Was it the carnivore diet or was it losing 85 lbs, just changing your diet and losing that much weight would make you feel so much better. I’ve always thought that too much meat is very hard on the digestive system since it takes so long to digest and doesn’t have any antioxidants.

That’s hilarious the gabapentin did nothing to relieve my pain. Neither did one of those antidepressants that you mentioned and they had been on that for 15 years. It did nothing. I really have to figure out a way out of pain though because this isn’t a life this is survival and it sucks.

I have had Fybromyalga for 13 years! The last 3.5 years, it was so bad I spent most of my days in bed! I had to resign feom the job I loved. I have been on Keto since January 1st, and excuse my language, but holy shit! Within 2 weeks of no carbs, except from veggies, I have had unimaginable relief from the pain! I absolutely will never go back! It has helped my depression too, I am so much happier, it is almost weird, because I was struggling with depression for 20+ years! Another bonus, my eye sight is actually getting better. Didn't expect that! Thank you so much, your videos have been a huge help!

I was diagnosed in 1990 at age 21 at Ohio State. I am now 54. NO one had heard of it when I was diagnosed. People thought for years that I was lying because I had been a college athlete. I was eating a ton of carbs and still thin despite it.
I am 54 now and, unfortunately, was on Duloxetine and it damaged my CNS in only 6 months. Duloxetine reactivated Fibro. I am on only beef, bacon, butter, eggs, fish, water, Redmond salt, and electrolytes. I have to repair my gut health to repair my central nervous system. Bless you, Dr. Berry for being supportive of fibromyalgia. 💜💜💜💜

Fibromyalgia has destroyed my life completely. Since I got sick, I’ve been evicted four times, I’ve had three vehicles repossessed, I’ve been homeless twice and I’m going on the third time. I have nine failed career attempts because I can’t do anything for long. I’ll be 50 years old this year and I’ve never been married and I have no kids and I have no friends and I have no family and I have no church and I have no job and I have no wealth and I have no income and I have no anything because of this stupid disease. Plus a back injury from a motorcycle accident. I started carnivore 13 days ago. Some symptoms have improved, but I’m still unable to sleep because of pain. I’m switching to the lion diet in a few days when the eggs are gone just to be sure. Praying this works, because it’s all I have left. All of the stupid drugs have failed me And I won’t take needles or narcotics.

Currently dealing with indigestion and constipation as I try to get fat adapted and understand my fat:protein ratio. Decades of digestive issues are going to take time to heal. Same with the pain issues. I had to buy a top-of-the-line Tempur-Pedic bed on credit, with no source of income except more debt. Stupid but necessary, as I'm finally experiencing less pain while sleeping. A little less. It's going to take time. I just hope I don't get evicted again and have the bed repossessed.

I am doing the same. I figured, what more harm can be done? This or die.
4 weeks being Ketovore, I feel so much better. Yesterday, March 22nd, was my first full day carnivore. I feel better each day and will never go back!
I wanted to just not wake up, then I would not have to feel the pain! But that has changed. I get up early, look forward tobthe day. I even exercised a bit the other day.
Try carnivore only. Donot cheat. Just meat, sslt & water. You will not starve. And if you KNOW you can handle it, some eggs & cheese are fine too. My fave meal right now is a bowl of ground beef, redmond's salt on it and I try different cheeses each time. Soooooo good 😋 And I have no carb or sugar cravings. Try it. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤞🏻❤️

DJ L I had severe pain in mainly my shoulders and arms. I couldn’t lift a cup of coffee to have a drink without help. I was becoming seriously depressed by the constant pain. I took my husband to the Emergency Room one day and the doctor saw how much pain I was in and thought it was PMR so asked me to trial something that would tell if it was or not. He put me onto a short course of high dose steroids. Within days my pain had disappeared. I was then referred to the Rheumatologist who started me on high dose steroids weaning down for nearly 2 years. I started keto at about the same time. I haven’t had any steroids for over a year and eat as low carb as I can, now pretty much carnivore but still have coffee, an occasional avocado or some mushrooms.

