I love watching the pitcher's reaction as soon as Ohtani's bat creates that beautiful crack of the ball. Most don't even bother to look at it.
The sound of his home runs is undeniable.
Last one was so far that they couldn't even track where it landed.
And that last one was a longest home run of the 2023 season. So many records this guy breaks and holding.
Last one should of left the stadium at 493ft.
You can tell the elite HR hitters from the average Joes. When Ohtani hits a Home run, there are few outfielders chasing it. They hear the sound and get out their binoculars to find out where it went. All 9 fielders just turn around and watch it land. That's how you know elite power.
This year, he’s hit 9 home runs over 450 ft.
Until this year, the most a team has ever had combined over 450 ft, was 5.
Year isn’t over yet.
Another MVP this year, I bet.
good bet
The sound. They can't use the sound of that first HR for all VGs.
I want to see you hit a home run with my own eyes.
thank you for your work, i don’t see enough about ohtani considering he’s the greatest player to ever walk the earth
The pitchers that don't even turn around. Those are the best.
Agreed! Love those.
Last one left the stadium

Funny how so many came after 2020, in fact all listed here (and he's added some in 2024) Clearly, he's juicing since 2021.
You forgot 4
Come on, Statcast...give him the extra 7' on that last rocket!
