Hello my name is Justin and I'm a Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college student. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't.
I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.
Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers.
Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years
ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of but not macro or micro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word.
Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. Really need to work on not yelling and cussing at my childrens hurts my heart even messaging this I use to have a lot of anger Jesus has helped me a lot but that stuck out to me, didn’t think to much of it ☹️

When you spoke of idolatry I honestly said to myself, 'no I don't have any of these issues he has mentioned here' until seconds later the Ruach (Spirit) reminded me of when I place my own fears above God and His Word. Sometimes idolatry doesn't come in the most obvious of ways. I pray this serves as a reminder to anyone else who may be in need of the same reminder I received. I pray if anyone is dealing with their own fears as I have and do, that it flees from you now in the name of Yahusha (Jesus). Be blessed!

I can relate to your struggle with fantasizing. Most of the time, I'll wake up in the morning with my thoughts completely unchecked as it goes straight to a whole new world created by me. And it's hard, but the indwelling Holy Spirit strengthens us through the rememberance of the word to overcome these things of the flesh. Praying for your victory in this area!

4.5- Societal sin (I am a very introverted person)
I sometimes struggle with #1 when dating due to my marriage being placed on hold. My now ex wife filed for a divorce against me after 10 years of marriage. We were separated, but still talking in 8 years of separation co parenting our daughter. It took time and growth with God for me to realize my sin which caused the separation and divorce, but by the time I realized my error, it was too late in 2021. I wanted to keep our household together and not be another divorced husband. I sought God for restoration, but He revealed unto me that He wanted to restore us, but He also gave us freewill and to move on. We both grew stronger in our relationship with God, but we grew apart. I also struggled with alcohol addiction, but I overcame it by the grace of God.
This is my situation also brother but only been married for 3 years separated for 1 have a 2 year old daughter it sucks cuz my daughter is suffering me also because of my actions n hers but imma let God handle it 🙏💖

i struggle with sexual sins but slowly thanks to the Lord is becoming less and less of a problem. my biggest area where i struggle with is either idolatry just putting little things before God or just loosing my temper and cussing at a friend or family member.

@@helenperez9828 But the root of every sin is pride, so the people that don't confess their sins and refuse to see the sins they do have have pride , and the ones who are honest and say that they have sins they struggle with have pride also, there is no humility in both cases.

Perfectionist here even in the Lord. Gave myself 5 in all categoris but a 2 in the category of Idolary. I put fam,work, and cleaning the house as priority in many ocassions limiting time in prayer and even church worship. Very eye opening and convicting video. Pastor Allen, I just want too add that your channel, videos, teaching, community and programs and the impact they have in people who are hungry for God(not just followers), cannot be measured with just a simple like or views. Continue doing God's work, His opinion is the only one that matters.
I wonder if there's anyone on this earth really who doesn't struggle with idolatry in some form or fashion. I feel like we all have something that we tend to put before God at times.

God holds each person accountable for their sins and he will not put the sins of a parent on the children and vice versa...but I do believe that the verse that mentions the curse to the third and fourth generation is due to the parent pursuing idolatry. Theres something to be said about that and I'll need to study that more.
@@gabrielatallent7576 Also. Its said that we should spend some time in the word. 10 or 15 minutes to start. Do a quick devotional..in our walk with God. That is a process. Our time spent with Him will increase as our faith increases and we will want to meditate on His Word day and night. Our faith overcomes this world. We'll want more of Him and less of us. But this is the area that takes diligence because it involves time and our time is short and today is the day of salvation. As imitators of Christ Jesus. We have to be about the fathers business and I tell you what..distractions are everywhere.

I scored a 16/20 I struggle with impure thoughts sometimes and you know here and there I might get jealous or there is division with certain people or I might put something above god you know like give that certain thing more time. But just a reminder that everyone struggles with sin and I still need tons of work in my life but nobody’s perfect and that day will come when we will beat sin together with Jesus but until then the spirit will sustain you and heal you and save you from sin. Idolatry specifically. I can often put my work/ministry, personal hobby’s and entertainment before God. Forgive me Lord Jesus and help us all move closer to You!