I have decided to do a radical transformation!
I lived with fibromyalgia for years but my doctors refused to diagnose me. Additionally, after being diagnosed, I was never given any real help with the disease/diagnosis. I was prescribed Ibuprofen 800mg, 2X per day for pain, but would only take it at night so that I could sleep more comfortably. I have, thankfully, almost always been drug-resistant, though I am not supplement resistant!
I have recently decided that I cannot live this way anymore and have decided to take my health issues into my own hands. I am currently following Dr. Terry Wahl's autoimmune diet in the hope of curing/alleviating the fibromyalgia diagnosis. Additionally, I no longer want to take prescribed drugs and have told my doctor that I will not be taking the Ibuprophen and do not want any other medications when possible.

@@lizbetheddy7268 there is a vegan movement that's borderline religious movement and the "vegan recruitment" is usually out in full force for those vulnerable to try anything. But the truth is that it is the carbs that got people into trouble to start with. The human digestive tract is not for plants. We have 20 feet of meat and animal fat digesting small intestines and only 3 feet of colon where bacteria can ferment (rot) some fiber from the plants consumed. Our stomach has the highest stomach acid alongside that of vultures and hyenas. Humans are supposed to eat meat and fish and other animal products and not plants. I have worked with tens of thousands of migraineurs and several fibromyalgia patients. The only thing that helps them is low plants--if any plants at all--high animal products low carbs high animal fat diet, and water with salt for proper hydrating fluid.

@@ijs2712 the track was a phone spell correct. In terms of red meat causing colorectal cancer: nope. It is processed meat--which may contain red meat--and seed/vegetable oils that may cause colorectal cancer. I have also met very many plant-based dieters with colorectal cancer but not yet one person who ate fresh, home cooked, red meat! All human studied on colorectal association with red meat come from food questionnaires, which don't differentiate between McDonalds burgers, salami, bacon, or steak and don't control for junk carbs, alcohol, smoking, and similar contributing factors.
You may be interested to read up also on what actually supports cancer, because not meat but sugar (from table sugar or from carbs like bread or fruit juices, or soft drinks) does. Most cancers live off of fermenting glucose--good luck doing that from meat. ;) Meat doesn't support cancer at all. Just to discover if you have metastatic cancer they use a sugar drink because cancer cells latch onto sugar furiously to grow. If red meat was of interest to cancer cells, they woudl place red meat into the labeled dose to discover metastatic cancers.
I think you have a lot to learn other than calling attention to phone spell check corrections the wrong way. :)

Cool story too by the way, my wife has fibro and seeing all these Keto and Carnivore comments have seen such great success with not just lowering the symptoms, but wiping them complete out, has inspired us. She was feeling tired all the time and had more pain and it dawned on me that's likely an iron issue. As I know that older women, tend to have more iron issues than younger women (according to studies) and voila. It helped immensely and she loves Liver Pate.

Thank you soooooo much for your videoss and advice. For thr past 30 years, my health deteriorated. I thought my brain was dissased as well as my body. After a week in hospital undergoing many tests, including a lumbar puncture, I was diagnosed with Pernicious Anaemia, Fibromyalgia, Ankylosing Spondylitis and Poly Arthritis. Years later, another Internist diagnosed Sj9gren's and Dercum's Diseases/Syndromes. About 8 years ago, i began losing my sight from wet AMD. I had pain, farigue, brain fog, depression and muscle weakness. Then I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, Obesity, dangerous Hypertension and IBD.
4 months ago, I watched one of your videos for the first time and decided to give the Carnivore Diet a try.
Within the first 2 weeks, I lost 5kg. After 2 months, my blood pressure went down to safely below normal. I lost another 5kg. My blood sugar count went from 12 to 5. No more bloating or cramps after eating. The pain almost disappeared and I began sleeping properly. Another month later, I lost another 3kg and felt amazing! I had so much energy and no one came close to beating me at quizz games.
Without exercising, i began noticing hard muscle on my biceps! I could stand on one leg without falling over! My friends kept commenting on the drastic changes for the better and asked how it had happened. I was as strong as an ox, someone said. And I'm 74!!!! I feel about 40 again.
In the last month I lost another 2kg. But, due to a lot of family birthdays and early Christmas parties, i have been eating cakes, ice cream, nuts, fruit and veg etc. Well, the pain came back and I'm battling to sleep again.
This was so interesting! I did not put on any weight but I have been tired and listless and even irritable!!! My blood pressure climbed to 135 over 84 (it was 115 over 76 for the past few months) and, of course, my blood sugar spiked.

