The only way of achieving the same results with zombies is to have thousands of them in a single file stack one on top of the other but it would fall over before it got anywhere near that

Well the mythology dictates that a Terminator is a machine that is invulnerable to biological hand to hand combat. Zombies are mythalogically incapable of thought or tactical warfare so no matter how long it takes, the Terminator will enevitably destroy every one of them. The only scenario that ends in the terminators demise would be the one in which there are so many zombies that the terminators battery runs out before it can kill all of the zombies. But even if that happened the zombies didn't win, as the Terminator simply died of natural causes

Maybe not in this scenario. I'd bet those energy weapons use the same nuclear power cell as the Terminator itself. A T-800's nuclear power cell has enough energy for a T-800 to function at full capacity for 3 years. Up to 120 years at reduced capacity.

T-800 endoskeletons have more Range of Motion than humans and actually need to deliberately restrict their RoM when skin covered. They can run at a much higher average speed for longer than any human.
