This was so cool. Great work and you’ve convinced me this being is definitely not a demon. I wouldn’t trust myself to be a Primarch but I’d like to have one as my Lieutenant. Or I mean… my buddy.
We know that Lorgar has basically withdrawn after this point, a lot of people seem to think out of fear but I wonder if it is something else. Lorgar saw the warp and the Chaos gods as the truth of the galaxy, and his ascension to demon prince as the ultimate embrace of the truth of reality. Yet, he just saw Corvus in his true state unbound to gods and as he was. In this ascended state Corvus pushed him back, not with the power of the gods or even the power of the Emperor but with his own power. I think Lorgar just figured out he was lied to. He just can’t figure out what that means or what he can do about it.
ya know with that point. isn't that close to what emps sort of want for humanity? for all people to be their own individual independent of others or the warp. a power of their own will. or i guess thats sort of what my few understanding of what the emps want.
Corvus was a freedom fighter, the only primarch that really was it makes sense he would discover the true nature of the primarchs and their ultimate freedom first.
@@NoTimeAllTime kinda cool when you put it that way. corvus not only brought independence for his planet. but also achieved independence within the warp. what a rebel! dudes ain't a mere emo no the dudes a punk!

'Corvus/Sitting on the massive doorstep of Lorgar The Massive Man Baby
The horror and suspense of Corvus slaying the Word Bearers was amazing, and unintentionally gives weight to the theory the Carcharodons chapter are Raven Gaurd successors.
Thank you! A lot of people seem to think that they are from Night Lords geneseed. Except they don't have a tendency to murder innocents in cold blood, and then turn their still-living skin into wallpaper for their rec rooms! 😏
@@SlimRhynothey don't slaughter "innocents" but in one short story they slaughter a hall full of imperium citizens because after demons totally beseiged and tortured the normal non military humans, their leader hoping to save who he can bows to a demon just as a Carcharadon enters. He sees this and slaughters them all.
Dorn summoned his strength to bend the warp to his will and exercised his tremendous powers. When he opened his eyes again, there were twice as many bunkers as before, and they are all gold plated now.
Corvus ripping through the Warp whilst being corrupted by it, looking at the Night Lords for inspiration, fully embracing his immaterial self and forcing his own shape to his will through psychic might and psychic might alone... Looking for Lorgar, Corvus finally proclaims _"You like to hide in the shadows of the Warp then, Brother? So be it. Then I shall become the nightmare that casts it."_
Corvus is my primarch. When I was a teenager I chose the angsty Raven Guard as my chapter and haven't turned back in 15 years. I love the Lorgar v Corax story, but I've always felt it got a bad rap. I love Majorkill, but everytime he mentions "Bird Daemon Corax" I die a little inside. I'm glad you mentioned his shadow walk ability, but I think there is something everyone is missing. The Warp enhances your powers, and conditions them based on who you are on the inside. This usually creates demons and warp entities who turn to their most base desires. Corax has, and always will be, a good guy. He cared deeply for his Legion, like a family, and spent the entire Horus Heresy seeking revenge and using what little he had to run terrorist tactics. He never lost who he was, just wanted to seek justice. He's doing the exact same thing in the warp. Corvus' psychic ability isn't flashy. He projects an image of emptiness into the heads of others. He spent something like 6 months on Istvaan V walking the planet naked, walking into camps and gathering intel. Could he have become a Bird Daemon of vengeance? With metal wings and the ability to turn into birds? Or is he just fighting like a Primarch in a jumppack and lightning claws with the ability to project crazy shit into his opponent's minds? Each point in the battle points to a piece of gear that has been described, but looks different. Lightning coming out of his fingertips, birds pecking at a forcefield, taking flight or ripping apart Word Bearers. I think Corvus is very similar to how he was, but with the significant power increase to he shadow walk.
I like this theory mine was similar if his able to vanish his presence from their mind making it look invisible. Then maybe this is him able to hijack the mind's senses and make them perceive all this when its just him as normal. Because i hate the idea of being able to transform and then bust out into millions of birds and then come back to normal form and his armor somehow is able to gain all his powers too and do all it as well it just sounds stupid.
