    I'm glad you went over the hydroseeder and tank stuff - good information. Hope all works out on the 315 case.

    That was good! I enjoy watching what you do and HAVE TO SAY about HYDROSEEDING. I tilled a good section of my yard about 10 years ago. Pulled out all sort of red roots near the surface. Anyway when done and raked I wanted HYDROSEED and couldn't believe the difference in people who do it. THANK YOU - Nice Work!!!

    Great video, I have been in business for 28 years . Only piece of equipment we dont own is a hydroseeder. Always sub out but he's up to 16 cents a square foot. Thinking of purchasing turbo turf unit . Here in new England we use wood mulch to prevent wash out . Thanks for sharing

    Cool video! One our local landscapers actually spread the seed with a push spreader and then spray the fertilizer and mulch over it. They feel they get better/consistent coverage that way…I have no idea if it’s better or worse but it works for them.

    • @DirtBrute
      @DirtBrute  7 месяцев назад

      I’ve actually done it that way and you get more coverage but the growth comes out bad I think because it not in the mulch it’s under it . We tried it twice and didn’t like it. If you mix it correctly with the right square footage it should come out good.

    Hey Dirt Brute Steve, glad to see you back !!!! I know you are busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest, would it be possible to get a detailed parts list other than tank and frame, so I can build one off these? Thank you sir

      You basically just need a bunch of banjo 2 inch valves I got off Amazon. 2 inch irrigation hose And a bunch of pvc pipes . Best thing to do is sit down and figure out what you’re gonna do Exactly and then start looking through Amazon

    Hey Steve, just wondering if you have a video (or could make a video) on why you changed out your original agitation manifold? Did the 1 inch lines not work or just wanted more flow to roll the tank? I understand the reason for moving the jets to the legs for sure. I'm going to be putting my own skid together next week up here in Canada and found your video really helpful! Just want to make sure it's going to be fully functional first shot. Thanks!

    • @DirtBrute
      @DirtBrute  2 года назад +1

      The 1” lines don’t roll the tank as good and the 1” elbows clogged.

  • @mudd2.090
    @mudd2.090 Год назад

    Hi do you think it would make much difference running a separate motor and pump for the jet agitator and another for the application hose

    • @DirtBrute
      @DirtBrute  Год назад

      It would probably work great but you would be having to maintain 2 engines and more plumbing .plus it would take up a lot more room and weigh more .

    what all do you put into the mix and ratio? in the process of building one of these in KY

    • @DirtBrute
      @DirtBrute  8 месяцев назад

      We do 12-17 pounds per 1000sq foot of seed and the mulch pellets are one bag per 150 gallons of water. Sometimes we use a blue grass, Rye & fescue mix. Or just rye depending on what the job is . You just have to go to your local supplier see what’s available in read the mixtures on the bags or the bales

    • @DirtBrute
      @DirtBrute  2 года назад

      Well here’s the thing. I don’t charge per square foot . I triple the cost of materials. I know a lot of guys around here are getting anywhere from $.18-$.22 a square foot. I try not to do small jobs. The reason is for example. I priced a small job $.18 per square foot one time and it worked out to be $270.Then when I went to go buy the materials it was $336 Just for me to buy the stuff. I guess you could double the cost of the materials and still be OK
