If you can't get your tv up and running, try a new 50" Amazon Fire TV from Amazon here amzn.to/3HguZCU I've been very impressed with the picture and quality of the Fire TV. Woke up this morning and my TV would not turn on, steady red light black screen. Kept trying the unplug press power button heard the same thing on every channel but it didn't work. Then I tried the hair dryer trick! I kept telling myself this isn't going to work. This isn't going to work, tried it anyway. Eureka! Unbelievable! It worked! Thanks for saving me $ by not having to buy a new TV with Christmas right around the corner! 👍🏻👍🏻
House down the street threw a samsung 42 inch out with the remote. Picked it up and tried your methods. Crazy enough, the blow dryer actually worked. Gonna sell it on kijiji and buy my dog some raw food. Thank you for the video. I very much appreciated it.
Sir, Thank you for your video! The hairdryer thing worked! You saved me over $400, and with Christmas around the corner, I definitely needed to get this TV fixed.
My 70" turned off in December of 2023 and it kept turning on and turning off and i didnt know what to do looked alot of video's and was about to throw it away until i decided in march of 2024 to hold the power button down for.more than 30 seconds and it reset itself and came back on and been on ever since with no problems, like new whewwww!!!!!!! Saved me $700 bucks
@@metalll5254 when it was going on and off, I waited until I heard the My Fireplace TV channel and then I just held the button all the way until I seen it reset..I just kept golding it ..try that because I was suprised and I'm still watching it as we speak
So I have no light when I had my TV plugged in at the power outlet. Tested the socket on the outlet and it had juice. But when my TV was plugged in I didn’t have the red light that’s always on when the TV is off. I had to leave my TV off from the socket overnight. Plugged it in, in the morning and everything was back to working. I watched all the vids. I have a little power button on the TV I was told to hold down for 30 seconds. I was also told to hold down the remote power button for 30-60 seconds but nothing, and I mean nothing worked. I also tried removing everything that was attached to my tv - that didn’t help anything. I even got my other Samsung TV plug in and still nothing. I’m still at a loss for why it didn’t work and why it took it being unplugged for over 7/8 hours for it to work. If you have a black screen with no light. Unplug it. And just give it time. I did watch videos of them popping that back of some of the TU7000 series 65” TV to get to the board. Was contemplating that. But thank god it turned on this morning after leaving it unplugged overnight. It was a shitty situation. I thought I had to go buy a new tv. Good luck to everyone. It’s a frustrating think for sure. Also could you tell me why it would turn back on with me unplugging it overnight?
we got the same problem. My parents bought a samsung Oled 903C for the Vacationhome and now i wanna start it but it wont start. The lights are dark and it wont even bother starting. I am keeping unplugged and will try to plug it in in a few hours again.
@@xRob mine is VERY intermittent. I think it’s going to eventually fail. But when it happens there’s no magic trick to get it to turn on. It’s just a waiting game for it to turn on which is ridiculously annoying. We’ve had our TV for maybe 3 years and for it to already be having this issue I think is pathetic. We spend all this money for these nice TVs just for them to mess up. But be patient. Unplug everything from the TV including the power cord. Give it time, that’s all I have gathered. Thank god mine has always eventually came back on. But I definitely think there’s a larger problem to it.
@@xRobyeah I’ve tried that same process with mine and it’s very hit or miss, but mostly miss, but I do believe it has something to do with the power cord or where the panel on the inside of the tv where the power cord connects to the control panel or control board.. 95% the time though I just have to mess around with it and have to wait until the red light comes on then everything starts working again for awhile until it tweaks out again. It’s just a pain in the ass!
Couldn't get my TV on for days. The very first trick turned the video back on, but with blurred horizontal lines. On the the next search for resolution, and THANKS!
I worked in repair shop some years, 90% of all tvs we got to repair were Samsung. It is waste of money -garbage. They last like 2-3 years if they work..Buy Sony tv, they would never let you down.
Sounds like a blown capacitor on the power supply. Open the tv up and you should be able to identify it pretty quick. If you're good at soldering, you can replace the capacitor... otherwise, replace the whole power supply board. They're usually not expensive on Ebay.

Did the hair dryer really work
Why you point the remote for 30 seconds if it’s know power 🤦♀️🤦♀️

Did everything and it never worked. Strange thing is optical connection socket is lit up but not the standby light. So there is power to the TV.
I'm having the same issue
Nothing is working. What a peice of shit. Never buying Samsung ever

Less then 24 hours with having the 83 inch
My screen powers on, but it’s black and the tv isn’t responding to the remote. The image just burned out in the middle of a movie.
Same just happened to me, what did you do
@ nothing yet. It’s still hanging on the wall, dead as can be. Got more important things to deal with IMO
