I got my City of Crowns Saturday after ordering through Garphill. I had a rough few solo games because of a couple of rules mis-interpretations, which I caught by rewatching this video! The last two games clicked and I enjoyed. Thank you for your great work, I look forward to WoW and the South Tigris Trilogy.
Got in love with it recently 😄 it reminds me of Building a warband like in Fire Emblem or battle brothers. Would love to See a game going in that Direction ❤
So I got my copy of City of Crowns last week, I’ve had two solo games - I won the second game (luckily the AI moved slowly to randomly block my strategy before my engine got going) I love it. Paladins is one of my top ten games easily (I don’t know where exactly….may even the high five). Awesome. Thanks Sam!
..wait, when you pray you can remove workers from the left side of the player board?!? ...jesus don't know why always thought only right side 😫 this expension is sssoooo nice
I'm the same as you, I've been playing this game from release thinking you can only remove from the right hand side. It would have been nice if there was a little note in the AI rules when they covered prey that reminds you that you can still do the left side
Love this playthrough, makes some small rules a bit more clear. @27:25, shouldn't you be taking the card on top of the Townsfolk deck? (removing a debt card). Just to get the rules straight.
I’m so excited for this expansion and the Big Box! Quick question: how will this expansion work with the Paladins promos? Will you decide which paladins are included in the pool before the game or randomly choose a specific number of cards? I already select four paladins per round and play/top/bottom/burn with the promos. Just curious!
I very much enjoyed your playthrough. I am a bit unclear on the end game scoring of the negotiate cards (sets of unique icons). Once you score a set of 4 icons for 9 points, do you look at the remaining cards to see if you have another set of 2 or 3 unique icons for another 2-5 points?
Paladins is one of the best solo games with automa available, I am happy there is a new expansion :)

Yea, from any one space on your board. The AI only ever clears their right-side with the pray ability though.

@@britishbattleborn so many rules to remember when playing solo. Human rules and the Ai rules.

They only target the deck if there are no other faceup cards.

Thanks Mac! You can add the promos in however you wish, and still use the "draw 4" rule.
@@garphillgames Thanks!
Amazing! One for my collection.
I just backed this today! I'm excited for it.
Fantastic

You can score multiple sets. You could even have multiple sets of 4 icons, each worth 9 points.
Hello. I Can develope for 4 Money. Where in manual is wrote about take a card of debt for this action
That is the Paladin ability of Maugris.
@@garphillgames paladin from expansion? Thanks. Great ability.
@@IzabelaM-he5ux Yes
What happens if AI takes a card with the workshop symbol on the top right corner? I've read about it in the manual, but I couldn't understand it.
They gain nothing in that case - the card is just discarded.
Shem quick question negotiate cards 2 of the same symbol 2 VP 3 of the same 5 VP and an ally but 4 unique scores 9 what about 4 of the same?
Unique sets score, not common sets. 2 of the same or 3 of the same is still 0 VP.
