Good, clear walk through. Thanks. Did you find it necessary to change the intake manifold gaskets when reinstalling, or did you reuse the original ones?
Once the job is finished, is re-pressurizing the fuel system just a matter of reconnecting that fuel pump/injection relay in the passenger footwell and cranking the engine?
Nice video, I watched it to hopefully learn the secret place to put the c4 to get mine off 😀 I have removed all the bolts and the bracket and it's still rock solid against the head. And refuses to budge. Did volvo use some secret super glue on the gaskets, or use invisible welding on this part ? 🤔
Great video! I noticed that the last bolt is a bit easier from the other side of the manifold. I just did mine. I didn't think I could until I came across your video.
Thank you for the video! Very helpful walkthrough. If I just need to replace the flame trap, do you know how much I need to remove to reach it? Mine’s also a 240

sweet lord bro ...GLOVES !!! that oil and what ever your handling is in your blood system in 3 mins ...this is why old mechanics don't last past their 60's
Removing the two fuel pump fuses and idling the engine until it starved would have been easier than going in for the fuel pump relay.
these pumps dont love being dry so I would avoid that.
Can you do the pcv system with just taking the throttle body off
dont make no sense how your shirt is so clean bro lol thanks for the video

I ended up replacing the intake manifold gasket. I didn't want to risk it and have a possible vacuum leak.
@@NewDimensionMotorsports Gotcha, I appreciate the quick reply.

Good video, thanks! You think that the B230E would be more or less the same?
Easy!" Win the lottery and hire someone& film it;
Awesome information tutotial
Hey guys, how can you remove the fuel pipe on the top?
Did you use sealant/rtv to put the intake back on
Thanks for this; it helps a lot.
Thank you for your video. I did the PCV and was great doing it.
Thanks! 🙂 I'm glad you found the video helpful.
Did that manifold intake gasket leak destroy your air mass meter or no?
mine did.
