I love them so much. This in no way a hateful comment. Have to say that with all their duro's and all their chorus. It stil just can't be dime. There is something missing. You all have the magic. Bu there is just somethings that doesn't make it happen like all of my being thinks it should. You are all amazing and I will listen to yall over and over, but I just find that there is something that Dime had on the next level, that you haven't quite dreamed. I only say that for his dream of being Kiss. He lived it, played it and surpasseed it. What did you all dream to be when you were kids? Just wondering :)
Addition to this post. The more I watch it the more I think the lead for the guitar does not go to the vocalist. While he rocks his double neck he actually doesn't know how to use it half as good as the other guitar player. Its cool if you want to do on stage antics, but serious, whey you let the other guitar player make you look like an amateur, you might not want to try to play with your tounge or even a double neck. Honestly, I think your other guitar player could do it more repsect. The same reason I don't ever pick up a 12 string. I have not put in the work and I know that I am not the best at 6. Don't try to outshine a guitar player that is clearly better than you.

I saw them play at the Wiltern in Los Angeles several years ago. Probably 2015/2016. Holy shit, fucking amazing! And I'm a lighting guy, and the LED lights added so much to the show! I fairly lost my fucking mind!

Not punk, maybe not metal as well but way closer to metal than to punk, punk has way more powerchords and simple/major riffs, take a look on the leading punk bands, green day, The Offspring, nothing to do with it at all, but surely close to perhaps Alter Bridge in some parts or GnR

Ive watched them live back in 13 or 14, they are really good in live.
This is just a great song on every level I can think of. For example, the drummer is playing the perfect track for this song. Not overly complex, yet he is absolutely killing it!
If you think that's cool, the bassline is *mostly* the same note played over and over and over, but somehow it still retains a sense of movement. Very difficult thing to pull off, but Mike Todd (their original bassist) did it. That guy was a crazy good player. Nothing against the current one, Zack Cooper, but Mike Todd's stuff is my favorite. His counterpoint is something I would like to be able to pull off in my own music

That bothered me too, but from his play style it looks he is a lefty and instead of flipping the kit, he just learned traditionally and lowered the hi hat to make it easier on himself. I could be wrong but that is my best guess.

@@deadkid4825 I would argue against that, they approach soloing very different. Travis does exactly what the song needs and its awesome at that, Claudio is a typical " look at me shred" when it comes to solos, sounds good but I really prefer the former and I think it takes a lot more thinking and musical skill than Claudio's approach, at least for this song.
His voice has no difference with the recording. Very unique.

Half of the solo actually wasn't even the guitars just pure awesomeness of sounds coming from Claudio's and the guitar players mouths.

I'll be honest, I'm not a Coheed and Cambria "fan", but I'm gonna be that guy and say that I love this song. And this performance.....fuck they just gained SO much respect from me, that was absolutely flawless and 100% better than the studio version

Thats what happened to me! I loved the intro of this song but the vocals were the bad part, but now I have Good Apollo Im Burning Star IV and that album has opened my eyes to them. so good, and this live version is unreal.
It's not that his vocals are bad they just seemed out of place with everything else, but once you listen a couple of times you hear how it blends perfectly
