I told my mom they used to go by Shabutie and she started laughing, saying she used to listen to Shabutie back in the 90s. Truly an eternal band, I saw them in concert a couple times and they're even better now

Not a huge C&C fan, but this song is epic. Tells a great story, and the music is awesome. As far as live shows, this lineup nailed it. I've seen videos of the band playing it a few years after, and it doesn't compare. The backing vocals, the band members, etc, they were all on point. The venue and the crowd in this video also seem to feed off of the band which makes this an awesome video.
Mutual Assent you might give the rest of their work a try. The albums all fit together to tell an epic story that will suck you in and only leave you thirsty for more.

Every time I listened to the album I figured there was a lot of studio magic to make all those crazy solos come together so beautifully, seeing the live version blew my mind away, these guys are beyond amazing!!!
Best song intro ever. No matter how many times I’ve been to a show - this song live, how the crowd reacts to it, makes it feel like the roof will blow off the venue. I always say that hearing this live, is like a religious experience and/or an epiphany.
The full band really fucking makes it. Having the backing singers really adds to the performance and makes it sound far closer to the CD. I fucking love it!

They did it with some musicians from the USC Marching Band once and it was pretty damn impressive with a brass section punctuating it. I can only imagine with a full orchestra.