How do we release trauma? I have had Fibromyalgia for 30 years and been pure carnivore for a year. My pain is getting worse. My mom died less than 2 months ago and I was caring for her. She was my lifelong companion. She suffered tremendously well, but intensely with a multitude of conditions. How can I escape this? I am age 59, not married, no children, no job, no healthcare, etc...

    • @boolynne4800
      @boolynne4800 7 месяцев назад

@@JMJT325 I am so sorry and understand the emotional pain you’re experiencing which causes the physical pain also. If I may suggest, a carnivore diet is extremely inflammatory and will cause your pain to get worse. Processed white sugar is another huge catalyst for the pain. I found beef was a huge trigger for my pain. I released the energy stuck in my body created by CPTSD with Gestalt/psychotherapy and Somatics work. I recognized the things that triggered my reactions and “put the pieces” together with my mental health team. It’s about recognizing all the fractured pieces of you, ripping the band aid off, and facing the trauma head on to put those broken pieces together. In doing so, the energy the fractured pieces hold dissipates creating responses and pauses instead of reactions… reactions=unhealed trauma. Once I deep dived into my trauma work, I felt energetically lighter creating little to no pain and no need for pharmaceuticals. Since I posted my initial comment, I have learned fibromyalgia is linked to other conditions such as autism and adhd which I’ve been diagnosed with both. Talk therapy IS NOT the way to go because there is little to know healing…think of a pressure cooker… you get a “steam” release when you talk only to create another build up of pressure…never resolving the “pressure build up” or energy associated with your trauma. Unfortunately the healing is about getting down and dirty digging into the trauma and storming into the fire the trauma creates within our cells. A caged bird can only fly if someone actively opens their door…I sure hope this helps you and please feel free to reach out. After processing my deep trauma work with Gestalt and Somatics, I dived deep into learning and helping others through their deep process trauma. I’m not “fishing” for clients, I simply want to help others to know that through my deep process work, I successfully released the pain. Best wishes for your recovery

Carnivore for the win, go tribe! My wife has said the same, less carbs. more fat and red meat has certainly made her feel better. She's not Carnivore, but we are modified Keto and she has fibro. He's onto something with Carnitine, I actually went and read the studies and to my surprise it also mentioned improvement of peripheral artery disease and other conditions, which she also has. They had improvement in walking distance and speed and my wife has real problems walking any distance and speed. Seems like beef's on the menu even more often now. We had already been leaning this way for a while, using lard, butter, not garbage seed oils and plant oil products like shortening and margarine etc. eating meat every day and eating more beef too especially.
Now they are finding those refined plant oils (aside from the ones Ken has said are not too bad, like Olive and he's right they are) cause mental decline in people too. Vegetable oils in particular are guilty of this. Humans are facultative Carnivores, I'm convinced. We need to ditch a very large portion of the modern diet as humans. It's mistakes are quite clear now.

Bless you for posting this video, Dr. Barry! I'm about to turn 62 in 11 days, and have been permanently disabled for the last 32 years. It began with a severe spinal injury, and 2 failed surgeries, hundreds of injections and epidurals, every drug you can think of at high doses for peripheral neuroparlthies, and my spine is extremely twisted, partly from a failed ablation. I also have a diagnosis of fibromyalgia. I'm weaning myself from the last small dose of prescription meds, too. Hopefully only a couple of weeks to go without anything disastrous happening from that. Covid 19 and a recent relocation 900 miles away has kept me from getting to a new doctor, but medicaid won't cover alternative treatments anyway, so i'm not eager to see one lol. I thought that going organic and eating gluten free as often as i can would help, and I already ate a pretty healthy diet... no processed anything, and lots of fresh fruits and veggies. Argh. Now i find this. Thank you, thank you, so much! It'll be interesting now to see how i'll change my diet or be able to get these supplements, as being forced to retire after working 10 years only gets you SSI and $64/ in food stamps. I'm still extremely grateful, and I hope i don't lose any more weight on this if i'm able to figure out how to do it. I'm skinny already lol. May you and yours be richly blessed for all you do.

