Hey everyone! So many of you have asked me about this verse and what it means. Many people have even used it as proof that you can lose your salvation. However, I hope that this video clears up some confusion as to the correct meaning of this verse so that Christians no longer have to fear reading it. Enjoy and, as always, let me know your thoughts below!

I hope this will help my brothers. (In Matthew 7:21 Jesus is talking about future Gentile nonbelievers, that he never knew them.) This is the future judgment for Gentiles only. 👇 Keep in mind that there are other Judgments in the bible but I'll be answering only one =Mat 25:31-46 *Future Gentile believers need works to have eternal life. Examples----- *Mat 25:32 (all the nations) are the Gentiles only, cross reference with Joe 3:1,2,12 *Mat 25:35-40,46 (the sheep) need to do or have works to have eternal life *Mat 25:41-46 (the goats) did not do or have not works so they go away into everlasting punishment *Mat 25:40,45 (the least of these My brethren) and (the least of these) is Israel only, cross reference with Jhn 20:17/HEB 2:16,17 = this verse must be read in King James bible. Most bibles are wrong in this verse.

Last night I asked God to explain verses like the one you referred to here. It shouldn't surprise me, yet I'm always surprised by how fast He answers prayers like this. I've been watching cooking video etc, so the fact that the algorithm decided to recommend THIS video to me is amazing. Paul thought he was the worst of sinners, but I know it's actually me and I'm so grateful God never turns from me in disgust, but always shows me love and forgiveness.
I’m studying Exodus right now and bringing up Moses and the magicians helped me immensely because I had not heard it put the way you said it -“just because they can do it doesn’t mean it comes from God” amen
It is a hard thing though cause you have to be careful. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is the unforgiveable sin. The thing I would struggle is if you think something in your head is coming from God. You're supposed to test it cause it might not be. But is it not written that you shall not put the Lord your God to the test? And when people say question whether it is good or evil. But did the Lord not ask Abraham to sacrifice his son to Him? Many people would say that was evil. Yes, I know God did stop him but I think people understand where I'm coming from. It's a hard thing. I'm always leary of people saying God told me this or showed me that. The Bible also warns of false prophets.
@@lameishawest2461 Except Jesus says in matt 12 that casting out of demons cannot be done by the spirit of the devil... So therefore in order to cast out demons you must be saved. We see this exemplified when the seven sons of Sceva tried to use the very name of Jesus to cast out demons and were not successful, it's because they weren't saved! So these people in Matt 7:21 had to be saved at one point in order to cast out demons. Matt 12:24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils. 25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: 26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? Some will try to say "they thought they cast out demons"...but notice Jesus doesn't call them liars and tell them they didn't actually do those works. So you cannot make that claim truthfully.
I have terrible anxiety and OCD and constantly struggle with doubt, I began praying on the floor, but when I resumed watching this video it I had apparently paused right before a part where he says I have never knew you, and my anxiety and OCD are having trouble passing this off as a coincidence or as a way of being told I’ll never be saved. I just want to be free from this burden of a toxic mind, but I’ve been stuck with it for so long now.
@@mr_paintguy listen again and pay attention to the believe part. That's literally all God wants. He wants you to believe in him and him only. Nothing you can do can add to that. And nothing you can do can take away from that. He loved you before you were saved, and he doesn't love you more now. He still loves you as much as he did when he died on the cross. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you to believe in him alone and for him to bear witness to that in your heart. There's nothing to worry about not doing because there's nothing you can do to contribute to your salvation. Evil lies to you to make you doubt that, but evil has been defeated. Read Ephesians 1 vs 18 to the end of the chapter. What is lying to you has been defeated. You don't need to believe the lies any longer. Read the gospel of John, and you will see that what Jesus said you must do is believe. That is all. Just believe.
The real scariest verse in the Bible in my opinion, “And anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:15 CSB Edit: Wow this got a lot of feedback. When I said this was the scariest verse I did not mean that it threatens the salvation of believers but meant that it is scary to know that many people will be thrown into the lake of fire just as it is written, “It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God” I am terrified for the people whom this verse is talking about, however, as the evangelist Ray Comfort says, fear can be a good thing because it motivates us to avoid danger. Therefore, we should be afraid by this verse and it should motivate us to warn the lost not waste our time with foolish quarreling (Titus 3:9). Let’s get out there and fulfill the Great Commission! (Matthew 28:19) God Bless you Allen for making this video and clearing up a difficult passage of Scripture. And may the Lord’s favor be on all of you as you seek to save that which is lost!
@@jaceemmanuell2374 If it makes you feel any better, once you have surrendered to Christ as The God of your life, and you clearly care, this isn't you! We do good works because we love Him, not as a way to get in. Alternately, we all still sin. We try not to sin, and rely on God's strength to help us overcome sin. We will continue to fight and overcome thru Christ until we get to Heaven. It is once we are in Heaven that our fleshy nature is removed, along with temptation Sin won't happen there, but we all fall from time to time here. Only God is sinless. @@kathybrown8497 No offense but NO! The scripture teaches EVERYWHERE that we are NOT worthy. In fact, realizing you're not worthy is one of the conditions for salvation! It's called repentence. Jesus Himself even explained it in the story about the Pharisee and the tax collector in Luke 18. The tax collector was saved precisely because he realized that he wasn't worthy. He pounded his chest and begged for God's mercy because he was a sinner. Being loved (not feelings) and being worthy are 2 totally different things.