Sometimes lash out at my siblings when we get into arguments. God will help me work on this area of my life. Also prioritizing him in my day, I too easily get distracted by social media and school that I don't read my Bible often. God is merciful and he will help me improve. For anyone reading this don't be too hard on yourself. Life is not easy. Let's try to stay in prayer so we can have the weapons to fight off all of these fleshly desires. We can do it with God's help.

i feel great where i am. I am inpired by people instead of being jealous and i know that if God is with me, everything

What he failed to mention in this video, and maybe he will address it in the summary of this series, is that God said He would never leave us nor forsake us, and that no one can snatch us from His hand! Praise God for that! He said He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion.... and He said "it is God in you both to desire and to do accoring to His will..." It doesn't say, "I will never leave you, unless you are weak, as I have made you, and you struggle, and I know that you have, are, and will struggle with particular areas during this life." I must have missed THAT Scripture. I will close with this, if my relationship with God is based on my tenuous grasp of Him, and not His eternal grasp of me, then I am lost, have been lost, and will be lost. But God..... HALLELUJAH!

I did pretty well, but I struggle with letting go of resentment and bitterness towards some family members. I don't see them often, but it would be an obstacle to developing a closer relationship with them. I also struggle with coveting other people's seemingly easier live. Of course, I know they have problems and issues I cannot see. I am asking God to help me see myself honestly and point out any other areas of struggle I may be blind to. I got 16/20 so an 80%, which shows me there is always room to grow. I scored myself a 3 in spiritual sins and social sins cause I know I often put things before God (being my husband, my kids, my work, or my school) I am developing that area of my life. 3 for social sins cause sometimes I get angry in the flesh and occasionally cuss, and I know I fight with some levels of resentment deep within me, not to the point of hatred, but I notice it especially when I get angry how that resentment towards someone who has hurt me will creep it’s ugly head up or at least tries to.
Sexual and social sins I rated myself 5, I use to struggle with both of those but God has really worked within me on those two areas and it’s no longer areas that I struggle with. PTL.
I love how Allen is continuously posting things like this so we can keep checking and testing ourselves as Christians. It’s so important to never get too comfortable. We need to constantly keep testing ourselves to make sure we’re fulfilling God’s will.

This here is the true Gospel, in my opinion. You're relying on God's grace and mercy, not on your own work. I think what Paul referring to was people who has zero care for a holy life, not for those who struggle. Otherwise, by faith alone goes straight of the window and once again it becomes work based, i.e., the law.
@@jw2442 Well. This is one of those big topics for me personally in my own mind. God does know our thoughts and even our intentions. However. I do not believe in "once saved always saved." If I continue to practice my sin..I do feel guilty and convicted. Grace abounds where sin abounds but I do not have the right to trample on God's grace though I have many times. I can be forgiven of that but at some point I can't just say...well I'm struggling so God will forgive me. Jesus will save His people from their sins. Not necessarily...in their sins. Remember. He told the adulteress that He didn't condemn her but to go and sin no more. We can fall down seven times and get back up. But at some point we've got to quit practicing sin and labeling it struggling. I'm preaching to myself for motivation as well. I don't want to be a hypocrite.

Thanks brother Allen. This is a really useful exercise because it forces us to examine ourselves. My weakness is definitely impure thoughts or adultery in the heart. I think the best way to combat this is to contemplate that Christ suffered for me on the cross for such a sin which makes me sad about my sin. I'd be interested to hear what others have to say about combatting such sin.