This theory would make a lot of sense had it also not been explicitly mentioned that the wordbearers from various areas were being Mutilated simultaneously, which would not be possible is he was simply controlling how they perceive him, this transcends that.
@@zpermicide3258Welp, if a pure logician were to read Warhammer 40K stories... wow, applying logic to a fantasy which has demons and gods, hell and faster than speed of light travel through hell which apparently is everywhere and nowhere. You could've discussed logic like how Perturabo, who hated chaos, chose to become a daemon primarch, because that would be applying on a character's personality traits... But a Primarch who himself states that he has discovered their origin to be of the warp, literally called immaterium, is able to break his armor and turn into crows and then again aggregate back to the same in a place Inside this Immaterium, which is NOT material realm, you sought of applying logic here? 🤣😂
It's weird how we had more info about him than any of the other missing primarchs prior to Roboute's return. I am genuinely surprised he hasn't fully returned yet.

Corvax is now made of ravens and shadows. Is Russ made of ale and wolves? Dorn is made of bricks Vulkan is made of hugs Jagatai Khan is made of speed And... Gulliman is made of accountants and toilet seats, isn't he?
The crazy thing is that Lorgar himself couldn’t detect any warp taint on Corvus, which is terrifying, so I am assuming that Corvus is some sort of nightmare creature who we can safely say is a perpetual and or has scary regenerative properties
People talk of transformation to a birddaemon but that isnt the case. Read it several times. Lorgar cant tell difference between Istvaan 3 corvus and corvus facing him off. He boasts and mocks corvus until Corvus reveals to Lorgar that his stealth abilities are also far more stronger than before. And that his terror tactics are not so pathetic of Konrad and his legions torture. Instead his terror tactic is simply to let the enemy now justice has arrived.
Corvus said so himself, that they are made out of WARP. By being inside the Warp for 10k years, he did a training montage and unlocked his ability that he possesed since birth. Just like all the other primarchs. Of course that would mean that they have to be most certainly a couple of thousand years inside the warp to accomplish such a thing.
i know is a gruesome scene but i cant hold my smile and laugh when i see this video , Corvus bringing terror and cries to the demons themselves is so dam badass and funny even better since im a raven guard fan
If we took what corvus said literally then it makes sense. Which might also mean demon primarchs just shot themselves in the foot, they traded their godhood, their soul to become pawns of chaos.
They sacrificed everything they are, just to become a worse version of what they already were. I would go a step further and say that the Primarchs migth be artificiall demonhost tricked into believing themself to be human in the broadest sense of the word.
Corvus is the Primarch the Imperium NEEDS. They have Guilliman, the leader of leaders. They now have The Lion, the quintessential theatre commander. Now, they need The Alpha Assassin, the Infiltrator Prince; they need The Ravenlord. Someone who can get places no one else would even dare. And, once there, still has the raw power and dancer's grace that can slit any throat, and then be gone before the first drop of blood touches the ground. Is Corax the Primarch that mankind wants? Perhaps not. But he is ABSOLUTELY the one that humanity needs. ♠️
@@josephlawler1213 I'm not sure he can look appear as just anyone. He can wraith-slip, and now can morph into various forms of spectral darkness & light, as well as a collective of various blackbirds. But I haven't heard anything about him being able to literally morph his physical being to mimic any living thing. That being said, I have certainly been wrong before, but if that is true, then it only strengthens my argument, as he would become even harder to detect his approach. He is the Alpha Assassin, the Infiltrator Prince, and long may he spread fear and death upon the places that the Imperium of Man's enemies think themselves untouchable!
I want a story about Corvus meeting Leman in the Warp. Corvus floating around as a literal 'Raven of Death.' Leman wandering around, sobbing, picking a fight with every demon he sees.
An OP mutual relationship with his Brother. In real life, Ravens and Wolves work well together to hunt for both to benefit from each other. It would have been OP if Leman also became a Wolven Daemon Primarch and a Shadow Daemon Primarch teamed up against a Lorgar? Oh, he better hope for all of the Chaos gods cause he'll never definitely never gonna resurrect after a battle.
Commenting to hopefully make this visible. Even with my car volume at max the slave's responses are nothing more than a feint whisper. It's not a huge deal as you kindly caption them in your video and I was able to go back and read them, but a little confusing.