Great commentary. Many years ago when I was asking the Lord about this passage and if I would be one of these, he spoke to my heart and said "What is the one thing that the people in this group are NOT saying to me?" And it became clear to me that those in this group had never said "But we called out to you and placed our trust in you for the forgiveness of our sins!". Thanks for putting this together brother.
That's 100% wrong. This has to do with obedience and keeping the law of Christ. The Christians in Matthew 7:23 are the sola fide Christians. That faith alone is a heretical doctrine leading millions to hell. How do we know Jesus so we don't hear I never knew you? 1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that WE KNOW HIM, 👉🏻 *IF we keep HIS commandments* 👈🏻 You must keep 👆🏼 the law of Christ. That doesn't make sense, if you're applying that to God. Our love towards Him is not what saves us, nor could it be. Neither is it our works. We cannot merit 'being saved': we cannot merit having our transgressions being covered, just as a criminal cannot walk after robbing a bank by saying to the judge "I love you a lot!" or "Look at the things I've done in your name because I love you!" "On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’" (From Matthew 7) ==== Thank you for your time. Thanks. I’m just trying to compare scripture that seems like it’s contradictory. The book of James makes the case that just believing isn’t enough, so do the demons. In other places The NT says “if you believe and obey His commandments”. Well how much obedience is required? How many times can I fall short? Did the thief on the cross obey his commandments?
God’s light shines through HIS people. So He will see his children because His light is in us. Don’t worry about this if you’re doing His will. I remember when this verse used to scare me but through reading and understanding scriptures more it’s no longer scary.
HAHA, i just re-watched 'Revising God's Prophecy' by 'Holy Koolaid' Holy s-it, one of the funniest videos ive ever seen. I really wanna recommend it to everyone. I have no bias here: Everyone. Every-one.
You know, I am ordinarily the one always saying to others "READ IT IN CONTEXT!" yet when it comes to this verse, I've allowed myself to completely ignore my own advice and have worried over it (unnecessarily) for far too long. I cannot tell you just how grateful I am that you made this video, Pastor Allen. After listening to your explanation and re-reading the entirety of the chapter, I can't believe I allowed myself to ignore what it actually was saying all this time. I feel like a bit of a dummy, actually!
It doesn't help that alot of Bibles divide it from Matthew 7: 15-20. Plus, well known preachers use these verses and preach as if it is talking to everyone.
@American Jello... I agree with you 💯 percent!!! I know I have faith in Jesus and his work on the cross, but I must admit, this verse rattles me from time to time. All I can say is Amen!!!!
The spirit of deceptions number one tool is to try to cause believers to fall back to an old covenant mentality and lose trust in The Finished Work of The Cross. The truth is The New Covenant Reality, you are accepted "In Christ". Paul calls this "the mystery" of The New Covenant. Truth is, all we have to do is accept we have always been accepted. The deceiver hates that truth , because he hates The Truth. Peace American Jello
This is by far one of the best explanations of this verse, because I too wonder if it’s enough at times, and judge myself according to works, when the work is already finished. We just have to continue to fight the fight of faith and grow in faith! Again thank you Pastor Allen!
Daniel King, I hear you. Faith without works is dead. We have to work towards Jesus and pick up our cross and follow him. Yes, we are saved through faith alone but with that faith comes responsibility. Accepting Jesus as our Savior doesn’t give us a license to sin and not follow our Heavenly Father. The demons believe Jesus died for us and we know their fate.
I agree with both of you, people who teach that faith is all we need to enter the kingdom are producing a lukewarm spirit within God's people who are eager to serve him. Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people *zealous of good works* James 1:22 Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. Now its very important to understand, these works we do for God are not by our own power, the works are done and glorified by God's power working in us and through us. Colossians 1:29 To this end I also labor, striving according to *His working which works in me mightily* Ephesians 1:19 And the surpassing greatness of *His power to us* who believe. These are in accordance with the working of *His mighty strength* Philippians 4:13 I can do all things *through Christ* who strengthens me 2 Corinthians 12:9 I will boast more gladly in my weaknesses, so that *the power of Christ may rest on me*
It's always an encouragement to hear that a video has helped someone in their walk with Christ! Thanks so much for watching and for your comment, Mike Sampont

Trust Christ, meaning be confident in your salvation-that you're saved, while being accountable to our LORD. Glory is to Christ only. 💝 Hebrews 10:9-10;16-18 "then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second." "By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all." "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,” then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin."
But you do right by repenting of your sinful deeds even though you're saved. John tells us in 1John that real Christians do that on a regular basis! It's a part of being saved.

