3D-glasses are made using different technologies and with different quality. Also, a lot depends on the correct setting of the 3D-TV. Perhaps polarizing glasses will suit you better. This technology is used, in particular, in LG TVs. I strongly advise you to test different 3D-TVs of different companies in the store or with friends. Trust me, the Avatar is really great in 3D!👍

You gotta watch "Alita: Battle Angel", Mary! It's a movie that James Cameron has wanted to make since before this movie, based on a brilliant Japanese manga series. And, in fact, this movie was intended to be the test-bed for many special effects technologies that he felt he needed to perfect before making "Alita". James Cameron didn't end up directing "Alita" because he decided to make approximately 6,000 Avatar sequels, but Robert Rodriguez directed it in his place(who you may know from a little show called "Book of Boba Fett" :P ).

But I guess being a creature from the planet you’d probably never think about it much since it would be all you knew, that’s is if it would even let you have such thoughts.

I'm surprised that I haven't seen anyone really compare this to "Dances with Wolves". When Avatar came out, a lot of people online were calling it "Dances with Smurfs".
My daughters took me to see it in the cinema about three months after its released. I was so amazed! I was so amazed, that I wanted to see it in 2D to see if the story held up without the incredible 3D special effects. A few months later, I was on an international flight, and watched it on a 5"X8" screen on the seatback in front of me. I was just as impressed with the story and characters as I had been by the special effects.
I don't know that I am excited for the sequel coming up, but I know that I will see it. James Cameron, cast, and crew will have a hard time living up to this one.

No, it is not “literally” that film, nor is it derivative any more than the real life stories of the colonizers vs the people whose land they want to take, who are “dehumanized” to make this palatable to the conquerors. In addition, this film is clearly something that touches many on a powerful, visceral level because it isn’t just the “story” but the creative design, the music, the sheer beauty of the world and its spiritual connections that brings something to this as a shared experience that you have apparently missed.

One of the things they (whether intentional or unintentional) tried to do with the scene where they destroy the tree; was make it similar to the 9/11 attacks. The panic on the ground, seeing a structure, a symbol of your power, full of people come crashing down before you and the aftermath of it. Again, not sure how intentional that was but that’s all many people could think when that scene happened.

this movie is straight the story of Native Americans: when he re-united all the tribes in one army it's exactly what Tecumseh did for Native Americans in the late 1700. Everything in this movie breathes native american culture and their history.
I loved it when I've seen it in the theater; and the 3D bothered me too but I made it to the end.

Yeah the way they take care of nature, the way they treat the earth and every living being is the same way I grew up learning the Lakota Native American way.

That Movie reminds me Of Tupac In bolivia That Lead The indigenous To fight Back against The spanish. assembling 40 000 men And laying sièges but unlike This Movie they didn't have nature Come In To save Them And they Lost, and Tupac was executed And His Last words were "I Will Come Back, And I Will Be millions' as Prophecy And It was fulfilled in 2005 when The indigenous People won by démocratic révolution

I did wish they weren't restricted to bow and arrows because the French and Indian War, Revolutionary War and War of 1812 illustrated Native American fighters ability to adapt to new technology and expose the flaws of formalized warfare. (Not saying natives didn't use the technology before those conflicts, those are just the more recognized examples)
