That's a crossover I would NOT expect but man, is it amazing. Also, I know you've got three guitar gods on that stage, but can we take a second to appreciate that savage bass work?
Paul Erurikku still on my bucket list. i was really bummed when dio died... coheed + dio would have been AMAZING! its sad that most of the people in that audience had no idea who warren even was
THAT INTRO WAS FUCKING GIGANTIC. It made my 🌿 trip. Like damn it was good. Then the solo was just insane. Blew my mind. What a time to be alive lol RUclips needs the option to double thumb up videos because this slaps
@@MrCopenhagen113 And? Do you sleep in the master bedroom when you're a guest in someone else's house? No. That was their stage. He was a guest on that stage. HE did exactly what he should have.
I always loved the back and forth conversant nature of that solo (really shines on the Guitar Center session), I thought it was cool they could split the six phrases by three instead of two.

@@GoFigureGo not wrong. He was absolutely lost and just adding random squelches and harmonics whenever he could get one or two in safely before the riff changed. You can easily tell it was his first time hearing the song and probably any song by coheed at that.
“What is that noise?” “It’s the screams of the Damned!” “No, it’s a creature of the night!” “It sounds like the clashing of steel and the dripping of blood!” “You’re all wrong. This noise is called METAL.”
Warren Haynes ad-libbing, plus the female backing vocals and the screaming orchestral keyboards...yeah, best version of WH ever.
Man Warren can really shred with ANY band, any genre. Still amazed by this!
You know its ON when Uncle Warren goes Metal Mode 😂🔥
Lolol
Warren Haynes just proves how underrated he is
Anybody else here because they fit in the Venn diagram of people who grew up with C&C as well as ABB & Govt Mule??
yes
we happy few ❤❤🤘🤘
Lol I didn't know we existed in so few numbers.
You could make a Venn diagram of 50 to 100 people's musical tastes and mine would still be a big circle around them all. Same with women.
@@progrocker2112 So you're saying you like all music and all women?
Dafuq?!?! This.....is.....too....much.......how does so much rock fit on a stage?!
Musicians like this is the reason y I always wanted to learn to play the guitar the way these guys do
Wow this is one of the best live performances I’ve ever seen
i agree
Warren ends that solo in such a badass and epic way it gives me chills every time without fail
bro literally makes the guitar scream its insane. Full body goosebumps every single time.
God hearing this and the 3 leads going at it, its like having a convo with the angel and demon on your shoulders.
All these years later and it still blows my mind how the camera guy f’ed up the first Warren Haynes solo
Dude…..right??????
That’s more on the editors than the camera guys.
He probably actually died, which is what he looks like he's waiting to do for the rest of the video. Active heart attack.
@@WhoAmIWill Not at all lmfao, the editor has nothing to do with the control board.

That energy no the Room tho !!! 🔥🔥🔥
C&C music never clicked for me. But I think you’d be crazy not to love this song. Pure Rock & Roll
Confirmation that you don't need a wammy peddle to have an amazing solo. Love you Warren Haynes.
Check out some of wes borlands crazy methods sometime
this is the best video on youtube full stop
Wow they should have put this on the album as well. Super amazing solos!!
Hab die Band erst vor 2 Monaten entdeckt hör fast nur noch Coheed and Cambria außer Gojira und Urne immer noch Gänsehaut bei jedem Song
dude holy shit i didnt expect for it to be better than the original
This is like sitting down to a steak dinner and accidentally ordering a side of spaghetti and it winds up being the best meal of your life
Forget the Guitar Sessions version, this is the best live version of Welcome Home and no one has seen it!
Entdecke immer wieder neue Bands für mich aber coheed and cambria wow immer wieder Gänsehaut
This is amazing. Warren is such a legend. Awesome to see these 2 worlds come together
Stever's performance is so great
All 3 have such good guitar tones here
I can’t wait to see this at When We Were Young Fest this year!!!!
2021 & it’s still amazing
That's a crossover I would NOT expect but man, is it amazing. Also, I know you've got three guitar gods on that stage, but can we take a second to appreciate that savage bass work?
I don't have an ear for bass. Is it that great? That's awesome
Blessed to have been there all 4 nights, but this was definitely the most badass moment.
He really has the superior mic stand set up for a right handed guitarist/singer
GOOSEBUMPS!
This kicks soooo much ass! Awesome moment in rock!
Hell yeah man, so sad I wasnt there.
Although I did see them in April and it was amazing.
Paul Erurikku
still on my bucket list. i was really bummed when dio died... coheed + dio would have been AMAZING! its sad that most of the people in that audience had no idea who warren even was
Haha yeah yet the cheered him on more than coheed when he played and done his solo parts. But oh well a great show never the less.
I can only imagine

Good lord Warren slays
I'm not sure the energy of the three of them ripping those solos can ever be matched
This is awesome
Look at his hands!he could play Godzillas guitar with those😮.love it.
ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED! - Gladiator
Uncle Warren delivering the goods. Shame they didn't let him take the whole solo, but great live performance nevertheless
It’s not his song or his show. They traded off between the three of them. This went exactly how it should have.
@@Jonnycrowsnah Warren has more talent in his pinky than that entire band.

I started the tempo clap at the beginning of the song, literally me not Chris lol. The cameraman stole my moment.
nice to see
some women at a Coheed show...
Killer
Anybody ever read the lyrics for this? It’s fucking brutal.
Warren: Wah pedal? Ha! Watch this peasants. (It's a joke. I think Travis and Claudio are both incredible guitarists)
2022!!
Travis Stever ist awesome
Man warren Haynes got lost during the song.
But he absolutely stole the solo. His first solo might be one of the best I’ve ever heard
wrong he changed the way they play this song from this point on he killed it on fills.
Many physicists say it opened a rift in the space time continuum

is it their thing to make the bass player play in the shadows?
Is this Performance on cd or dvd ?
I think this is from the Neverender DVD
So glad they got rid of the background singers.
Scheisse gut
So clearly war hay, didnt really know the song riffs, yet still, he burned one down the middle.