Lamentations 3:22-24. What is past is past! My ex GF use to struggle with the meaning of this passage and the lack of understanding of the scriptures opened the door for the enemy to come in and cast doubt on who she was in Christ, her salvation, and instill fear. However, if you read the scriptures about the temptation of Jesus in the desert and read carefully what Satan said to Christ, he attempted to do the same thing to the Son of God. It says in Matthew 4:3: "Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.". Notice how Satan words the sentence. He didn't say "You are the Son Of God,..." he said, "If you are the Son Of God..." it's a stark difference from the other evil spirits Jesus encountered. Notice the difference in Luke 4:41 when it stated: "Moreover, demons came out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew he was the Messiah." In this verse, the demons shouted that He was the Son Of God. They didn't question if He was or was not, they knew who He was and acknowledge His divinity So this gives more weight that Satan's attack wasn't just on the weakness Christ was experiencing in His flesh at the moment but also an attack on Christ's identity in an effort to instill doubt and fear in hopes of leading Christ astray.

@@starockprince3163 Yes, but you are considering what Jesus stated about God’s WORK at John 6:29 BUT at Matthew 7:21 Jesus was discussing the WILL of God. These are two different terms that should not be conflated. You fell for the bait and switch. Also, Allen used a translation that supported the teachings he wanted to promote in this video. Out of 4 translations the only one that inserted the word “ONLY” in John 6:29 is the NLT. So, Allen ONLY used that translation because it included a word he could use to BOLSTER his position. JOHN 6:29 (NLT) Jesus told them, “This is the *only* work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.” JOHN 6:29 (NIV) Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” *(No only)* JOHN 6:29 (ESV) Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.” *(Again, no only)* JOHN 6:29 (KJV) Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. *(once again, no only)* So, not only did Allen not correctly discuss the *WILL* of God but he also substituted it with the work of God and chose to use a translation that bolstered his position with the inclusion of the word *ONLY* at John 6:29.
@@Failur3i5n0tan0pt1on Alright I understand what you're saying, I'll need clarity tho on what you believe is the "Will of God" that Jesus talks about in Matthew 7, because before you can ahead and accuse Allen of trying to push an agenda we need to understand that there's one that he is trying to avoid, because if there isn't another one, well that just means whatever agenda he's seemingly pushing is the Truth.
@@starockprince3163 First, it’s not what I “believe” it’s what does the BIBLE TEACH regarding the *WILL OF GOD.* Let’s first established that our savior Jesus made a clear distinction between the work of God and the WILL of GOD. Jesus amade the claim that he was doing the *WILL of God* and according to Allen’s bait and switch technique that conflated the terms *WILL* and *WORK* this was only to believe in Jesus ie the one God sent. So, did Jesus simply need to believe in himself since he was the one God sent in order to do God’s will? Preposterous! Unlike Allen, Jesus didn’t conflate the two words of WILL and WORK. He made a distinction. JOHN 4:34 - Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the *WILL of him* *who sent me* AND to *accomplish* *his WORK.* Jesus stated his food was to do God’s will AND accomplish the work of God. Also read *JOHN 5:30* where Jesus speaks about doing God’s will then apply it to EVERYTHING Jesus said and did since everything Jesus did was in line with God’s will. Jesus didn’t do anything according to his own will which indicates all his actions were performed in accordance with the will of God as he himself expressed. So, who is more credible? Jesus? Or, Allen? Whom do you follow? 🤔
Thank U Brother Allen for this post right here! Each point became clearer as the Bible explains itself. I’m most likely going to teach on this immediately because I too used to wonder if I could be denied after accepting Jesus into my life as Lord and Savior. David also prophesied “The Lord said to my Lord” in the psalms, He is not a prophet in any religions other than Judaism and Islam so stop trying to drag ppl to hell, Christians were first called Christians because they resembled Christ, and that is because they each had a personal relationship with Christ and believed in Him for salvation, and that inwardly change became evident outwardly for all to see. you have said everything you said is either because you’re dangerous confused or you are a liar, false teachers will get what is their due, repent
2 timothy 3 13 while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, 15 and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Very literally and probably the most well known Bible verse, “For God so loved the world, He gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” -John 3:16
Great job breaking down this verse in its proper context. I’ve always learned that when reading, studying and interpreting scripture that context is king. God bless you brother Allen!!
This particular passage has been on my heart all day. Thanks for the clarification. You have to always clarify whom the Bible is talking to and I knew that. But it has been bothering me.
Wow Allen! This used to frighten me to my core when I first came to Christ and I actually watched a lot of people talk about this and use this to boast about what they’re doing and say “you gotta do more!” And I found one guy out of hundreds of youtubers explain it exactly how you explain it. I love that you also see it this way! God bless you Allen 💜
Great breakdown of this passage Allen. So clearly and concisely explained brother. It is a verse that always made me walk in brokenness and humility just the same but it’s always good to have that assurance of our theology in check.
Thank you so much for this. It’s a relief. I am kind of loosing hope because I felt I haven’t done enough. Could you please also explain Revelation 3:16? I listened to a sermon where the preacher uses that verse over a year ago and I’m scared until today. I don’t want to be spit out from God 😭😭
This was so helpful I have heard “RUclipsrs” without theological backgrounds scare people unintentionally with this scripture…even questioned myself. Thank you for going through this. Something the enemy always tries to fool us with is the idea and pride of feeling works get us into heaven…we know that isn’t true but when we doubt that seems to be something we look to as justification. It just robs our joy and does not allow us to rest in the promise and joy of our salvation
Be aware of false teachers. Mat 25:44 Then they also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see thee hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to thee?’ 45 Then he will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it not to one of the least of these, you did it not to me.’ 46 And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” Romans 2:6 Do you not know that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? 5 But by your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. 6 For he will render to every man according to his works: 7 to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; 8 but for those who are factious and do not obey the truth, but obey wickedness, there will be wrath and fury. 9 There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek, 10 but glory and honor and peace for every one who does good, the Jew first and also the Greek. 11 For God shows no partiality.
Bro this was me, I've been saved, like asked Jesus to save me, since I was young, went to church for years, stopped going but ALWAYS believed in Jesus no matter what, and i saw a video called "judgement day - what will it be like?" And it shows God talking bout how people are casted away from God even though they followed Him and did works for Him and believed in Jesus and it's so wrong. I mean if somebody didn't believe that's one thing but it shows the image that christians can believe in Jesus and live for Him but God notices one little thing wrong you did and your banished when that is such a LIE, this video should be a crime because it is SO WRONG. If u called on the name of Jesus to save you, he did. Your in the book of life. That's what the cross is for. We know we're messed up but through his grace we are saved not by our works, even tho we should try to be more like Christ. But he's a great forgiving God. The One and Only.
Amen. We have had such bad, bad teaching out there! So happy to find good teachers now like brother Allen. I didn't even know I wasn't really saved until God practically grabbed my face (because I wasn't listening for years), and shoved my nose in my sin. Gently, of course😂 But, so relieved He did!!! That would have sucked😳 Good teachers are such a gem💗💎💗

