Cheers mate. Your right about the other HF1300 tweeter. Different magnetic etc. Just near field measured them both and yep there's a difference. Back to the drawing board on the tweeters to now 🙈
Just found the channel, and I'm loving watching this series. I've just got some replacement bass drivers for a pair of DM3s my great uncle handed down and am looking to do something similar with the crossover. Any advice you might have for that model much appreciated!
The original capacitors on these hold up well. I measured all the ones I removed and they were all OK. I've used better quality capacitors and new high purity wiring to improve clarity. It really improved the top end performance of these speakers. Lovely sounding midrange to.
Well done Matt.

I have the same speakers in original box, you think i need to fix the filters like you do or just use it ?

Hi . Just looking at ur eBay speakers are theses them ?
Yeah. They are on ebay now.
Great work! Where did you source the poly caps from? I have the exact same speakers and am thinking of redoing the crossovers.
Hi. I had all these in stock but I tend to use either Impact Audio or Falcon Acoustic for crossover parts. Cheers
