Have either of you found your holy grail already? I'm 3 weeks from my 47th birthday and my skin isn't just dry and dehydrated - it is Sahara dry and eczema prone. I've been using the Maybelline Age Rewind for years, together with the Revolution Pro Ultimate Radiant Under Eye Concealer. I recently bought the L'Oréal True Match Serum Concealer because I just wasn't too happy with the other two anymore ever since I went into menopause and my skin became worse, with extra lines. I'm now using those two more for spots or as a base, no longer under my eye (NB. I don't use powder. With my dry skin, I'm just too afraid. I'll probably look like a 700 year old flaking-away vampire who hasn't had blood in ages! ).
While I actually need more coverage than the True Match gives, it does look nice. I'm going to buy the Pixi colour corrector Concealer soon, after I saw what it did for Jen Phelps' dark circles. Hopefully the combination will be 'Holy Grail', but I'm definitely in the market for a great concealer for very dry, mature skin.
The Age Rewind IS good, but more natural looking. And unfortunately, it's now sitting in my deeper wrinkles. But maybe you're younger.
I've heard good stories about the Milani Conceal + Perfect Concealer, so I'm going to try it as it's on sale in the same store where I can buy the Pixi.
BTW, I HATE the Nyx Can't Stop, Won't Stop Nikki is raving about here. I think that's because her skin is both young and oily. If you're dry - especially if you're dry & mature - stay away from it.
If you have tips for me, particularly non-American brands (I'm in the EU, and 98% of US brands can be bought here. A few that are very popular, like Rare Beauty, I can get in the UK, but I'd prefer to be able to buy it here), I'd be delighted!

I have to say that for my 61 year old skin, the NYX Bare With me concealer is the best overall for my undereyes. I barely use any product, so the tube will last me forever. But, I also keep a tube of the Wet n Wild Incognito concealer in my foundation shade in my purse. When I don't have makeup on, (and in the passenger seat) I will apply this on spots and under my eyes. It works beautifully without powder and just evens my skin tone out!

@Roadie247 try either the Makeup forever HD, Armani Luminous Silk, glowish from Huda Beauty, shiseido, or Rare beauty Eye brightener. I hate concealer and I NEVER powder my undereye because it dries it out and makes my wrinkles SO pronounced. However all of these work wonderfully. Also don't drag all the way to the outer eye, or pack so much like they all do in videos. Just put two dots under your tear duct and then just spread that to the middle of your eye. That's where the darkness is anyway. Don't touch anything past that point.

It really depends on what you want to use it for. Brightening? Covering (actual concealing) dark circles? Bringing your undereye forward? The tones should change depending on what you want to use it for :)
For example: I’m light-med warm olive but I use a cool toned concealer in a shade or three lighter than my base (depending on the day), bc I have deep set eyes, and dark tear troughs. BUT, when I was younger and those issues weren’t as prominent, I loved using a concealer that was more yellow-toned in a shade that was probably 2 shades lighter than my base, to bring that area forward, and brightened.

The wet n wild ends up being the first one but I swear by it!! It’s so affordable and it works so well with my under eyes and especially mixes well with other concealers! Love it as a backup too for when I need something and don’t have anything like my Tarte shape tape or too faced ! The milani concealer is double the price but still affordable and also one I trust all the timeeee. It’s so good I would confuse it with any high end !

Nikki----OMGOSH, you are incredible to try so many concealers under your eyes, BUT I LOVE THESE VIDEOS!!!! You have introduced me to a couple I've not noticed but I am a long time user of the Neutrogena Radiant Concealer and I LOVE IT (Their peach color corrector as well)! I'm 59, have some lines and squish under my eyes and this is my eazy peazy "go to" concealer, especially on "no make-up make-up" days. This is also my "roadtrip" concealer!!!! That Maybelline Age Rewind---been using it 10+ years, before the word "viral" was attached to make up!!!! Actually, a year (or so) ago, when it was time to rebuy my shade I couldn't find it anywhere----just empty area where it should be!!! I have found that with age and changes in my skin I do have to work with this product a bit more. I use to swipe, dab and go...today I use less and pat a bit longer!! Still a winner!!! Thank you Nikki!!!! Really enjoyed the ending round up!!!!

I’m only only halfway in and they all look great but I think it’s the brushes that make each look perfect, just saying. I never use the concealer brush because I never know what to do with it after. What do you do after you finish, do you go and wash it right away? I don't have time to do it every morning before I leave, and I don't like to leave it there with makeup on it. What do you do?

@@ericaluisi8115 thank you! I don't think I'd like to use it again until after it's been washed. I have tried that with a much smaller brush - i wipe it and then spray it with alcohol and leave it on a paper towel to dry, but then the next day I don't want to use it unless I wash it first, especially near the eyes. I guess that doesn't work for me, unless I buy at least seven of them! I don't get those kind of great results, even with a brush though.

My underye would have required medical attention after all those concealers and cleaning in between ... you would have been able to see my red, raw skin from space!!! Thank you for this .. I am definitely going to go out and get the L'Oreal Age Perfect foundation and concealer .. I need a good drugstore brand as I am so tired of spendy brands (even tho I do love the Armani and Lisa Eldridge). I also have the Fenty Stick as well but I think the L'Oreal would totally suit my skin type. xx

Nikki, thanks for your extensive research. The one you missed is my favorite by far, infinitely superior to any drugstore or high end concealer for my dry, mature undereyes. LA Girl. Concealer of the angels! They don’t even have my shade, but it’s so good, I mix two shades to get it to match. I don’t know what magical voodoo secret potion they use to make it so seamless, but I’m grateful I found it!

I have enjoyed the Milani concealer for years, but recently I tried 2 other concealers that I switch back and forth between these days. For awesome hydration that takes a little while to dry but doesn't settle into lines (I am 58, so this is a must now) I really like the Physicians Formula Butter Glow Concealer. The other one I use is ColourPop Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Creamy Concealer which dries quicker but is very smooth and stays put all day. I am a fan of the Loreal Age Perfect Foundation, so I will check Wal-Mart for the concealer soon. I appreciate you giving honest reviews for us. It is so helpful! Thank you!

I related to when you said your under eyes looked worse with the product than without. That's how I feel about all concealers at age 60. I prep my skin (vitamin C, moisturizer, sunscreen), it looks very moisturized. I add a tiny dot, blend with a brush (tried fingers, sponge) and my skin looks wrinkled and like the desert. I kind of feel the same about foundation. Skin looks moisturized, add dot of foundation and looks dry, skin flakes appear, clings to dry patches and any peach fuzz. High end to drug store...sigh. Thanks for the excellent video. Gonna try the Neutrogena, Milani and the Elf (again)...🤞

Try mixing it with a serum or moisturiser on your hand first, then dot it on and dab it until it blends in. .... I've had success with many products using that method, you just have to see what you have that works with it . ... I'm the same, my skin looked smoother Before concealer until I did this... P.S... I'm 63.