Brother my pastor just said this the other day. That this was the scariest portion of scripture in the Bible! It makes me want to evaluate my life. It makes me want to look in the spiritual mirror as the book of James says
Pro 24:16 For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity 1Jo 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness
*One of your best, Pastor Allen... thank you!* ...and I say "best" as if it were even possible to pick favorites from amongst your Scripture lessons (2 Tim 3:16-17).
@@Failur3i5n0tan0pt1on As you know, the title "Best at deception" belongs solely to Satan. I am trying to be thankful and supportive. What are you trying to do? Hoping to hear back as your sign-in name suggests you have much to say.
I was afraid of this verse for 18 years. I doubted whether I was truly saved and then I read the passage in a different Bible without the divisions and realized this was specifically talking to false prophets, which explains their response. Thank you so much Brother Allen for speaking on this. So many Christians, just like I was, aren't living in the joy that a Christian should have. Another verse I would like to see covered is Philippians 2:12 where it says, " Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed- not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence-continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,..."
Hi, LaMeisha! I would like to encourage you. The verse you asked about is talking about sanctification. This means as Christians, we go through sanctification as a process to mold and shape us into the likeness of Jesus. We are to be developing the mind of Christ, but it takes time. Nobody can do it overnight. It's a lifelong process. The way can be very hard and painful at times. But I believe when Jesus examines our stewardship, we will see there's nothing to fear. During the process, we will have failures along the way. But in the end, we win! We are His, for keeps!
@@kathierouse5306, thank you. The following verse definitely seems to imply sanctification. I've just heard people use it out of context, so I thought it would be a good one to cover.

