed many and will continue to do so. He has given so many courage to tackle obstacles that has petrified them throughout their lives. Dr. Peterson definately makes us and the world a better being/a better place . He is so needed, his words are liberating ... If we had a number of Jordan Petersons spread all throughout the word it could make much progress towards peace and the improvement of mankind .
May Dr. Peterson be healed, happy, and healty ❣
Legends never die. Dr. Jordan Peterson will be in the history books as the greatest man of our time.
elon musk is up there but yes, it is arguable
JP is humble enough to agree with you..
Settle down bucko
No more history books. Just historical videos.
Yeah, legend never die
Peterson is like the father you need, the one to guide you and tell you a few inconvenient truths but is doing out of wanting the best for you.
I love when he pauses at 5.40 and thinks about his answer, he’s so humble and talks so well

Man , this man is tripping , he got me and it's like he's speaking to something that I've been yearning for years .
That's exactly how I felt when I first heard him on the radio by chance
Yearning something is tripping⚡
Man.. so glad I found you guys corner, 🤷🏽♂️.

I like how he connects knowing yourself with humility
In order to have this man's insight a lot of pain and suffering has been endured.
The most brilliant man alive .. we’re all praying for you 😞😞
I genuinely deeply love that man for what he has done for me and humanity.
May God Bless you & your loved ones Dr. Peterson. Thank you for being a wise father figure for those who grew up without one.
You can see the pain in his eyes.
I hope he's alright, he helped us so much...
I don’t know about you but as I listen to this man sometimes I find myself in tears ... I think he makes me tap into that deep deep place that I don’t go too and it reveals things about me I never knew ... such a strong intelligent & compassionate speaker .
My 10 year old loves listening to Dr JP!! All is not lost!!! Lol
Jordan Peterson will go down as one of the best thinkers of the 21st century. We are lucky to witness such a mind in real time. In contrast don't doubt yourselves and your significance towards your effect on others. Good luck in your endeavours ladies and gentlemen!
That thumbnail was beautiful
You don’t see him smiling that much
He’s amazing
I would be more cheerful seeing him smile like that
Even if I already listened to something Jordan Peterson said before, and it’s not new advice, I still for some reason find so much benefit and harmony in listening to him again.
I thank god for creating this guy.
My life has more clarity than ever, having read Dr Peterson's books and listening to his lectures and interviews. For me, he is the man of the century.
He's so humble and true. Like a real father should be
Know yourself, know your worth
I know my worth and what I can bring to a buisness to make money ,I know how hard I can work and what hours I can put in ,but other people just don't see it ,we'll they do but would rather not give me any reward ,I put 200 percent in in what I do ,this kinda makes me a little angry ,but then I realise most people are selfish and mean ,and will take advantage of you ,I could write a book .
He is the most encouraging person on the earth to me. Everyone can apply his method and become better person day by day.
This astonishingly brilliant and gifted human being. I feel immensely privileged to be on this planet with you Dr Peterson.
I cried, I just felt love and understanding.
Thank you.♥️
Man I have a mother load of work ahead of me.15secoonds is a long time. When your addressing almost every topic of your life. The short yet profound message has got my attention. Thank you. Wow
Right on pert buttocks!
Men of this calibur are too few. This is not just a insightful, intelligent man. This is a great man.
To the father I never had, thank you.
Wise and touching words, Mike. I wish you much future happiness.
watched it without skipping and he hit home with every word he said. Love the journey, grateful for Jordan Peterson
Me too
I have never heard of this man, Jordan, I am so glad I did.
Damn I love this man. I'm talking the greek "Philia" love. He's changed my life and he doesn't even know it.
But he might know... 😉😁
Life should be about talking🚦
A phenomenal man of wisdom. We can all become a better person by heeding this man’s generous humble expression.
He’s the only guy that can make a 10 minute video feel like it’s 2 minutes because of how interesting it is
It amazes me the power this man has on me. When he smiles i feel like the sun is shining. I am in love...
Brilliant beyond belief and it's just so unfortunate that most humans will never reach this level of understanding. Jordan you are not only unbelievably aware, you have an unreachable sense of humility and basic concept of what is basic right and wrong in the human race, I look forward to seeing you speak
In this over information world I am so thankful to have found this Juwel. Dr. Jordan Peterson is a genuine Master, he has the capacity for bringing the wisdom of centuries to this modern and in some way ignorant world. Hope he get better and better.

And if you don't cry, nothing is realized? If/then needs work.
@@reprogrammingmind No I realize things without crying but when you go low enough in this point of time that it was shame embarrassment self-hatred a little bit you know
I think this is really something that comes with age, experience, and wisdom. I've always been an introvert, always been very inwardly focused, very aware of my traits and capabilities and flaws, yet I've only just started to really know who I am and truly understand myself in the past couple of years.
It is a major turning point in your life once you make those realizations.
Same here I'm an introvert to. I can relate to what your commented..
Jordan P has gotten me through some dark times. The first thing he told me to do was clean up my house. Small steps turn into large gains in time, usually less than imagined, when the adventure begins.
around 9:30, that statement. man. the way he words it. it
showed me the true value of my depressions and daily mental battles.
it’s the greatest adventure you can ever get through and it will come with great sorrow.
He is the hero we need, for telling us what no one else told us.
Thank you for helping us become who we are meant to be, from the deepest part of my soul, thank you Jordan.
Self observation seems to be the golden key,not as easy as it sound.Well worth the effort.Jordan, wishing you well
If wisdom took human form, it would look a lot like this learned man.
Can't imagine what he will be like after this benzo situation. Pheonix from the ashes.
I constantly watch this video. It’s a constant reminder that it’s your responsibility to not complain and know that it’s you who needs to change not others. It’s me. It’s never them.
I hope he never dies..,
I’m gonna continually need this guy..,
Thankyou Jordan your literally saving my life one speech at a time
I'll be listening to a lot of his lectures and videos during this uncertain time. I hope he's doing well.
Thank you JP. Every word is meticulously wise....great light in taking that first step toward change. “Line upon line and precept upon precept”. Wonderful to have you back.
Upon discovering Dr Peterson through my brother about a month ago, I can say that he's made a positive impact in my life. I still have a long way to go, but knowing that there's someone out there who cares about and tries to teach us about our well-being makes me confident that all will be well with real conscious effort.
Thank you Good Doctor Peterson. May God bless you abundantly
I pray for Peterson s recover, because he helps so mamy
The way you delivered these words of wisdom feel like a genuine purpose of healing the masses with unconditional love. It lands on you heals you and then renews you beautifully. Thank you Mr Peterson for all you must be up against to remain such a light to so many lives.
Everything he says is real, bitter, sharp and so down to earth powerful.
Bitter and twisted,maybe?!
Jordan, you are a thread of common sense in an insane world.
I was surprised to find a brilliant mind when my Mom referred a video to me. I have followed you ever since. I thank you for your honesty about addiction and am so happy to see new videos. Heal well, my friend.
Thank you Dr. Peterson. My relationship with my son has never been better because of your teachings. I pray for your continued health and that your teachings continue to motivate and move men, young and old!
The vocabulary he has is the main reason I watch his videos.
Wow. I've been listening to this every morning for a week. Studying, taking notes, looking inside. "Know thy measure" after this seventh day I say "wow" so much and so far to go, but that's ok. I'm up for it. Thank you so much.🙏
One of the greats and humble enough reveal his flaws publicly
Thank you Mr Peterson for taking the time to talk to the world, and help us 🇺🇸 unravel all the craziness of life.
Such a clear speaker. Such a dear, caring influencer.
Clear speaker? Not really he is talking very unclear