When i found out that corvus turned into a raven demon thing yet remained loyal, and even told lorgar something like they "are of the warp" it made me wonder if all the primarchs have some sort of demon form that they unknowingly suppressed even before the heresy.
I mean hey, even GW remembered about Raven Guard with what info we know of the 4th Tyrannic war. We got a new named character(not as a mini) and a bit of lore
Loyalist or in general? Cause Magnus is stupid broken him, now him being the most punk'd of the daemon Primarchs does not help his case but I blame how inconsistent the writting can be.
@@g.sergiusfidenas6650no, Magnus the red Is merely a Husk of One Eye Magnus for His soul is Shattered. So he Is Right now Ultra Mega Nerfed, Angron I would say Is the strongest Daemon primark and Corax as Loyalist, Idk may Khan and Wolf boi have Some serious power ups.
The Lion and Papa Smurf are probably the most powerful, in that order. Lion banished Daemon Angron and Papa Smurf defeated Daemon Morty. Meanwhile, this story took prolly took place nearly 10k years ago, comparably.
The primarchs were made with special warp juice that the Big E snagged from the warp against the Chaos Gods approval. Each and every one of them has a warp entity of decent power within them that gives them their abilities. The traitors pretty much sould their souls to unlock their warp powers but were tainted in return by their Chaos God and became their minions. Corax unlocked his potential without cutting corners and the Lion is in the process of unlocking his by beginning with his forrest walk ability. This opens the doors for other primarchs, including those we believe to be dead, to return or ascend as well; be it like Corax or the traitors. Some speculate that the leader of the damned legion is Ferrus and for all we know it now can be. His physical form was killed but that may have freed his ascended warp form where he now serves the Emperor. Sangy? Alpharius? All possible, except Horus. Horus is dead dead. Lol
Where can I read about the Primarchs having" warp entity of decent power within them that gives them their abilities". Read almost everything but have not come across this specific piece of lore. Is the speculation of Ferrus as the leader of the LOTD also in the lore, or is all of this fanfic?
Corax woke at last. Things went by in a flash. Killing lorgar. Waking up on deliverance. Nasturi...rising,he imediately noticed one of the apothecarys reading. Noting the raven lords rise,he saluted. "It is good to see you up and well lord corax." Corax nodded. "Indeed. Where are corax and guiliman?" "Lord commander guiliman left soon after you were safe after bidding chapter master shrike farewell, the lion soon after left for nihilus." "I see. How long was i out?" "A week. Although, oddly enough you were mumbling in your sleep for some reason." "...i see. Thank you,apothecary..." "Zachariah." Corax nodded and began leaving the medicae. The ravenspire was always usually active when not in full wartime, many raven guard overseeing dutys or tending to passtimes. It was then one of the chaplains saluted. "Greetings my lord, its good to see you awake." "Likewise. Morale is good i take it?" "Indeed, many of us were...rattled when we originally found you, however shrike was able to smooth things over once our job was done upon the world of lionis. ...another thing my lord. Shrike wishes to speak with you." Corax nodded. "Of course, did he say why?" "Well...the chapter master has never been a confident one in his acencion,a topic of discussion shrike has had was the matter of sucsessor. Given you have come back to us,i can only assume that is the reason." Corax nodded. "I appreciate that,i will go see him soon." Corax eventually arrived in the throne room. He mused a little in his head. A fortress home made from a jail. It was then shrike spoke. "I...i never thought wed be speaking truth be told." Kayvann said nervously. Corax smiled a little. "I didnt exactly imagine my path of vengeance ending in any way myself believe it or not. I heard from the chaplain regarding your...confidence as chapter master. Thats what you wished to speak to me about right?" "...yes. my lord ive served as master of shadows for years, and i have sought a worthy sucsessor. But i think it would be more fitting if you lead us. Who better then the liberator to lead us?" Shrike nodded and thought carefully. Then finaly spoke. "Perhaps you are right. But that was 10 milenia ago. I have not fought beside you all, guided any of you or anything of that sort. I will take leadership of the raven guard shrike. But not before i prove that i have that right. You are a exemplar master of shadows kayvann shrike, and a man of virtue, liberty and good, things alien to the cosmos and inperium. And i can think of no better to lead us before i am worthy to lead you in all my mens eyes." Kayvann was stunned into silence. "I...i am grateful my lord." "Rise shrike. In the darkness all are equal save those who give themselves to it. I may be a primarch, but i will not,and i have not forgotten where my story began. So for now,it will be your duty to lead, and my duty to be a man of the people. And i will not leave you to your fates. Never, again." Nasturi...you can see me right? I promise...i will be the man you helped me become. For all of us. For the emporor. To be continued...
