Thank you for this video. I did manage to turn the TV on but it was looking like yours did in this video. At 1st I thought it had something to do with the ribbon cable, but after watching your video I learned this tv is dead.
I'm curious to see what you think about my issue: I have a Samsung 75 inch LCD (circa 2019) model television. Not sure if you know the answer to this (or anybody watching) but my symptoms are that when you go to turn it on, the (Samsung) logo comes on solid at first… and then these horizontal lines develop (which chops up and dims the picture a bit)... and then the TV shuts off and goes through that cycle again. (And again) for a while… But it does finally turn on within 15 minutes and works fine. Usually for 10 minutes + it reboots, over and over again. When it's just about to turn on and work (which it does usually in less than 15 minutes of letting it cycle like this) it finally gets past the logo and you start to see the main MENU screen, etc. and then the horizontal lines develop and then it shuts off ... and restarts and then FINALLY, it comes on for a few seconds (with the sound of whatever the TV show is that's playing or whatever) then, it usually goes through one more cycle... and then it stays on (and works perfectly, from that point on (until you turn the TV off again). I'm wondering if that's a power board issue (rather than a main board issue, or?). According to the seller who sold it to me, It did start occurring, just after a lightning storm. Do you think replacing the whole power board would do the trick in fixing it? Short of that, is there a particular part (or two) on the power board that would usually be the culprit that I could replace for a lot less money than replacing the whole power board? Even if I have to pay about 125 bucks for a new pwr board, I think it would be worth it. (It's a great TV once it stays on). Thanks!
Hi, I have this same TV. The LED comes on and goes off, and respeats every second. I can hear a clicking sound from the power board. Please advise. Paul
YO! I just fixed my TV with this process... yes the blue tape did NOT 100% fix the issue... HDMI audio out is kind of broken, and there is minor pixels glowing in a small 1/8 of the screen near the center, however from the Sofa, these are difficult to detect even in dark scenes! This Blue Tape is GOLD!
I have the exact same TV model as this and when I get to the step at 6:00 it turns on but no sounds like yours. But I replaced both the main board and the power board with new ones and it isn’t fixed either
Hi my screen was flashing black I tried removing the back panel and covering the pins with painters tape now im getting just a dark blue screen that stays on sound is working fine any suggestions ** I've removed the painters tape** my TV is a UN75TU7900FXZC
I have the same TV however, the control board was hard soldered to the power supply so I cannot do the test you did at the beginning. My TV has the exact same sypmtoms. It powers on and immediately turns off. If I disconnect the panel from the control board, the screen stays on.
I was curious about this as well. I tried the tape trick and the panel ribbon is connected and I have sound but the screen is black even thought the back of the screen is lit and white. And of course my extended warranty runs out literally one week before this happens. Ah! But thanks for this video. It was helpful even if the problem remains.
That would've been cool, but unfortunately, when he says a bad panel, he means the whole LCD screen (yes the whole big huge screen). The price on replacing one of those would be more than a brand-new TV would cost these days. I think that's why he said it was nonrepairable.
I’m never buying another Samsung TV.
Brilliant presentation!!
Excelente información gracias por compartir saludos desde Ciudad de México
Man thank you I just did this tonight and it worked

my tv keeps coming on and turning off again. Could it be the main board?
Mines is doing the exact same thing! Did you find anything out?
@@darryl609 i ordered a main board. Hope that's the issue
@@mcn_o1was it the main board?
@@BlueBanditTheGod waiting on the noard to arrive
@mcn_o1 can you update when you put it in...I seen the t-con board also causes this issue as well. Thanks 😊
Poor quality screens these days
Why is this TV non repairable? You can buy new panel ribbons for $30.
the ribbons is not the problem, they just transfer data to and from the panel

These televisions are too delicate and useless😢😂
