    On my moubtain bikes they say yo use a carbon friction paste for the bars. Is that required for these as well? (So you would need to buy a new stem + paste?) Ride on 🤘

      We always recommend Carbon Paste when installing the carbon bars, we cover that in the other videos.

    Those carbon bars looks like some EF Proformer chromoly freestyle bars!

    Love the videos, keep them coming! New to racing. How do you figure out what the proper handle bar width should be for someone on their race bike? The bars on my new race bike seem really wide and I dont want to cut them down if there is a reason for wider bars. I also want to make sure I have the proper width based on my body being 5' 9" tall.

      Thanks for watching, glad you are enjoying them. Race bars were always as wide as you can get and maintain control, the wider the bar ( to a point ) gives you more pull out of the gate, and more leverage on the steering, 28” ( 710 mm ) has been the norm for Pro BMX bars for years, and most of our riders that are your height typically keep them that size, or may trim a 1/2 off each end.