It makes no sense. Once you become obedient to God, you then start to get the blessings. You then learn about His feasts and clean and unclean foods. It's an amazing journey. Praise our Abba Father for showing His truth. God bless.
He NEVER knew them because they NEVER did the “will of the Father”, which is to believe on the Son (John 6:40). They claimed Christ as Savior all the while trusting in their behavior.
Hey! I watch your channel. Just recently I was struggling with my assurance of salvation because I thought if I lacked desire to pursue God that meant I wasn’t saved. I now fully understand that my belief on Jesus and what He said and did is what saves me and this has taken a massive burden off of my shoulders. Because of that I now have more desire to dig into the Bible and learn more about God and share the good news with others! It really is good news that we are saved by our belief and not by pursuing a relationship with Jesus! Thank you for what you do with your channel! It’s lifting the burden off of many Christians!
He asks them that to encourage them to be obedient. He’s pointing out their hypocrisy. He’s pointing out a reason why unbelievers would blaspheme him when they see believers behaving poorly. It’s not saying your salvation is based on performance. It’s all about Jesus’s performance. Any good work we perform is filthy rags compared to what He did for us.
I know that. But our response to so great a salvation should be obedience. Our hearts should begin to change and desire the things of God. Doesn’t mean we won’t fall or have rough periods, but I trust Jesus when He said “It is finished.”
Bro, indeed people desire what their itchy ears want to hear n that's a big issue in Christianity today. The whole book of Matthew Jesus teaches about his kingdom but people still go on to teach once always saved, live how ever you want, salvation is guaranteed.
It is written, “Now by this we KNOW that we KNOW Him, IF we keep his commandments. He who says, ‘I know Him,’ and does NOT keep his commandments, is a LIAR, and the truth is NOT in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we KNOW that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.” 1 John 2:3,4 Also, read John 14:15-24!
Praise Yah for your scriptures. This interpretation from this pastor is not all the way right. Verse 23 is talking about those who transgress Yah’s law. They are the ones who don’t keep Yah’s laws, statues, and commandments. Thank you for your post. It was refreshing to see.

I’m studying Exodus right now and bringing up Moses and the magicians helped me immensely because I had not heard it put the way you said it -“just because they can do it doesn’t mean it comes from God” amen
I'm glad he pointed that out too. I never understood how someone who doesn't have the holy spirit can cast out demons. Makes so much sense now.
Amen
But it says they casted out demons in Jesus name, so how is that verse talking about casting out demons by the occult?
25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
Some will try to say "they thought they cast out demons"...but notice Jesus doesn't call them liars and tell them they didn't actually do those works. So you cannot make that claim truthfully.
This was honestly the scariest verse in the Bible for me. Thank you so much for providing this clarity.❤

Edit: Wow this got a lot of feedback. What religion breaks God's laws and there's only one set of laws in the whole Bible and that is the loss of Moses what religion cast out demons in the name of Jesus what religion work miracles in the name of Jesus in his name come on this is not hard for you to figure out cool God is talking about now to bring it all home what religion says Christ fulfilled the laws that means you do not have to follow the law to Moses anymore right but isn't that breaking the laws
Maranatha - Beckah shae....... Fantastic song!!!!
This is because you cant worship Jesus the prophet. The Quran speaks something similar… GOD will ask Jesus did he comnand people to worship him as GOD and jesus will say “No i have to authority to say this” so yes if this us true what they say in the bible, Jesus will depart away from these people… worship GOD only
Sometimes the devil tries to trick me and make me fearful, but I keep resisting those thoughts.
Im in the same boat the devil constantly attacks my mind to instill doubt fear and uncertainty but as soon as i speak The Mighty Name Of Jesus and plead Jesus blood over me and speak from scripture and tell satan and his demon crew to leave me i command you to by the authority given to me by the grace of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Of Nazareth.
This man is teaching 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Amen brother 😊
yes we are saved by believing on Jesus Christ alone to be saved
I'm so grateful this channel exists it really helps me understand
I'm glad I came across this video. It's always a reminder to me that it's all about faith in God and having a relationship more than having a religion. At times, I feel like I'm not doing good as a believer and struggling with sin in my life. I'm still only 4 yrs as a new born again believer and still learning lots.
Thank you Jesus for all that you have done for me 🙏 Amen
God is molding you everyday to become the person he wants you to become you are a new Christian so the bible says he that has done a good work in you and will Carry it unto completion so God is molding you everyday until you meet him
I just went through an intense tribulation that really challenged me. It broke down every part of me to test my faith. I came out on top, thanks to God keeping me on the right path. This video, seeing it now, was shown at a perfect time. Because it helped heal a lingering doubt and helped bring solace to my soul. So thank you for this message.
Jesus is the way and the truth. He truly is the savior of our souls.
Thanks for this.
Not quite sure we should no longer be afraid of it: because in a sense we should be afraid not of ourselves hearing it, but of those around us.
Remember to seek more of Christ's heart for the lost: to seek to share Him.
I've a long way to go, but He is worthy.
Any god who makes you live in constant fear of eternal punishment is NOT worthy of worship. Would you be a good parent if you told your children that you will torture them for all eternity if they did not truly love you?
@@rookmaster7502 so you let your children get away with everything huh? guess if you tell then no, then you should not be a parent. ye who do not understand.
@@rookmaster7502 Any God who is not just - who does not not punish evil - is not worthy of worship.
Would you call the Nuremburg trials just if they just let the people who 'just followed orders' go?
The gravity of their evil required a great sentence.
But for other examples:
---
Chernobyl: the issue was primarily simple greed. Cutting corners, then not doing a good job at work.
It almost left the majority of Europe and much of Russia completely uninhabitable, because several people valued money over doing the job correctly.
A simple 'sin of greed', yet...
---
One fella by the name of Vince Vitale shared part of his story: that when he was young, he bullied another kid.
Kids do it all the time.
After some years, he heard that the kid he bullied went on to commit suicide.
Kids do it all the time, and yet...
----
We tend to think our sin is 'no big deal'.
But the 'wages of sin is death'. If we saw the true extent of what we've done..
Finally: in your analogy, you state 'did not truly love you' as if that (our love) is what saves us in relation to God.
That doesn't make sense, if you're applying that to God.
Our love towards Him is not what saves us, nor could it be. Neither is it our works.
We cannot merit 'being saved': we cannot merit having our transgressions being covered, just as a criminal cannot walk after robbing a bank by saying to the judge "I love you a lot!" or "Look at the things I've done in your name because I love you!"
"On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’
And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’" (From Matthew 7)

