Got out, did a few years as a bailiff, got married (and is still married to her), joined the Navy with the easiest job that they have, tour guide on the USS Constitution. Realised that the advancement was lousy, went back to the Army and saw time in Iraq and Afghanistan. Several IEDs, not a scratch. Maxed as a noncom, got out and has worked with a military contractor ever since. He said, "Same uniform, same weapons, but overtime." 😁