Thanks for this segment. I’ve been dealing with fibromyalgia now for 20 years. It has been a journey of many twists and turns. The one thing I started with was a warm water arthritis friendly program. You need to try to move and yes housework counts, so does a 5 minute walk. Supplements are important and I take magnesium and just started taking iodine daily. Salt is important on the keto diet. Now on the ketogenic diet for almost one year I have lost 37 lbs and the biggest difference I find is when I wake in the morning. I used to wake feeling groggy, unrested and in pain- don’t matter how much sleep I got. Not long into the ketogenic diet I didn’t feel like a piece of 💩 in the am. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!!! NOW I’m not cured but I feel better than I have in 20 years. I still have pain and have to take it day by day and some days are a write off but if you can do small positive actions each day, it pays off!!!! You have to show up for yourself because no one else will. Its up to you to try to get some control back and keto CAN do that for you. Keto can be easy but there is a learning curve. My advice is Try to just cut out the processed food, sugars and carbs keep it simple and eat eggs, meat and green veggies. Try a food tracking app like carb manager and just see what you do eat. Watch Dr. Berry, Dr Eric berg take your time . Slow and steady wins the race and you are worth it. Keto is a lifestyle change that WILL bring about positive changes. Its definitely worth all the work I’ve put into it over the last year. Thanks to Dr Berry I was able to educate my self and help heal my body.

I battled with Fibromyalgia for years. It was terrible to live with, barely able to hold a pot, in pain every time I tried to pull the covers up and over me at bed time.. I was in constant pain and always tired. About a year ago I started doing Keto. Within a week or two my fibromyalgia backed right off, almost completely disappearing. Today I am still living a Keto lifestyle, and will always eat this way as I have never felt better. I do not want to ever live with fibromyalgia pain again!!! Today I feel great.. have tons of energy, and the weight loss has been hugely beneficial! Great video.. so nice to see what has happened to me in video form! Love Dr. Berry :)

Pain from fibromyalgia and arthritis has controlled my life for 40 years I'm trying keto/ carnivore struggling but not giving up on it I know need to commit to being consistent with it. Lyrica had allergic reaction, Cymbalta gave me high blood pressure I had prescription for Vicodin, Percocet and Fentanyl also Soma I spent 15 years in bed 90 percent of time in pain as prescriptions only took edge off so from a pain level of 9 down to a 7 ! Off those meds at first difficult but found out I could be more physical and out of bed ( still pain but felt better than on meds) I still struggling to live with pain, trying to do some exercise (.pool) and now converting from SAD to keto/ carnivore I'm seeing improvement and hope that I never thought was possible Thank you for encouraging information

I was sick for most of my life. My first diagnosed issue was anemia at the age of 6 - started on prescription iron then. I had one issue after another, always sick with something, had pneumonia and bronchitis every year and inner ear infections almost as often. In my thirty's, I started aching all over, some days I couldn't even get out of bed. I was tested for lupus, MS, Lyme disease, etc...and finally diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I was immediately put on several prescriptions, which turned me into a zombie. I stopped taking the meds and started researching and changed my diet to a more Paleo diet. I still didn't feel great, but was able to function. At the age of 50 I found my now Dr. (Who I adore) and she was the first Dr of the many many I had seen who listened to my life history and immediately said that I had a bunch of red flags for Celiac disease. She tested me, and sure enough - all that time my real underlying cause of all my symptoms was undiagnosed Celiac. That was 4.5 years ago, and working with my Dr with correct supplements and diet (she immediately put me on a keto diet) I now feel better at 54 than I did at 34! I've been carnivore for several months, and NEVER have to take pain meds anymore. I sleep well, and have the energy to work a physically demanding job and still have a life outside of work. Diet truly is everything!

