I made this yesterday after getting beans and red potatoes from my local farmers market and only tweaked 1 thing, I used chicken broth instead of water. The family LOVED it. They were cooked perfectly. Thank you for sharing!
I went looking on RUclips for someone to tell me how many minutes to cook my fresh green beans in the IP and I found you so I'm giving it a go. I added minced garlic, sea salt, fresh ground black pepper, and a teaspoon of Cajun seasoning and a 14 oz package of hillshire farm lit'l smokies with my potatoes and beans. I usually add a package of polska kielbasa but needed to use up this package of smokies. I think they will taste just fine. I just started the IP and now I wait. This is a surprise dinner for my daughter and her/our family. I've made this dinner in the past on the stove many times and it's always been a favorite of my children and now my grandchildren love it too. This is the first time I've had fresh beans available so I had no clue how long to cook them for in the IP. I know this will be a hit. Thanks for sharing. *I also subscribed to your channel.
Yes I think 25 minutes is the perfect setting for garden fresh green beans. Depending on how you like your beans you may want to tweak it a little or keep it at the same time.