Corvus showing that he and Konrad are nothing more than 2 sides of the same coin, both capable of inflict such griesly sights with the right motivantion.
We need him back so badly because he’d be such a unique case but also the ass whooping Corvus would give to anyone and god the Ravenguard are so underrated/overlooked
its interesting that corax seemed to be content with picking the word bearers off one by one from the shadows, at least until they began to target the civilians. after which point he would reveal himself.
I Imagine Vulcan would have a dragon transformation: deep green metal scales, lava dripping from him and stuff. That would be top notch to look at in a model.
Hybrid minis of dragon Vulcan and crow Corvus, I'd buy just 'cuz that'd be sick. Granted I'm not sure I subscribe to the primarch being a daemon, but if he were, it'd be awful poetic to see a daemon ruining other daemons. I like that kinda' stuff, using a foe's power against them.
I like the idea of the Primarchs being partly miner warp gods stabilized in human form. The Lion and Raven could be aging out of their human limitations
Corax is like a dreadful shriek in the night that make any daemon spine shiver. Space marines know no fear...but the Word Bearers...now have experienced it.
I do love the idea of the Primarchs being warp-beings in their own right. It would explain The Lion's forestwalk thing and The Sanguinor. The REAL question here is: how does the imperium, and more importantly their own legions/chapters/successors react to their now obvious warp-touched nature? Will the Raven Guard still accept Corvus as he is now or will they reject him? And the same can be asked for the others. I'm curious how it would play out--assuming it ever does (please GW *pokes with a stick* do something with the other primarchs and legions)
Concept of ascendent Primarch is so cool for me. Firstly - it evens the ground with deamon Primarchs, who are op with power of chaos gods. Secondly, storywise its a great way to reintroduce characters to the current timeline and make us exited. And its great for making speculations what other Primarchs ascensions would look like
@@MrFive2FiveVods yeah most likely he would get scales and his psychic essence would make him look like he is burning like a torch :D. Its an easy one. Like Russ being werewolf xD
@@tincano-beans2114 you mean propably several dozen or hundreds regular Space marines with heavy support/highest technology enganging deamon Primarchs. So what instances are you talking about?
Yes, some day left loyalists will look at the imperium together, people will be on their knees in front of them and they will be like: «we are fked, brothers»
True, Lorgar and Corax will probably come back as a pair so there’s stuff to be built on there. I do wonder if they’ll do Sanguinius and how, currently I’m thinking a kind of physchic fusion thingy between Dante and the Sanguinor. I’d say losing two named characters is a fair trade
@@doot_slayer Has to be three characters. Sangy had 3 souls. The angels of light and dark (red angel) and his mortal soul. All 3 are currently accounted for in 40k between Dante, the Sanguinor and Mephiston.
The Primarchs in my eyes have always been a mixture of the finest genetic engineering and the emperors expert warpcraft, the clue has been dropped many times that they are demi-gods and corax has learned how to embrace that form within the warp
Corvus Corax literally being like Eric "The Crow" Draven while surfing the warp, acting a bit like Venom from marvel with the symbiotic form thing and becoming a Dark Entity with good intentions is awesome
I personally think that it is something that Lorgar learned to do after being in the warp for so long. Tapping into his spirit animal for lack of a better term. When Vulkan fought Magnus he was represented by a dragon. Maybe each loyalist primarch could manifest this when exposed to the warp long enough. The demon primarchs lost this ability when they swore allegiance to their patron god and became an aspect of their chaos patron.
I've always believed the key to defeat Chaos is creating a pantheon of Order that can overpower and subdue the ruinous powers. So hearing Wes call Corvus a "daemon of Order" makes me very happy.
Corvus insinuates that all the primarchs have a hidden form or power. That's backed by the lions warp teleportation through the forest and I guess the salamanders primarchs being immortal. Guilliman may have a hidden ability after all. Or he's so plain Jane he just is an amazing planner with the most standard legion.
