Nikki, you don’t owe any of us an apology for having allergies or being sick or anything for that matter. This a FREE guide you choose to make and allow us all to watch. You owe us NO apologies.
I totally appreciate these videos. Helps me and my friends to shop for products that don't break the bank. Especially in your 60's discovering makeup applications and tips.
With all the hype around glow drop type products I would love to see you do a “I bought all the glow drops” type video! I am 41 and would love to know which ones would be better for more mature dry textured skin. Love you! ❤
Nikki you are such an artiste even doing your own makeup like a painter with their palette and canvas. My mom was a phenomenal painter, she passed the last year unfortunately, and she could capture people and landscaping on large canvases. You remind me of her and how precise but blendable your colors look on your face !! ALWAYS STUNNING!❤You are a true pro artist in your line of work AND you are a true beautiful soul as a human being!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Maybelline Fit me loose powder got me through many photoshoots as a local model when I couldn't afford the more expensive stuff. It photographs beautiful and is very versatile in how you can use it. It's also blurring and makes makeup last a long time.
Nikki, you have to try the physicians formula diamond blur loose powder. It’s comparative to the Pat McGrath, finishing powder, but in a lease form, it’s hydrating finally melt and lightweight and blurs the skin beautifully. It’s a must try from the drugstore. I think you’ll love it.
Thank you, Nikki! Yes, thank you so much for showing all the steps/time-it’s so helpful! Would love a round up of all your favorite drugstore products, even if you’ve already done one!
I’ve been dying to play with blues on my eyes, but creating very subtle, soft blue looks with it. This and Alexandra Anele’s new video are the perfect inspiration. 😁
I am so happy to have discovered your channel Nikki!!! I am so sorry I had not discovered you sooner!!! You have me mesmerized!!!! Take care and much love from Greece❤
Thank you Nikki for doing this video! You make everything look so easy. You have an amazing clam voice to teach us your applications. Love this look! At 67 yr. old, I could never pull metallic eyes off. I do add a little shimmer now and again. You are amazing. My new found loose powder is O/S in the pink. Love it!😀💕🙋♀️🇨🇦
Nikki, I am so very happy that I found you!!! You are an incredibly gifted artist . . . It is a very special calling for you as I see it. Thank you many times over for your wonderful presence, your caring and warmth, and for teaching and inspiring us.
Ooo, Nikki! I’m just LOVING your videos! As for a good drugstore POWDER, I’m an oily girl of 43 and I really like the NYX Mineral Matte Finishing Powder. I know that Hot N Flashy also sings its praises. 👍 Thank you so much for your content! ❤
Love watching this uncut/real time application and blending. I think it gives me more patience with myself and also gives recognition to the amount of the skill that goes into makeup!
I love these longer videos, I’m 46 worked as a nail tech aesthetician and an instructor (off and on) since 96 & 97 and I still learn so much from you ! I love how you “shape” your lips & the steps it takes to get them “flawless”…very Alexis Vogel ❤ hope you’re feeling better. I’m in FL and the pollen + high humidity is creating an allergy apocalypse, I believe your area is having the same pollen/hunidity issue. Feel better ❤
I absolutely adore your loving and truthful personality. It’s a breath of fresh air to have someone go against the stream of RUclips with the short videos that have no honesty about how difficult it truly is to create masterpiece makeup looks with drugstore products. Keep doing your Nikki uncuts! Sending love your way!! Sarabeth from southern utah.
A drugstore setting powder that I think is pretty good is from a Korean brand, Innisfree, the No-Sebum Mineral Setting Powder. You can find them online at drugstore prices. I picked it up at the variety/drugstore, Don Quijote, when I was in Japan, and it's the best "low-end" setting powder I've tried.
I love all your videos but your Nikki uncut are absolutely my favourite as they are even more instructional, informative , realistic and therefore I find it so helpful and interesting to see the whole process with no steps taken out, especially when it comes to blending and so on. I really hope you will always continue doing these videos on RUclips as I personally do not like and do not tend to watch short content videos almost at all, although I imagine other people might like or even prefer that, but that is definitely not me . So, thank you !
Nikki, you are literally my twin in the way we love skincare&makeup. If not twin, at least what I aspire to be as a makeup artist (except only on myself and daughters!😋) ❤❤❤ I love every single look you create! Your skin, your eye looks, your lip combos! You are my absolute favorite artist&youtuber in this whole world! 💕💕💕
hi Nikki, I love your videos not only because you are very good and very sweet but I find them so relaxing! the sound of your voice and the clink of bracelets and brushes when you put on makeup is the best of the asmr on yt bye bye from friuli, north east italy
Girl i missed long videos format. think I hate TikTok because I never get the full view of the makeup. I love tutorials and for me, this is the best way to learn about makeup and tutorials
Appreciate seeing the process and now I understand why I never get the same look in 10 min 😂. Another drugstore look would be amazing! This came out great ❤ thanks for all that you do
This look reminds me of watching Cher as a kid in the 70s💙 Always learn so much from you in your Uncuts. Hope you never stop doing them. No exaggeration, you're brilliant.
Really enjoyed this one! I am going to watch it again in certain parts. Love the budget friendly products and how to use them to get this beautiful result.
Nikki, I'm also picky about powders and the only one from the drugstore that I've liked has been the Wet and Wild Photofocus loose setting powder in Translucent. I feel like it is really really good and comparable to some of my high end favorites. It isn't chalky but does a good job setting and blurring the undereyes. I think it would be worth a try!
I love that you love drugstore. It's what made me subscribe. I could afford the mid-range/Macy's makeup if I wanted to, but I'm cheap, and there are so many amazing and affordable products at the drugstore/Walmart/Ulta. I could watch you all day, cut or uncut. 🥰 BTW, you've now convinced me I need the Precious Metals palette. I've been sitting on the fence about it.