What he failed to mention in this video, and maybe he will address it in the summary of this series, is that God said He would never leave us nor forsake us, and that no one can snatch us from His hand! Praise God for that! He said He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion.... and He said "it is God in you both to desire and to do accoring to His will..." It doesn't say, "I will never leave you, unless you are weak, as I have made you, and you struggle, and I know that you have, are, and will struggle with particular areas during this life." I must have missed THAT Scripture. I will close with this, if my relationship with God is based on my tenuous grasp of Him, and not His eternal grasp of me, then I am lost, have been lost, and will be lost. But God..... HALLELUJAH!
It's a daily battle. Asking God Himself in sincerity to help you overcome this problem is what helped me. It is a struggle at times, but it's worth it. Also walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the desires of the flesh. Is another verse that helps me. I think of things I like to do that are worth much more than this sin is to me, like playing my guitar 🎸 😌 and looking forward to having fellowship with the Lord when I read His Word and meditate on it. Also in the psalms, David says " I have hidden your word in my heart, that I may not sin against You. Also weep and wail over your sins,and purify your hearts, you double minded." Fight the good fight of the faith. Also, look at Moses, who chose to obey God, and suffer with his people, rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. I hope this can help you. Though I feel similarly to brother Parr, I feel listing a score is non profitable because we all seem to asses by different metrics. Instead I'll say "my brothers who battle lust, let's keep fighting the good fight and put on the armor of God daily." I'm greatfup to the LORD for the progress I've seen in pornography addiction, temper, and media over indulgence but it feels like an uphill battle in western culture. Don't ever let shame interfere with your persuit of daily renewal and stay strong brothers and sisters!

Hi thank you for this evaluation I graded myself at 80% I struggled with #2 but I am improving
I finished with around the same score. I struggle with impure thoughts that stem from my past sexual sins and past porn addiction. I'm not sure how to successfully combat these, but am trying my best to do so. I also struggle with telling dirty jokes. I struggle with internal thoughts when others don't behave the way I think they should as well, but this area is improving. I covet a relationship and am putting finding one as a top priority when I should trust in God and His timing.
try memorizing scripture....start with one verse and build on it......it may take a couple of weeks to even learn one verse properly and ask the Lord to embed the verses in your heart.....you may be surprised at how powerful the Word is when even your mind begins to go in a wrong direction ..

This was much needed for me . Lately have been struggling feeling my connection with God and it makes sense . The more I relate to these the further I’ll be away from walking with the Holy Spirit . I struggle with lust the most . It has been my biggest struggle for awhile now

I really struggled in my younger years with almost all of these sins and mostly before I was saved.
I am older now and I realize that those things I struggled with and acted out on was hurting me more and my life and was delaying me from having a relationship with GOD.
But when I first became a Christian most the struggles with was still there
I was still trying to party / going clubbing and drink alcohol while engaging in flirting and listening to explicit music
Which my alcohol drinking almost lead me to being r*ped.
and hooking up with others in a promiscuous way which led to heartbreak 💔 because it was something I wanted to do but when I drank it blacked me out so I caused myself to become a target of date r*pe or one night stands . yes in the morning the walk of shame is real .
I smoked cigars too which did some damage and caused me to get seriously I'll in the hospital and caused severe pneumonia.
The alcohol caused something in my stomach lining to inflame up
I still struggle immoral sexual thoughts, from time to time but I am free now of it having a strong hold on my life Thanks to GOD .
as for spiritual sin I believe I put more effort into my marriage at times I believe it consumes me so much that I become more distracted from GOD'S plans for me .
Which my marriage is not like any other relationship I ever had in my life . Rather Peculiar and super stressful .
I think my relationship was more Stronger with GOD before I got married and wasn't stressed at all or having more mental issues. Everything was so calm and peaceful in my life then.
Now I find myself going through more of a struggle with my mental health right now due my marriage it has caused triggers for me such as daily PTSD , hallucinations, delusions, paranoia, su*cidal ideations, crying spells, angry outburst, yelling , etc... I know that thinking of my past and constantly being hurt by it is not going help my future one bit and do receive therapy yes I am shame tell about my marriage because is not your typical marriage it's rather a odd one very unique where I stay with my spouse because I am married I know he is trying to get better himself he struggles with PTSD also from being in law enforcement he says . I wasn't ready for marriage and he was and he wanted to get married right away so we did after a short time of knowing each other. ( Which I wanted to get to know him better) and I wished I did . 😢
He does have a temper sometimes violent , he made a mistake and hit me a few times . I did go to the hospital for him almost k*lling me and i went to the hospital by ambulance . But I still care ❤️ about him a lot . he sometimes calls me names from time to time . he sometimes withheld s*x and that's and my fault because he says that I am always sick mentally and I do have issues with acid reflux. I know TMI
I thought even " putting my foot down would help" by shouting back , harshly critiquing and threatening to leave will stop let me tell you that was the worse I could have done almost d*Ed from that so now I learning it is my job to stay quiet and calm and rational around him but my mental illness won't seem to work in my favor sometimes causes my spouses anger to flare worse .
But I know as a woman of GOD I must stay quiet calm and peaceful and communicate no matter what . I now use softer gestures and I am now desecalate the situation and change the subject and so far so good .
My cortisol levels are at its highest but it is working now