❤️ never been diagnosed with fibromyalgia - I have SCA8 ... lots of similar symptoms. Eliminating sugar & gluten was a fantastic starter!! Once I got into a habit of eating Keto I experienced great relief! I'm on no medications. The multi & other vitamins I take are actually absorbed much better. I'm convinced sugar is terrible & don't feel like going back to eating the way I did even for a "cheat" day - it's only making me suffer unnecessarily ...

Love you Dr. Berry! I have had fibromyalgia and CFS for 30 years. I have been mainly vegetarian about 64 years and I am not going on an all meat diet but I do believe that works for some people mainly because of what they are not eating. I am now 81 my A1C is 5 my thyroid is good, I still have my gallbladder. I’m sure what you say is true but I am thinking there are more things that cause problems. I get instantly sick from food additives - flavoring, color and preservatives. Mostly Fibro is now under control but I can get flair ups. MAGNESIUM helped me greatly. I soaked in a warm Epsom salt bath before going to bed and took tablets. I also got time release potassium script from my doctor. I am liking mostly plain vegetable beans and rice diet with sweet potato and baked white potato as well and salads. Also some fruit but not juice, drink lots of water and plain tea. been getting great results from intermitted fasting last 5 months. There is one thing that people don’t seem to mention. From the start of all this pain was sore lumps in my neck and at the base of my skull then going down my spine along the energy meridian. I put 2 tennis balls in a sock and tied the sock at the end. Put this at the base of my skull/top of my neck and lie on it for several minutes. Then move it down my spine to all the spots that hurt. Need to look at sunlight every morning and turn off lights before going to bed. Improved my sleep quality.

I’ve been eating strict/proper keto for over 6 mos. In addition to fibro, I have several autoimmune diagnoses, and other comorbidities. I have experienced drastic improvement in all of the symptoms of each issue, including fibro. I’ve also reversed T2D, improved all bad bloodwork to the point of not needing the handful of meds I was prescribed -that only made everything so much worse, and I’ve lost over 70lbs in that time.
I fully believe I can completely heal the rest of my issues if I continue this lifestyle. But even if things never improve further, I am living a much happier and functioning life now than I was 6mos ago.
Six months ago I was fat, sick, miserable, and honestly not sure how to continue to live the rest of my life the way I was. I never want to feel like that again, and this lifestyle makes that possible.

I have had fibromyalgia (my doctor's diagnosis - I'd never heard of it) and for me it is psychogenic pain. Now it's possible my fibromyalgia is associated with those markers you discuss because of stress eating, or that I'm under less stress in the first place if I eat better. I don't know. I've noticed repeatedly that the pain comes up as a distraction when I'm trying to resolve some other psychogenic problem or am overwhelmed by stress and desperately need to back off. One time the pain was so bad that people thought I might be having a heart attack and went to the hospital in an ambulance - massive pain, vomiting - but for that particular part of my body I've sometimes been able to make it disappear once I figured out what emotion/situation was triggering it. I think in my case it's cPTSD at the root.
John E. Sarno pioneered this. He thought that the brain was restricting circulation to the affected muscles (and reduced oxygen causes the pain).
I'm assuming fibromyalgia is a set of symptoms with multiple possible causes.

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and had an positive ANA. I suffered since my teens I’m now 41 yrs old. I’ve had so many different symptoms come and go throughout the yrs. it been over 2 yrs since doing keto/carnivore plus intermittent fasting. I refused to get on strong medication and decided to try this way of eating for 30 days to see if it would help. As you can see I still eat this way. For me after 4 months on this way of eating I was in remission and feel better in my 40’s then I ever have. Now I’m doing more carnivore to fix my IBS so far it’s been getting better. I know it take time but I will slowly heal my gut. I love your videos by the way. There are so many things this way of eating has healed I will never go back. I could never lose more that 5-10 pounds. Period. When I did the low-carb no sugar diet, my sugar cravings went away, I had NO pain, NO soreness, NO inflammation. I felt like I was in my 20s. High energy and lost 35-40 pounds. I have kept it off for the longest amount of time that I ever have in my life. I no longer have insomnia. I no longer have chronic migraine. I no longer have to miss special occasions in life. I wish all of the myriad of doctors I had seen over the past 40 years had known that eating properly could drastically turn my health around. I was never overweight, actually always a bit too thin, but always felt horrible. I also reversed kidney failure.