Thank you for your time. It takes some courage to engage under a video which disagrees with your worldview.
Have a nice day. :)
@@rookmaster7502 tha't correct. That's what His enemy wants us to believe...that He will punish anyone, for all eternity. God doesn't teach that to us in His Word. His Word constantly speaks of & displays that God IS love...not loving, loveable or love-worth, but Love ITSELF. No created being can justify eternal punishment, as any action of a loving Father, such as ours is. Please don't let Satan speak through anybody and tell you that God will burn people for all eternity, when the Word doesn't say it. Believing that stuff, kept me away from a loving relationship with Him for a VAST majority of my life. Read the Word for yourself, take it for what It says, without reading those falsehoods into It. Thank you for this great teaching sir. A friend of mine very recently brought this up, as he was struggling to accept the fact that he is saved. Hearing him speak, even I began to question my salvation. Glory be to God that it's not about us anymore but about the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Hallelujah!

What you say in 4:45-4:55 seems to apparently contradict James 2:19. “You believe? Good, so do the demons.” I’m just still wrestling with this.
@@daleb4148
Then, all you need to do is ask yourself how much you hate sin. If your conscience bugs you every time you sin, this is good. It's all about the condition of your heart. Demons and devils tremble because they know eventually they will be thrown into the lake of fire for eternity.
Just remember, Dale, Jesus bought you with His blood. You are His forever! He has adopted you as one of His children, and you can't be removed from Jesus's family. You belong to Him!!! Rejoice!!! MARANATHA
Thank you for this Brother Allen. 🙏🏼
God’s light shines through HIS people. So He will see his children because His light is in us. Don’t worry about this if you’re doing His will. I remember when this verse used to scare me but through reading and understanding scriptures more it’s no longer scary.
"Have you ever been afraid of this verse;" more like I've /always/ been afraid of that verse. Thank you for this clarification!
AMEN, AMEN and AMEN. Praise the Lord for the blessing of your ministry brother Allen. God bless you for doing this video. 🙏 ✝
@@markhaney2884 Because there is no truth in him. Thank you, sir. A good reminder. ❤️
Bless you God always shows His children the truth 🙏
I agree with both of you, people who teach that faith is all we need to enter the kingdom are producing
a lukewarm spirit within God's people who are eager to serve him.
Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people *zealous of good works*
James 1:22 Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
Now its very important to understand, these works we do for God are not by our own power,
the works are done and glorified by God's power working in us and through us.
Colossians 1:29 To this end I also labor, striving according to *His working which works in me mightily*
Ephesians 1:19 And the surpassing greatness of *His power to us* who believe. These are in accordance with the working of *His mighty strength*
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things *through Christ* who strengthens me
2 Corinthians 12:9 I will boast more gladly in my weaknesses, so that *the power of Christ may rest on me*
Thanks for this clarification Allen. I struggled with the context of this bit of scripture for a while too.

Trust Christ, meaning be confident in your salvation-that you're saved, while being accountable to our LORD.
Glory is to Christ only. 💝
Hebrews 10:9-10;16-18
"then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God.” He takes away the first that He may establish the second."
"By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all."
"This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,” then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin."
But you do right by repenting of your sinful deeds even though you're saved. John tells us in 1John that real Christians do that on a regular basis! It's a part of being saved.