Hi Nikki. Lisa J did a video of Physicians Formula products awhile back. And absolutely loved the Butter Believe It! Pressed Powder in Translucent. It’s a must see because she was so surprised and couldn’t say enough about it. She had to stop herself from going on and on. I haven’t tried it yet because I forgot about it but now I’m going to try it for sure. And one more thing, she loved the way it looked to set her concealer and face. Just put in Lisa J : Physician’s Formula and it will pop it. Nikki, you’re my favorite You Tube person to watch hands down. Sending love and blessings to you, Mitch and babies. Aren’t pets the best? They are precious!!❤️✝️
Loved watching this! It’s great to see a professional use and show respect to drugstore products, Most of us can only afford a few high end products, so it’s great to see we can save some money on products that perform just as well. I’d love to see more drugstore looks from a few different brands, especially the start to finish no editing. Such a great idea for people to see how long it actually takes with all the steps included. ♥️
Maybelline fitme loose powder is very comparable to the huda beauty powders in terms of the finish and coverage they have. Or the wet n wild photo focus loose powder. The wet n wild is insane because how is 6 dollars? How is that formula and finish six dollars? It ruined higher end powders for me.
@@heathercuff2512 i know it is marketed as a finishing powder but I have found it works stellar for undereyes. I will confess Ive never tried it for its intended purpose but I think I might give it a shot and see
It’s probably horrible to a professional but I really like the Believe line setting powder at Dollar General. It’s finally milled and on my dry skin looks good. But you can test it out and see. Love this look!!!
As a dry skin girly, I love the hard candy sheer envy chilling wonder powder. I get it at Walmart usually on sale for like $5-$7. It’s so good! Keeps me looking fresh all day without drying my skin out
Thank you for the reviews. I have hooded eyes, and your technique is easy to follow. I use the liquid Tatoo eyeliner. Definitely going to buy the pencil eyeliner and mascara. Gracias! Love from Texas
The lip gloss really elevated the look and resonated with the sparkly eye look. I remember that back then, green/blue/silvery eyes were common in our grandma's time (50's) and they went out of fashion. now this type of eye makeup looks editorial in 2024.
Have you tried the Cover Girl Advanced Radiance powder? I haven't seen that mentioned thus far. And Boots #7 powder. They changed the beautiful silver packaging to something cheap looking and I haven't rebought. But it was a dupe for CT. Can't wait to hear back which powders you found. I know we're all looking forward to it.
I love Airspun Coty loose powder. I got 3 different shades. Smells amazing to me. Very powdery, cozy scent🥹Reminds me of my mum. Powder is great! I love how smooth my skin looks😻‼️

Hey Nikki!! You should try the Wet N Wild photo focus setting powder in translucent. It’s my go to and it’s been my drugstore loose setting powder for years now. 💗
I love your videos Nikki! I was wondering if you'd be able to do a little more advanced tutorial/video on color theory, and specifically pertaining to bright colors for eyeshadow/blush? Or just color theory in general including color correctors. Love you! :)
I really enjoy your videos. They are no bs. I am drugstore everything but powder, concealer and eyeshadow. I usually get the eyeshadow and concealer on sale. The powder is more due to super sensitive skin. A bunch of them have fragrance or cornstarch in them.
I’ve been using the elf pink loose powder for awhile and I love it. In fact, I’m almost out. Did they change the formula? I would love a drugstore dupe for the Givenchy Prisme Libre Milani, NYX and elf are my favorite drugstore brands
Maybelline Fit me pressed and loose powders are stunning! Also love the old school prime and fine pressed elf powder in the clear compact, beautiful formula.
60 year old mature new subscriber. Glad I found you! I have been binge watching you. It is extremely helpful to me because we seem to be a color match. So far, I have been the same foundation colors in the ones I have watched. Anyhow, you asked for a good drugstore powder. The only one that I have found that I like is flower beauty. That being said, I absolutely hate the packaging! I decanter into a really beautiful container I got from Hobby Lobby. My favorite luxury powders are Hourglass Translucent Veil and Givenchy. My skin is normal in the summer and normal to dry in the winter. I highly recommend the Flower Beauty powder. Very luxury for drugstore!
I’m so glad that you like the L’Oréal concealer, I’ve been seeing the commercials and wondering your thoughts! I do really like their skin tint. Really fab look thanks Nikki!
Thank you for the time and accumulated knowledge that goes into your videos. For me, the Wet n Wild Photofocus translucent loose powder is perfect. I use a lot of luxury brands, but I actually like it better than the Laura Mercier.
I think often makeup looks much more editorial and chic with a matte or stained lip. Sometimes with glowy/shiny everything it all becomes a bit much. It’s nice to see juxtaposition 😊
So glad to watch the eyeshadow part! I have one very hooded eye and the other just a little hooded so this helped. You do an awesome job because I never noticed that you had the same issue. Thank you.
Nikki your videos are a must for me. You are so gorgeous. I appreciate how you really care and help us. I would like to know if you could do a primer review and your fav primers. My face just sweats as soon as I apply serums, moisturizers, creams, pore refiners. I believe I have to go into the Luxe brands to see if they have what I need. Primer is such a big part of helping keeping my makeup on. I would think that would be a good review. Stay Gorgeous….
This is stunning. Also maybelline fit me powder is good although a tad dry maybe but a nice finish and the tried and true coty airspun works well. I'm sure you've tried both I'd be interested in your opinion on both. The eyeshadow look is everything something a little different than the everyday neutral is always fun! 😊
The Creme shop banana powder is amazing for a setting powder. I have used it with light and dark skin tones and it looks stunning and holds all day. Also the elf setting powder but not the halo glow one is amazing.
