21:22 if you check your bearing tolerances in all your engine builds why dont you check the shimms in all your transmission builds? same level of importance.

these are precision parts. You're taking a huge risk going at it with sandpaper and sanding drums and a Yolo.🥴
Should have used a micrometer to check his clearances and had a machine shop clean up the surfaces with a lathe.

That component you cleaned the splines on has wear from the pins coming into contact with it. That tube powers the front differential

Yes! Always check gear clearances and tolerances when replacing parts. Also ALWAYS use new clips on final assembly.

A brake hone might have worked on the gears.
An adjustable reamer should have done the polishing job just fine
You might have Josh take 2-3% wgdc out of it because of the additional load from the taller final drive