A Rheumatologist ruled out RA and Lupus. He said I have Osteoarthritis and possibly Fibromyalgia. I have found that when I eat a diet that includes sugars, starches, carbs, my joints BURN and my body hurts all over. When I live Keto/Carnivore, the burning disappears and the body pain/arthritis is decreased significantly. It seems to me that sugar and carbs absolutely cause most of my symptoms.

I've been suffering from Fybro for over 20 years. Undiagnosed until 2015...
A couple of years ago my MD suggested I try a vegan diet, I lost a lot of weight (from ~70kg to 62kg in 4 months) and my fybro was getting worse every day, I couldn't do anything, even walking to the supermarket resulted in pain and the need to sleep.
After some research, I switched to paleo and cold showers for a while and started to feel a little better. Enough to start taking longer walks and carefully working out, which improved my health even more. Since then I avoid fruit, added sugar foods, processed foods, softdrinks and alcohol and try to eat as much protein (meat, eggs, milk, nuts) as I can and while my fybro is still there, it is much more bearable. CBD and THC also help when I occasionally go off script. I also try to only eat in an 8 hour window, between 10.00 and 18.00 and eat protein within 20 mintues of my work outs.
Cold is still a big factor in my case, during the summer I'm doing so much better, but if it gets below 16 Celcius it gets worse. I take daily Vit. B2, B3, D3, K2, and Magnesium and will add Iodine asap! About a year ago I started taking Nattokinase and that has helped me a lot, I feel it has effect on my fatigue levels, muscle cramps and the subsequent after-pain. Overall 2023 has been my best year with Fybro in ages!

Just found and will try this. I was misdiagnosed with tick fever and actually had viral rheumatoid arthritis. By the time a different doctor found this the damage was done. I have suffered fibro now about 20 years. No real help doctors but a chiropractor did tell me to drop dairy and wheat. That helped but sugar had to go too. I'm working to go keto. Thanks for the info and all those who share their stories in the comments.

Switching to keto, along with getting my medication levels right, took me from being bed-bound with FM to living a pretty "normal" life again - working full time, travelling, living independently. I've been able to loosen the reigns on my diet now so I can enjoy social outings without having to BYO food, but I know if my pain starts to increase, the quickest way to address it is to cut out all carbs and sugars. I acknowledge that diet will not be a cure-all for everyone but it can definitely lead to an improved quality of life when living with FM.

I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and arthritis for forty years. I have been unable to work or exercise for years. I am so frustrated by not being able to have a normal life. Unable to go to the store or even walk around the block. I used to be fairly active and loved the outdoors. I have been prescribed so many medications that I have been taking 47 pills per day. My mom called and told me that she talked to someone this morning with fibromyalgia that has been using the carnivore diet. She recommended that I research it. I have been watching several of your videos and am excited about starting the carnivore diet. It would be a dream come true to finally be able to lose the 100 lbs that I have gained from all these different medications and get my activity level back up. I finally have some hope! Thank you

Hi, before I watched your video I discovered the link between insulin resistance and fibromyalgia. I decided to try a 36 hour fast once a fortnight for a couple of months. Each time I did one I started to feel better until now I feel like I have virtually reversed it. Although cutting things out of your diet is a long term fix, fasting can be the short term fix. Especially if you’re finding it difficult to stick to the diet that you have set. A 36 hour fast will reverse is healing resistance and heal the cells, without needing the dramatic diet changes. All I know is, that I feel tremendously better and have lost my fibro fog completely. The pain has lessened dramatically and I have got my life back.