But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize of God’s heavenly calling in Christ Jesus". Philippians 3: 12-14. I would also read, Because of the loving devotion of the LORD we are not consumed, for His mercies never fail. 23They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness! 24“The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in Him." Lamentations 3:22-24.
What is past is past! I cannot tell you that you're saved because I do not presume to know what God knows, but I can tell you that if you are not saved that "today is the day of salvation". If you are saved then I would tell you to forget the past and start new today! "His mercies are new every morning"! Confessing your sin is a staple of the Christian life, but as Paul explains we will never reach perfection in this life. The true Christian life is direction, not perfection. One day we wil be perfect because we will see Him face to face!
It says in Matthew 4:3:
"Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.".
Notice how Satan words the sentence. He didn't say "You are the Son Of God,..." he said, "If you are the Son Of God..." it's a stark difference from the other evil spirits Jesus encountered. Notice the difference in Luke 4:41 when it stated:
"Moreover, demons came out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew he was the Messiah."
In this verse, the demons shouted that He was the Son Of God.
Thank you for sharing. I never thought of the temptation of Christ like this.

@@starockprince3163
Yes, but you are considering what Jesus stated about God’s WORK at John 6:29 BUT at Matthew 7:21 Jesus was discussing the WILL of God.
JOHN 6:29 (NLT)
Jesus told them, “This is the *only* work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.”
JOHN 6:29 (NIV)
Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” *(No only)*
JOHN 6:29 (ESV)
Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
*(Again, no only)*
JOHN 6:29 (KJV)
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. *(once again, no only)*
So, not only did Allen not correctly discuss the *WILL* of God but he also substituted it with the work of God and chose to use a translation that bolstered his position with the inclusion of the word *ONLY* at John 6:29.
@@starockprince3163
First, it’s not what I “believe” it’s what does the BIBLE TEACH regarding the *WILL OF GOD.*
Let’s first established that our savior Jesus made a clear distinction between the work of God and the WILL of GOD.
JOHN 4:34 - Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the *WILL of him* *who sent me* AND to *accomplish* *his WORK.*
Jesus stated his food was to do God’s will AND accomplish the work of God.
Thank you for explaining this verse. I admit it has troubled me recently.
I’m so glad you did a video on this. I have always had a hard time understanding these verses

Jesus is fully man so he covers mans sins, and fully God so he doesbt sin and cant sin, meaning He is the perfect sacrifice for our sins. That is the base of Christianity, The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone, the Lord has done this and it is marvelous in our eyes.

Christianity/ salvation is a way of life not lip service. 2 peter 2 20....., read letters to seven churches. apostle paul was watchful of him being cast out. 1 cor 9 27 ... you hve free will to come and leave. God cant hold you against you will . supreme ethic of love is free will

Good job great teaching
Brother my pastor just said this the other day. That this was the scariest portion of scripture in the Bible!
It makes me want to evaluate my life.
It makes me want to look in the spiritual mirror as the book of James says

*One of your best, Pastor Allen... thank you!* ...and I say "best" as if it were even possible to pick favorites from amongst your Scripture lessons (2 Tim 3:16-17).

@@Failur3i5n0tan0pt1on As you know, the title "Best at deception" belongs solely to Satan. That aside, when you besmirch a person, as it appears you intend with your comment, it is customary to supply your reasoning. Please do scripturally educate us with a concrete example or two if you are open to the effort. I welcome facts and sound reasoning and (usually!) don't mind admitting when I'm wrong. Your “best” comment was connected to this video. In the same manner, my “BEST AT DECEPTION” comment was in connection to this video.
Amen! 🙏
@@lameishawest2461 why do you think you're a christian, LaMeisha?
@@kathierouse5306 that verse she stated means obey the laws, statues and commandments and don't be so quick to say who's saved and who's not and don't be so quick to say who's going to heaven and who's not...work out your own salvation with fear and trembling...means just what it says. If the righteous barely make it in, what do you think about those who are not so righteous
Thank you for making this crystal clear Allen!
EXCELLENT breakdown of these verses! Very helpful to me!!
Good teaching on this subject Brother Pharr. I believe that salvation is a gift from God and not by works. Jesus paid the price at Calvary
This is a really good video. We are saved by grace through faith. No one should boast because of their works.
You shouldn't boast, Gregory, but do you think you're going to get into heaven without obeying the laws, statues and commandments of The Most High?
@@louisejones5773 Amen.
Unfortunately that's what not Christians think, they think that disobedience is a way in.
Obedience shows love to Christ and what He did for us, it's not too save ourselves.
James 2:17 KJV
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
It amazes me how many of these pastors go to Ephesians 2:8-9 but never read verse 10.
Ephesians 2:10 KJV
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Jesus said....
John 14:15 KJV
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
We keep God's commandments because we are saved.
All ten on them which includes the one that starts with REMEMBER.
They are God's ten commandments, not the ten suggestions.
1 John 2:3 KJV
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
1 John 2:4 KJV
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
Most Christians are selfish. All they claim is that Jesus did everything for them and they don't have to do anything.
How do they show their fruit that they live Him for what He did?
Praise God for this message!!!! Excellent breakdown of this verse and the giving the proper context to this verse!
To me this all ties in to when Jesus said “Why do you call me Lord and not obey me…”
He asks them that to encourage them to be obedient.
@@joshthatpandaguy5025 amen!
He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.”