@@kamirostorino9416 that is an ability 2 primarchs (Sanguinius and Konrad Curze) already exhibited. Even if he displayed it at late stage I imagine it wouldn't be the only power he was gifted with.
humanoid corvus "wait so you telling me you are forced into building structures while you are promised no form of salvation?" human slave "yeah that about it" monstrous corvux "OH THAT I HATE!!!!"
The thing I want to see is corax spawning into the materium. bridging the gap carrion birds circle overhead, ravens and crows gather in massive swarms. With an eerie intent the ravens gather any objects they can, almost forming a great circle. Suddenly the cacophony ceases, leaving only feathers and the dark shadow of something falling from the sky.
Nicely done. Thorough and backed up with reliable lore. The idea of Lorgar suffering horribly in a trap set by Roboute and Corax makes me happy. All hail the nightmare shadow. May his righteous killing spree continue.
my god i cant believe it i just listened to a horror story with the victims being chaos space marines and a chaos primarch.i cant imagine how scary Corvus has gotten.
Thanks Weshammer! You sure know how to talk about Warhammer mate. As a beginner I can honestly say that you(your wonderful and intricate videos) were DEFINITELY one of the defining factors in cementing my interest in Warhammer 40 k! Thanks a bunch mate. Kind regards, Kirei!
Wes is one of my favorite 40k youtubers for one BIG reason. He actually tells you what books he is getting his info from. He shows the cover, credits the writers and gives the publish date. Even Luetin doesnt do that consistently. I have noticed that MakorKill has started to cite the books and I’m super thankful.
Thank you for making this video, I’m a Tyranid collector who thinks some of the space marines in the new box are too cool to give away and recently decided to make them raven guard, they’re an underdog who care for human life and their primarch is still alive. Epic faction
I love reading the books from the Chaos point of view, so terrifying to see what they are doing in their spare times whilst fighting against something which seemingly is more powerful than them. Love when you read these depictions
I don't think any other Primarchs can ascend (good term) as Corax has. They don't have the singular focus. All of them serve an entity larger than themselves. Corax has ascended because he has dedicated his entire being to an ideal. Much like Abaddon, the Emperor, and, Hell, the Chaos Gods have. Long story short, if you are a creature of immense psychic power, it makes sense to believe in yourself and your mission. Be the change you want to see Corvus!
Also, it is also mentioned that the Emperor said to him privately all of the possible secrets of the universe and maybe even how to manipulate his true nature, to become an ascended being that is not being controlled nor tainted by the chaos, but harness the power of the warp itself. He could do it to the other Primarchs and teach them about it.
@paulandreig.sahagun34 That being the case, it would be neat if there was a small sect of the Inquisition that was dedicated to finding him in the Warp. For one thing, if E trusted him with ALL the secrets, Corax might know how to revive him. For another, Corax wants to use his warp abilities to wipe out all warp-tainted beings in the galaxy, including himself. That's a pretty Inquisition-y idea!
I'd like to add that even though Corax has been developing his powers through 12,000 years and the Lion "just woke up" and learned to Forest Walk, in his novel it's shown that the Forest is basically in the warp. He was guarded by a xenos race that was awaiting for his time to wake up and he wakes up without any memories. Also, he has to spend time meditating and clearing his mind to be able to master this ability. With all that said, it's not that far of a stretch to say thay the Lion could have been developing his abilities all this time, even if he was asleep, and thay Corax's abilities needed another kind of practice to develop themselves - the hunting kind of practice.
My theory is that Khan would become so incredibly fast that he would be observed both in the Warp and in real space at the same time as a full legion of himself.
@@ChaseDaOrk3767 I think people should appreciate fanfiction more. What's so bad about some creative reimagining? If anything it shows appreciation for the world building that people wish to explore parts unknown and lose themselves more in the world the author created.
@@vladtheimpaler9577 Because they don't know when to stop, for the vast vast majority they do not know when a mystery is better left unspoken, they do not know when an issue of scale presents itself, they blow their load and everything after is bland. As Warhammer was not made by a single genius level intellect those same pitfalls can apply to individual writers as well, hence why in certain fandoms the community as a larger whole disregards certain material, such as the pacific rim sequel being the most well known one (to be discarded) Obsessive fans can very well see a mystery and need it answered, overlooking the mystery itself for their next fix, to the detriment of the work itself - that's why it's not mainlined more.
