  • During the 2021 MLB season, Shohei put up numbers that many analysts thought can never be done. Ohtani hit 46 home runs and drove in 100 RBI on the season. We are truly witnessing the modern "Babe Ruth."

If this video does well, I may consider putting out more MLB content!

God… not gonna lie. When he hit that ball about 6 inches high out of the zone. How on gods green earth can you do that? He grabbed that ball out of the air faster than a cat with a feather. I had the same reaction as the announcer. I’ve never seen anything like him. My favorite player ever. And I’m a giants fan.
I mean man. Some of those hits. It’s like you can hear the announcer on the verge of tears. If you’re a baseball fan, this is the most beautiful thing you’ve seen in a while. God, he’s awesome. A bonafide monster.

This season left me amazed at how any batter today could attack the records. The second half of the season was about teams avoiding Ohtani.

It was sad to see him decline a bit in the 2nd half of the season. Nonetheless, still an MVP caliber season. Let's see if it's a miracle that he beats out Vlad Jr.

Always believed that more than one IBB per game should be illegal.....Legit or not,Barry Bonds would have finished with like 80+ in 2001
2003 he was intentionaly IBB 130+ time. This is ridiculous...

That final game was a perfect microcosm of Shohei's year at the plate...a HR, a walk, a strikeout swinging, and a rape and battery third strike call on a ball so far outside the zone it needed to be checked through customs at Narita.

0:28 home run #2 was hit really really hard, what a sound off of the bat.

“Too sexy for the catwalk!” That Angels announcer is on something we humans haven’t discovered yet

Because of either intentional or deliberate walks Shohei didn't realize his full potential. Shame on you MLB!! for cheating and robbing Shohei Ohtani out of maximum HR's this season. Shame!

Yep, couldn't agree with you more. I'm a Dodger fan, and when we played the Angels a few months ago, Roberts intentionally walked Ohtani. He's a generational player.

I love how increasingly hype the commentators get as Ohtani goes deeper into his first breakout season
