    The irony of woke ads is they don't feel inclusive. Coverage is almost always limited to blacks and lgbt people. Little people, disabled, elderly, and many others are rarely included.

    • @filmjusticewarrior
      @filmjusticewarrior 5 дней назад +272

      No kidding. They also said, "delete the ordinary " in the ad. So it almost seems like they don't want ordinary, "normal" people. I guess they don't want me either because I'm pretty ordinary. That's okay though because I could never afford their cars anyways. Wouldn't want them if I could.

    • @eFOXize

      But that's because the whole woke movement isn't inclusive at all. The most popular woke topic is oppression of blacks and transgender. You never hear them fighting for anybody else's quality of life, support and opportunities. While all other groups of people are still facing discrimination and unnecessary adversity.

    As a car nerd, it's important to say that Jaguar actually aren't selling any cars right now. They ended new sales of every model in the lineup (except the I-pace EV for fleet & business customers only) this is because they are "going all electric" so they decided to kill all of their internal combustion engine cars without having the electric replacement models ready.
    According to Jag themselves, the new EV models won't be on sale until 2026. Basically, now, they're a car company that's not going to be mass producing cars for about 2 years, so it comes as little surprise to me that they thought this advert and rebranding would be a good idea. Absolutely ridiculous decision making across the board.

They want a luxury car that still lets them claim progressive status points. A Jag is a performance car. It's been mostly successful with people who value driving and looking classy.