I unfortunately gained another 25 pounds on Lyrica as my doc urged me to stick with it. I finally took myself off of it and was able to lose some of the weight gained but never all of it. I was slender and never have been again because of Lyrica. My dear friend had fibro as well and gained 90 lbs on it until finally stopping. I went to a naturalist and he put me on a gluten free diet and recommended many of the supplements you said. I felt much better, but I still ate gluten free flours and sugar. Only after I went on the keto diet did the pain really stop. I still have problems with fatigue. So it is not a cure all. I ate 2 pieces of gluten free birthday cake for my birthday. I have fibromyalgia and have tried several medications over the years. They all made me gain weight which would further add to my pain. Two years ago I weaned myself off my medications since they weren't helping. In March of 2021, I started a carnivore diet with IF. The first 3 days were hell but by the 4th day, it was like night and day. I stayed carnivore for 2 months and hadn't felt that good in YEARS! Then this weekend, my grandkids came to visit and we were busy doing "fun" things. I got lax and ate the fast food and carnival food or whatever was available at the various places we were at. Within 2 days, my fibromyalgia was back to pre-carnivore pain levels. Man, did I learn the hard way. It proved that sugars/grains cause elevated pain levels. It's back to carnivore for me!

I got diagnosed with Fibromyalgia almost 3 years ago. I smiled and threw the prescription like you mentioned here lol same with the prescription I got for anxiety and depression.
I have tried to use supplements and tools like stretches, heating pads, massage gun… etc.
“Healthy diet”- Whole Foods + Organic + No-low processed + No fast food at all + Low sugar intake (natural) + I eat Biblically clean diet, so far is tolerable from where it was. But I still experience mainly the chronic fatigue.
Today I started the Carnivore diet and cut out sugar, only what is in my Half and Half creamer. I won’t drink coffee in an empty stomach anymore. I had steak and eggs for breakfast and I made it all the way to 5:30pm without hunger and had a late dinner at 6:45. Steak w/salt/pepper/paprika and a can of sardines w/salt pepper/butter/lemon/hot sauce and water. A spoonful of Keifer and now about to go to bed drinking chamomile and lavender tea. I have been journaling it… I might actually save it on videos. My goal is 30 days. We will see if I can go longer than 30 days or if o need to. I might try 90! It all depends… I want to go into it with a hopeful heart and not unrealistic expectations. Depending on what I see as results I will try introducing one leafy green at a time, then fruits, then lastly veggies, then some legumes. But I plan to do it very slowly. No breads though, I can only tolerate my sourdough bread or homemade bread.

I think I was born with fibromyalgia. My mom reported to me that I was so sensitive to clothes, heat and the bed. She used to tease me that I was like the princess and the pea-I could have felt a pea under 40 mattresses. She would come into my room and smooth my sheets because there would be a wrinkle and I would be fussing over it. I remember this and her flipping my pillow to the cool side! I remember that some times and years it was worse. When I was 7 -every morning it would hurt too much to put weight on me feet as I got up. Mom just told me to take it slow...going to the doctor was a rarity as we were so poor. I was also very malnourished during childhood-we foraged for poke greens and that was my main food for most of a year one year and for a couple I was fed nothing but Campbells chicken noodle soup-the thin watery kind before they doubled those tiny noodles...So basically broth with 3 tiny chunks of chicken. The doctor wanted to hospitalize me when I got so sick after 2 years or so of this but mom cried and back then doctors were not mandated reporters. She promised to buy vitamins and force me to eat what I didn’t like (I always liked real food btw) but she acted like I was choosing to eat that way...sigh...anyway...I have been Carnivore for 10 months, and the last 3 I can tell that my fibro is a teensy bit better. Less severe leg cramps, less often, and not as long. When I do eat foods I didn’t like as a kid-THOSE are the foods I am most reactive against! It is amazing! I eat a bit dirty carnivore because the PTSD from my dad’s horrific abuse means often I get triggered and stressed and I told myself that I would not try to be perfect at this! Haha-he is right about the fifth of vodka-I have very sparingly used a painkiller or some whisky with the FM to lessen the extreme pain! At a point when I wanna cry for 2 weeks straight I need something. Anything. But this winter is way better than last so far! and today I am down 85 lbs. That is the least of it all, I am glad for it and I feel better without it, but the real amazing thing is how I am gonna live rather than die from the suspected congestive heart disease!