Honestly I love the fact that Lorgar still recognized his brother even after so long and in a different form. Idk to me it feels like a twisted form of love for his brother
Judging from how he appears in his human form before fighting Lorgar and then reappears bloodied and bruised at the end, the conclusion I’ve reached is that he can control and manifest shadows around him but still has some sort of physical root at the middle of his maelstrom. Otherwise I am not sure why he or his armor would take damage if he is just a massive shadow, or why his armor would still be usable to him if he can switch between physical and immaterial at will. Anyway, this is making me wonder if something similar to Corax in this story happened to Leman Russ, since the Space Wolves found his armor in the Temple of Horus when they searched the Eye of Terror. If we can have a Raven made of pure shadow fighting against the Daemon Primarchs, imagine a Wolf of the same nature joining him. That is a book I want to see.
That sounds awesome. I always thought that the ravens and the wolves would have good synergy in battle. Leman to take the fight head on but still having the mind of a hunter while Corvus remains hidden but springs out in a brutal fury. Kinda like Gork and Mork in a way
Agreed. Especially since Leman Russ was the Emperor’s executioner, so him joining Corax on a crusade for vengeance against the traitors would make a lot of sense.
Loved this video. Great editing, great content, not wasting too much time while still taking a moment to speculation and theory crafting. Congratulations! Hope you can make many more of these!
Corax was always overlooked by many dispite being one of the better combat Primarch's. Now imagine Sanguinius fully embracing his Warp, nothing but the Emperor could stop him.
I'm still very new to Warhammer but so far the raven guard has to be my favourite legion so far. I'm a sucker for the black armoured look and the idea of a legion hiding in the shadows waiting to rip enemies apart with lightning and claws is so cool in my opinion.
I fell like an ascended Leman would have an ability related to Fenris where he can replicate a bone chilling blizzard anywhere just like those on Fenris
it actually makes sense that Corvus would operate actively on Sicarus, it´s like a throwback to his liberation of Lycaeus.....maybe GW trying to set something up and Corax will actually fck up Word Bearer´s own homeworld? Would go along well with his "Liberator" nickname from the past, although I´m not sure how much help he could get from tortured slaves lol
Not sure how much a group of people inured to horrors with nothing to live for on a planet where only the wards are holding out literal daemons from hell can be helpful? Ask again after a few suicide squads bring down the wards.
@@Demicleas Not likely anything good. Either the wards failed without the Word Bearers to maintain them, wiping them out; or a sorcerer takes control of the population and they end up the same they were before
If the theory of Corax actually being locked in the Raven Spire and this apparition is a psychic manifestation of his powers, Holy Crap. Either way, CC is epically strong and Loyal. Cool.
I feel like Corvus Corax is a tale of tragic circumstances, though he remains loyal, his condition makes everyone, including himself, seen as traitorous. I only hope that in future stories, he would get his redemption, perhaps with a happy ending with either Roboute or Lion.
It also just makes sense that the primarks that comes back get some new power. The traitors turned into demons and that was their thing, so now it’s the others turn
Actually I have a theory about all of this. When they first revealed how Corax became "Invisible" I thought what if he could reverse it? What if instead of psychically telling a mind "You don't see me", Corax can tell the mind to see him a certain way. Similar to the glamor of the Emperor, but uses it to disguise himself as other "things". I always wondered if he could do it, and I think he can.
in a logical and practical standpoint i agree. consider that if you have the ability to control perception than it naturally would go both ways in different shapes and levels. i mean his entire emo is to adapt based on enviorment to his advantage rather than lets say magic, raw power or strategy.
In my head cannon all the found primarchs had different memories implanted after the lost 2nd and 11th. Sort of like the emperor told them each one know the most info on what happened but only that primarch could be trusted. Since Corax wasn't found yet the emperor had to tell him the truth so Corax wouldn't hear all the different stories and start snooping. That's why he was told about the warp and given the rapid gene seed process. It also let him learn how to use his warp powers with out the chaos gods tempting him. On a side note, I think that's why the emperor trust the Lion so fully, because he didn't need to erase the lost primarchs from his mind.
