1000 English Archers vs 5000 French Knights - Medieval 2 Total War

English archers with deployed sharpened stakes could win a heavily armoured French army. Could they win this battle without stakes and a 1:5 army ratio.

In the Battle of Agincourt, the knights were slowed down by mud, ditches, rain, spikes and traps and there was infantry cover for the archers.

Not a very useful video. Archers would have been protected by lines of infantry, never left in the open.

Yep but they would win easily in that case. Using melee and anvil and placing archers sides after melee engagement makes the enemy bleed steadily in this game.