So I am doing my job as a wife .
We just miscarried in march which was a rough time for me and him he was very angry I know I am the blame because my womb wasn't strong enough . 😢
my spouse says that because of my sins/ actions GOD is " punishing" us and do Not believe this at all

That we are punishing ourselves
We are the ones who have to work on our marriage as a team but my spouse says he doesn't believe that the culprit is me .
And I know arguing back is not the key and it never will be
My marriage will get better

As long as I do my part and have self control and get help with my mental health like my spouse tells me I will be better in my marriage
I have to remember that sins do not help any situation

For nearly the first time in my life I can say that I do not struggle with any sexual sin. So I gave myself a 5.
For idolatry, I gave myself a 3 because I most definitely put my job before the time spent with my Lord and for that I am ashamed. I also struggle with fits of rage with my preteen children and husband. Sometimes they push me and I fly off the deep end. And lastly, I never thought of covetness as secretly wishing someone didn’t have something. Not just me not wanting it!

Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I got the same score, lots of work to do but this helped me distinguish where I need to start in order to submit fully to the spirit and not my flesh. I had my lowest score in social sin as well, I know it wasn’t mentioned but gossip is something I struggle with so i considered it when scoring myself and it brought me down by a lot. I am excited to start growing in and with God and to see where he takes me for his glory alone!

I have let the stressor of the military and all the extra responsibility get to me to the point of putting the military over my relationship with God in the past month or so. Yep! I would say I rate myself at about a 72% There are areas in my life such as my thought life, anger and frustration (especially because of the pandemic), arguments between my daughter and I, however we definitely come together and talk about it and we forgive each other afterwards. My thought life 💭 is sometimes violent because I relate things going on in the world, or because things going on the the political arena and not being able to see my family as well as other things my life is. I praise God that when we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanses us from all unrighteousness (First John 1:7-10). I find myself confessing my sins before I go to bed as well. It’s a struggle but I Thank God for our great Comforter, The Holy Spirit. I scored a 60%,mainly because I struggle with social sins. I do tend to lord it over others and be argumentative when speaking to people about the Word. I also struggle with my mind running loose when it comes to women, and sometimes mt urge to be in a romantic relationship can become unhealthy.

I can’t grade myself because I am not very active. I’m working on my knowledge and skills as I wait on the Lord’s plan for my life. Additionally, I have been able to work on my spirituality and I seek the Holy Spirit, pray, and study my Bible on everything I feel. I alienate myself from worldly things and people as well. I don’t get every decision right because I not omniscient. So I lean on the One who is. So I can’t take this test because I would pass with flying colors. It’s something I can come back to when God deliver me to the final destination of His purpose for me. This was a really good one. I’m going to share it in my various Bible study groups. God bless you!
