MFizzle777 Yes, the helmet actually reduces sound very well. Since I'm yet age-based not allowed to drive something super fast and super loud, I have to say that mine is not compareable to the sound of a heavy-duty machine. Mine is soundwise just about average!

Normally US Brothers smash me with the dollar convert, and that makes me a HUGE on line buyer!Hope your review is spot on, if so I am busting out waiting for this unit to arrive from Santa.Thanks again for the review. I have the same model. I have almost every feature as shown. All beadings inside. All nuts are marked with ls2 logo. But the red lock (To lock the flipped up position) alone is missing. Can mine be a duplicate?
You would really need to reach out to LS2 to ask that question, since they are the manufacturer. If you bought it from us though it is 100% not a duplicate, but if you bought it from another source we wouldn't be able to say. Although, rolling changes happen to helmets all the time so they may have just swapped a piece. Hi guys from Revzilla, great review as always. i'm planning on buying the new LS2 Metro helmet, and one of the main reasons that i searched for a review is that on the official LS2 website as well as on amazon uk, the helmet in the pictures appears to have some sort of a remote control for answering your phone and some other buttons. it seems that it is fitted on the strap that secures the helmet. it's killing me to find out if this feature comes with the helmet, or if its maybe limited to the European market? thanks keep up the great work guys, you mean a lot to us motorcyclists.
Snell is out dated i hate to say it plus snell certs are not likely to compete with DOT and EDC standards. If a motogp rider can survive their crashes in a NON snell and NON dot helmet with only a EDC standard I'm gonna stick with that after all they have the money for the best of everything and I'm sure they are far more experienced with crashing then the majority. I hate to say it Snell certs is like AKC for dogs just about any helmet can get it just like any dog can be signed up with the AKC also long as there is some form a paper filled out. In the end snell dot or EDC is going to be fine for riding i like to stick with knowing that if it good enough for the pro's then its good enough for my head too.

It is technically removable, but it requires you remove the face shield then remove the shield baseplate screws and finally the chin bar itself. It's best to just leave the chin bar on. -DrewZilla

It really depends if you want a full-face helmet or a modular flip-up helmet. The Vector (now called the Citation) uses a nicer quality fiberglass shell compared to the Metro's polycarbonate shell. So the Vector/Citation has the better shell, but if you want a flip-up chin bar, then you'd want the Metro. -DrewZilla

Sorry Anthony,I just had a phone call from the company to let me know I cant have the helmet I wrote about earlier this morning, as there are no stocks....last one sold more than a week ago, but decided not to change the webpage. this helmet comes with 4 plastic pieces to close those vents... little noisy and the shield mechanics are chip hard plastic... nothing to complaint about a sub 200 usd helmet.... took the helmet on Tampa Florida - Fairbanks alaska Florida and no issues but the noise.... fix it with earplugs....

It is not ideal for enduro riding. I recommend the Scorpion EXO-AT950 instead. It has a modular chin bar like this LS2 Metro but also has a removable peak visor for riding off-road. You can also use the Scorpion with goggles. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/scorpion-exo-at950-helmets

this helmet sucks, do not get it. The neck roll issue is like extremely difficult to come out and put in. The liner bleeds dark marks on your face if you sweat. No eps channels in the EPS underneath the helmet liner. Most Bluetooth and and sena prism tube camera comes with clamps to bolt on to the helmet but because of the hard plastic neckroll thing around the circumference of the bottom of the helmet, you can't sue those and have to use sticky mounts. There is also a hard stitching in the liner in the area of the forehead, which creates a line thin pressure point
Piece of junk .. A year after purchasing gently used and well kept, the Coating start to pill, sun visor mechanism and the chin cover are falling apart, LS2 claim normal wear and tear, & and will not assume responsibilities, what a jock...save your money stay away

Hello & tnx for the prompt replay. I did not order the Helmet via RevZvilla but using local dealer in Orange County California, and they did the best to help me, unfortunately with very little of luck. Seems LS2 aware of their poor quality and refuse to stand behind their product the 5 years warranty is nothing but a fiction, they will claim wear and tear for something that is obviously, defective product, I speak with over 40 years of driving experience, never seen such an attitude ..though gently used and well taken care off, the helmet is falling apart. Period !!!!
Hi O Ben-Ad, I must admit some of the build quality looked slightly questionable, like the fit of the drop down element when it is in the down position. I currently have a Caberg Duke, but it needs replacing soon. Was considering a Metro as it's on sale for £120. I'll go have a look at one in person I think. Cheers.

Got the LS2 PIONEER DUAL SPORT, found the helmet was quite narrow. How about this one comparing to the PIONEER?

Wanted more money for a different colour and not prepared to do the same price.Have to wonder how many people are getting pre-Christmas ph. calls and pressured into paying up after committing to the ad???.Should have seen it coming as with the dollar exchange between Australia and USA there is basically no way to beat your prices. this helmet comes with 4 plastic pieces to close those vents... little noisy and the shield mechanics are chip hard plastic... nothing to complaint about a sub 200 usd helmet.... took the helmet on Tampa Florida - Fairbanks alaska Florida and no issues but the noise.... fix it with earplugs....

I need a helmet for an enduro bike but I use it inside the city, can this helmet serve? If I occasionally use it on dirt roads ?
It is not ideal for enduro riding. I recommend the Scorpion EXO-AT950 instead. It has a modular chin bar like this LS2 Metro but also has a removable peak visor for riding off-road. You can also use the Scorpion with goggles. -DrewZilla

how to remove the front vent cover?
The helmet comes with the front vent covers uninstalled. If you have the helmet with vent covers already installed, you can use a small flathead screwdriver to gently release the plastic tabs holding the vent covers on. Be very careful though! -DrewZilla

Yes, the Metro is the FF324. The Strobe is the FF325. Besides having different outer shapes, the FF325 Strobe uses a more affordable HPTT shell, while the FF324 Metro uses a nicer KPA shell. -DrewZilla

this helmet sucks, do not get it. The neck roll issue is like extremely difficult to come out and put in. The liner bleeds dark marks on your face if you sweat. No eps channels in the EPS underneath the helmet liner. Most Bluetooth and and sena prism tube camera comes with clamps to bolt on to the helmet but because of the hard plastic neckroll thing around the circumference of the bottom of the helmet, you can't sue those and have to use sticky mounts. There is also a hard stitching in the liner in the area of the forehead, which creates a line thin pressure point

Piece of junk .. A year after purchasing gently used and well kept, the Coating start to pill, sun visor mechanism and the chin cover are falling apart, LS2 claim
normal wear and tear, & and will not assume responsibilities, what a jock...save your money stay away

I did not order the Helmet via RevZvilla but using local dealer in Orange County California, and they did the best to help me, unfortunately with very little of luck. Seems LS2 aware of their poor quality and refuse to stand behind their product the 5 years warranty is nothing but a fiction, they will claim wear and tear for something that is obviously, defective product, I speak with over 40 years of driving experience, never seen such an attitude ..though gently used and well taken care off, the helmet is falling apart. Period !!!!
Hi O Ben-Ad, I must admit some of the build quality looked slightly questionable, like the fit of the drop down element when it is in the down position. I currently have a Caberg Duke, but it needs replacing soon. Was considering a Metro as it's on sale for £120. I'll go have a look at one in person I think. Cheers.