I think it's clear every Primarchs has some degree of psychic ability, whether they're overt and general like Magnus, specific and physical like Corax's stealth, specific and mental like Sanguinous or Kurze's foresight, or specific and emotional like Angron's former empathic ability. The Lion literally dreaming up a warp-adjacent ghost of Caliban during his long sleep fits. That gives the writers a lot of fertile ground to play with after 10k years.
There is no shred of doubt in my mind that Leman’s power will be turning into a giant wolf on demand. Khan will have extra super speed or even stop time for a period, Corvus is crow boy already, And Vulcan will be able to spew fire like a dragon and regrow limbs almost instantly.
Love your content g it got me into warhammer and back into reading (I’m dyslexic), I just wanted to say I remember your notice (idk how else to word it) and I hope you’re taking time off and enjoying shit, I can’t speak for everyone but as much as I love your content the community can wait if it means a better quality of life for you as I’m sure a solid majority of the community feel the same way, nothing brought this on other than I randomly remembered the notice and hope things are going amazingly 😁
Could be fun if the chaos maybegod Malal has been helping Corvus out. A blanket hatred of the chaos gods and desire to hurt them all in any way possible sounds like something it would love.

Except he's not at all corrupted by the warp
Because i hate the idea of being able to transform and then bust out into millions of birds and then come back to normal form and his armor somehow is able to gain all his powers too and do all it as well it just sounds stupid.
that makes an incredible amount of sense
100% agree brother
This theory would make a lot of sense had it also not been explicitly mentioned that the wordbearers from various areas were being Mutilated simultaneously, which would not be possible is he was simply controlling how they perceive him, this transcends that.
@@zpermicide3258Welp, if a pure logician were to read Warhammer 40K stories... wow, applying logic to a fantasy which has demons and gods, hell and faster than speed of light travel through hell which apparently is everywhere and nowhere. The crazy thing is that Lorgar himself couldn’t detect any warp taint on Corvus, which is terrifying, so I am assuming that Corvus is some sort of nightmare creature who we can safely say is a perpetual and or has scary regenerative properties

@@Scheisskopf79 well corvus is able to be whatever he is now and somehow doesn’t have any warp taint
What are you talking about? When does Corax regenerate in this story?
Local goth literally too angry to be stopped and be corrupted by anything but his endless hatred

"I'm Batman"
Dude I can't begin to tell you had badly I needed that laugh today. Wonderful video Wes.
"I have your scent now, Lorgar."
That's....one hell of a threat lol
Imagine if Corvus unlocked that transformation early. He would have been prime material for Chaos Corruption.
Well, in both the Dornian Heresy & Roboutian Heresy AUs, he did become a lovecraftian Daemon Prince iirc
@@ChaseDaOrk3767 I think people should appreciate fanfiction more. What's so bad about some creative reimagining? If anything it shows appreciation for the world building that people wish to explore parts unknown and lose themselves more in the world the author created.
@@vladtheimpaler9577 I can see where you're coming from
You shut your mouth, the Raven Guard belong loyal
@@vladtheimpaler9577 Because they don't know when to stop, for the vast vast majority they do not know when a mystery is better left unspoken, they do not know when an issue of scale presents itself, they blow their load and everything after is bland.
As Warhammer was not made by a single genius level intellect those same pitfalls can apply to individual writers as well, hence why in certain fandoms the community as a larger whole disregards certain material, such as the pacific rim sequel being the most well known one (to be discarded)
Obsessive fans can very well see a mystery and need it answered, overlooking the mystery itself for their next fix, to the detriment of the work itself - that's why it's not mainlined more.
My favourite part was when Corvus said "Its Corvin time" and then proceeded to Corax all of the Word bearers.
This is the most idiotic thing i have read all day and i still laughed my ass off 😌 be proud
Ascended Guiliman be like: “I HAVE MASTERED MICROSOFT EXCEL AND GOOGLE SHEETS!!!”
0:14 Rowboat Girlyman
Rubberboots Gendered Ham
Robot Gruyère
Rawbooty Gorillaman
Robot the Girlyman
24:21 Probably for the first time Lorgar felt fear for his life, he's seeing Corax's "monstrous" visage. A monster that will never stop hunting him.
