Playing guitar while singing is hard to do for sure, it’s taking a while for me to learn how to do it, however the truly shocking part is that when he sings, he sings technical, and plays technical at the same time. He has never sounded better, and the way his voice has finally settled over the past couple years is amazing. He used to push it too much but now it just soars beautifully. I won't be surprised if their child has an angelic voice.
Such an amazing song and performance. I played and sang this on an acoustic at a friends wedding for their first dance. A nasty storm came through and knocked out all the power. Everyone held up lighters and phone lights and were silent while I played and they danced. There was an epic reverb in the huge wooden room. It was dramatic as hell, and I like to think it would have been Coheed approved.
Yeah, Claudio deserves to be very proud of his sound, his voice has matured so much from the early days. I still remember in the Welcome Home days where he wouldn't sing half the song live because it took so much breath and wrecked his voice. Nowadays he can sound exactly like the album and you can tell there's so much less strain during concerts, it's easy to see how hard he's been working.
I would greatly appreciate that anyone learning to play any coheed songs to give them full credit and lets help them become even more popular. They are all incredible musicians and they will attract more fans if we(the fans) help spread their music around the world. Lets get to work people! :D