Brother Allen I am blessed to hear this message. I feel so relieved... Can you please do a teaching on Hebrews 10:26. And if u do, does it apply to people who were once Christian and changed their religion and then years later changed back to Christianity?
I hope this will help brother.
*Hebrews 10:26 does not apply to the Church. The Hebrews in this letter have to endure unto the end to be saved = Matthew 24:13
*The writer of Hebrews is not writing to the Church.
Examples:
(Heb 3:6 cross reference with 2Cor 5:1)
(Heb 3:14 cross reference with Col 1:12)
(Heb 6:4-6 cross reference with Gal 6:1)
(Heb 6:4-6 cross reference with Eph 4:30)
(Heb 6:6 cross reference with 2Cor 4:16)
*In Heb 6:9 the word (accompany) in Greek is echo which means (to have, tener, sostner) salvation. The Hebrews do not have salvation in this letter. Future Hebrew believers will receive salvation at the second coming of Christ. Heb 9:28/Rom 11:26-27/Eze 36:25-38
*Rom 11:27 (My covenant with them)Future Israel only, when I will take away their(Israel's) sins, cross reference with Heb 8:7-12/Jer 31:31-37
*The First Covenant is near to vanishing away = Heb 8:13, meaning the New Covenant has not started yet.
*Nowhere in the bible does it say that the church is part of the (new covenant). It's only man's opinion.
*We are servants of the new covenant 2Cor 3:6
*We benefit from the blood that was shed for the new covenant 1Cor 11:25
*in HEB 4:1 the promise of the rest was made to Israel not the church. Look at Deu 12:1-10,
Israel did not obey God's covenant. Another example is in Deu 20:16-18 Israel did not destroy all the people named in v.17)
(God made a new covenant with Israel because they broke His covenant in Jer 31:31-34) (David also has spoken of another day of rest for Israel in Heb 4:7-8/Psa 95:7-11
*Heb 4:9 There remains therefore a rest(land, kingdom, Millennial kingdom) for the people(Israel) of God.
King James bible:
*In HEB 4:1 we (the church) don't need to fear to enter His rest.
In HEB 4:11 we don't need to labor to enter His rest.
Our citizenship is in heaven---
Phi 3:20/2Cor 5:8

Well who or what is the church is my question
@@John--dd4ge I hope this can help.
The Letters of Matthew, Mark, and Luke, James, Hebrews, an part of Revelation are not Letters written to the Church. John is a deeper letter.
*The Church started after Jesus Christ death in Acts chapter 2.
Scriptures to support this=
MATTHEW 16:18/ JOHN 7:37-39/JOHN 14:17
*The Church is the body of Christ =Ephesians 1:22,23
*We believers are members of the body of Christ = 1CORINTHIANS 12:12-27
*The Mystery of the Church revealed.
Paul says = (...you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) in Ephesians 3:4, which is talking about the mystery of the Church that God revealed to Paul.
Scriptures to support this= in Ephesians 3:3, Paul says = (...as I have briefly written already), that's talking about Ephesians 1:22,23/Ephesians 2:11-18
and
Paul says= (...in one body...) In Ephesians 2:16, which is the Church.
afterwards in Ephesians 3:6, Paul says =(...the same body), which is the Church.
Then it talks about the principalities and powers not knowing about the Church in Ephesians 3:10.
It's all in reference to the Church which in other ages was not made known to mankind, as the Church has (now) been revealed in Ephesians 3:5
@@John--dd4ge I hope this can also help.
(2 different gospels)
[1] In (the gospel of the grace of God), Apostle Paul says that (Today) is the day of salvation =2CORINTHIANS 6:2. You are saved by believing in Jesus, death, burial and resurrection =1CORINTHIANS 15:1-4. This gospel (has) went out to all the world and we are bearing the fruit of it = Colossians 1:5,6,23
*In (this gospel of grace of God), God the Father in Christ (has) forgiven you = Ephesians 4:32
[2] In (the gospel of the kingdom of heaven approaches) = Matthew 4:17. Israel must endure until the end to be saved = Matthew 24:13. This gospel (will) be preached in all the world and then the end will come = Matthew 24:14. This gospel will continue in the future.
*In (this gospel of the kingdom of heaven approaches), the Father (will not) forgive your trespasses =Matthew 6:15
We need to rightly divide the word of God to see this = 2Timothy 2:15 King James bible.
The gospel of Christ and the gospel of the grace of God, is the same gospel, which is in 1Cor 15:1-4. (This gospel was a mystery) =Ephesians 6:19/Romans 16:25,26
Before Jesus death, Jesus and the 12 apostles were (not) preaching the gospel of the grace of God in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. They were preaching the gospel of the kingdom of heaven approaches exclusively only to Israel.
Not even Satan and his angels know about the gospel of the grace of God= 1Cor 2:8