This just made Corvus my favorite primearch. Just imagine what volcan could do? Demonish fire slamandar
Honestly I love the fact that Lorgar still recognized his brother even after so long and in a different form. Idk to me it feels like a twisted form of love for his brother
Loyalist Daemon Primarchs? Yeah, that sounds about right. Makes sense for where the setting seems to be headed anyway at least! I like it!
Now imagine Sanguinius fully embracing his Warp, nothing but the Emperor could stop him.
you killed me with the small batman bit, cause I was already doing it while corax was talking
I'm still very new to Warhammer but so far the raven guard has to be my favourite legion so far. I'm a sucker for the black armoured look and the idea of a legion hiding in the shadows waiting to rip enemies apart with lightning and claws is so cool in my opinion.
I fell like an ascended Leman would have an ability related to Fenris where he can replicate a bone chilling blizzard anywhere just like those on Fenris
nah im pretty sure his ascended power is being a wolf. i mean the entire faction is a meme of itself
Viking Werewolf with a lance, who calls tunderstorms nicknamed wolfstorms
That is an image
@aligaterr5137 ok I usually don’t like the Space Wolves but that sounds pretty fucking cool
it actually makes sense that Corvus would operate actively on Sicarus, it´s like a throwback to his liberation of Lycaeus.....maybe GW trying to set something up and Corax will actually fck up Word Bearer´s own homeworld?
Would go along well with his "Liberator" nickname from the past, although I´m not sure how much help he could get from tortured slaves lol
Not sure how much a group of people inured to horrors with nothing to live for on a planet where only the wards are holding out literal daemons from hell can be helpful? Ask again after a few suicide squads bring down the wards.
This is true I do wonder what happened to the freed people of sicarus after the word bearers fled.
Cool.
You're the first Warhammer content that I've seen on Tik Tok and the reason why I got onto 40k lore
I feel like Corvus Corax is a tale of tragic circumstances, though he remains loyal, his condition makes everyone, including himself, seen as traitorous. I only hope that in future stories, he would get his redemption, perhaps with a happy ending with either Roboute or Lion.
Man, I love these short stories so much! Keep up the good work wes
Corvus Corax when he sees Lorgar: It's morbin time
It also just makes sense that the primarks that comes back get some new power. The traitors turned into demons and that was their thing, so now it’s the others turn
When Vulkan comes back he gets Guilliman’s respawn but better lmao
G-Man got none unless being used by the Emperor as a puppet counts, the flaming sword is cool though.
@@g.sergiusfidenas6650 the flaming sword perma kills demons, that is his power.
When all the Primarchs keep killing each other because they've all become their Warp Entity selves and just keep respawning after dying
@@g.sergiusfidenas6650rowboat is different seeing as he needed to be healed i think
"I'm Batman." Lmfao dude, that was so perfectly placed. Comedic fucking win right there.
Russ has been in the warp aswell. He could have been affected with a similar fate. Mutated into a large Wolf.
Dark apostle: omg it's a daemon
Lorgar: lmao it's no daemon *it's worse*
I think it's clear every Primarchs has some degree of psychic ability, whether they're overt and general like Magnus, specific and physical like Corax's stealth, specific and mental like Sanguinous or Kurze's foresight, or specific and emotional like Angron's former empathic ability. The Lion literally dreaming up a warp-adjacent ghost of Caliban during his long sleep fits. That gives the writers a lot of fertile ground to play with after 10k years.
There is no shred of doubt in my mind that Leman’s power will be turning into a giant wolf on demand.
Khan will have extra super speed or even stop time for a period,
Corvus is crow boy already,
And Vulcan will be able to spew fire like a dragon and regrow limbs almost instantly.
Wake up honey new Weshammer video just dropped!
Could be fun if the chaos maybegod Malal has been helping Corvus out. A blanket hatred of the chaos gods and desire to hurt them all in any way possible sounds like something it would love.
I need a horror show based around random chaos marines encounters with Corvus corax
Corvus Corax: Imperium don't want you to know this but Chaos Mutations in Warp are free. You can take them home. I have over 458 Mutations
