First time i have seen Johnny Cash, i was about 15 years old, but i didn’t know him ate the time . It was playing Cry, Cry,Cry. I didn’t know much about Country music. Ate the time there was no internet so i have search him, nobody from my friends knew him also. At last i was driving with my dad, we have listened random radio, and there was it, Johnny again. But on radio they haven’t said who was it. So i ask my father, and finally i have got a name Johnny Cash.. and not only that, but my father was a also a fan, he had at home one cd with a couple of songs from Johnny.. i was so happy. After that it was all history, I’ve been listening Johnny to 25 years and I'm still thrilled every time I hear something from Mr Black. Yeah folks when you don’t know something, ask your old man first.. im sure you’ll get some help. Sorry for bad English. I’m a from Croatia, i know im living in Germany. Have a nice day and always have something from Johnny in your Car. I know i have Auf Wiedersehen

Johnny cash was an amazing singer and pl as yer...you definitely could tell June and johnny lived each other forever and a day...I'm sure they are singing together in heaven now
His songs are like a mixture of old and new music some of his songs remind me of old country type music while song like "Ring of fire" was more modern faster and different. Can really tell how he was right at that time when music was changing his music was part of that change.
Funnily enough ring of fire was an older country song that he spruced up. Apparently he had a dream with the Spanish trumpets in and knew he had to use it for ring of fire
I can see he was going through a lot right here. He was suffering for sure. I Started buying Johnny Cash when I was a teenager . He’s still one of my favorite’s long after his death. The Man In Black
His first wife had filed for a divorce at this moment at time. If you ask me, he looks like a man with a broken heart. He was in his third year on having an affair with June.
I saw Johnny in Ottawa, Canada in 1968 or 69, I was a young lad of 17 and still remember that performance, it wasn't one of his best since he was doped up some, but it was still memorable.
It's the mighty Luther Perkins, he generally used Fender Esquires but had a brief affair with the Jazz Master and a short spell with the Jaguar before reverting back to his beloved Esquire's. I don't understand the question 'what did the guitarist look like?' He died within a year of this film in August 1968. Maybe this was the last captured video of Luther, I don't know for sure.
When Dylan went electiric in the mid '60s, all the folkies were giving him a hard time for 'selling out', Johnny Cash wrote to the folk newspaper and told them to "Shut up and just let him sing" He was always there for the underdog, the underprivileged, and so many more Thanks for everything Johnny
I just watched a long lost episode of Columbo. The great detective show with Peter Falk from the seventies and it featured Johnny Cash playing a country singer who kills his wife and her daughter by jumping out of a plane that he piloted with a parachute. Of course, Columbo figures it out and catches him. The main thing going through my mind watching the show was how powerful Cash was. Just hearing him talking you can hear that booming voice and how physically strong he was. What a man! He was one of the greats. And he had great memorable songs and a booming voice! Today’s country is dull by comparison. I’ll stick with Cash and Willie Nelson. That’s it!
